Totally agree, and what you’re actually honing in on is the entire problem with AWAM. You can’t call it a game because there are no actual game elements (other than a couple of ham-fisted attempts at mini games - I’ll not waste any more time on those, at least not now). You can’t call it a story because there are so many different and mutually exclusive stories going on.

The last update illustrates the same sort of problem that’s endemic to L&P’s design:no matter what path you’re on, Sophia is taking a bath that evening. We know this because there’s no variable that makes her date with Liam possible.

If you’re not on the Dylan path but are on the swinging path then there’s absolutely no reason why Sophia would be wearing a bikini under her robe, and no convincing reason why Liam would feel awkward or embarrassed by Sophia’s flirting. He should be excited by it.

If you’re on the good wife path she would most likely come to the door in sweatpants or some other casual house attire, and would change for the bath after meeting the boss.

if you are on the Dylan path, she’s probably also not going to wear a bikini under her robe to meet the boss, cuz that’s really weird and would raise questions if not suspicions.
