Dylan hasn't really shown any indication that he knows his relationship with Sophia should be kept private.
- On the bikini show with Sam, he pinch Sophia boob in front of Sam.
-In the cabin at the beach, he grabs Sophia ass while she's speaking to Liam.
-At the yoga event, lusting at Sophia ass and being noticed by Patricia.
-At the park, grabbing Sophia ass in public .
-And worst of all (but it has been removed), asking Aiden to blackmail his mom so he can see her dressed more sexy.
- I only played the Bikini Show with Dylan alone, so I can only say limited things about it. The behavior I think he shows when Sam is around is one of jealousy.
- On the beach he didn't really have to fear discovery. Also, his mind was clouded by the FOUR Viargra pills.
- At the yoga event, all the women were looking at each other. Sophia was just one of them. And he was embarrassed that Patricia noticed.
- The public scene in the park was embarrassing and unnecessary, I agree. But Dylan had Sophia's permission, no one knew her there, and the two of them disguised this as a "scientific" investigation.
- Less easily explained away is the stolen kiss in the parking lot after the soccer game, which they forgot to mention. Here he really didn't think about the consequences of his action.

There is a scene at some point where Sophia clearly tells Dylan that what the two of them have just done must remain between them. And Dylan clearly reacts to this when he replies - "Who's he going to tell if he did this to his mother". The event was relatively harmless.
I think we will see, the more the relationship between Dylan and Sophia escalates, the more Dylan will be interested in not letting it be known.
