Those other events in isolation really have no effect on the main plot problem and that of a mother and son making out and having to face each other the next morning ....and going forward. How does one come back from something like that?
Put that into context with Sophia and Dylan
Sophia and Dylan have had other awkward moments (pick any number of them) ... Date night was just one really bad decision away a totally life changing situation. A saying I am fond of is, "you can't un-F**k something that's been f**ked." So, L&P almost totally has written himself in a corner as to how to solve the plot problem.
Logically, the correct solution is for Sophia to acknowledge what happened with Dylan and why it happened, even though it could have been worst. From there a long and serious discussion with Dylan is needed to address the changing dynamics between them ... Most likely some sort of pledge not to allow that sort of thing to happen in the future from occurring and trying to get back to normal ...until the next time LOL!
But ... how it seems L&P has a limited wheelhouse of plot tools; I wouldn't be surprised if L&P doesn't fall back on his old trope of... "It was all for education..." and pass of the events of the night to Dylan. A good writer would either go with the logical solution or escalate the relationship but still try and keep things from going too far if the writer is totally stuck on Slow burn.
Right now Sophia is in HJ faze, question is how many more does she do in this next update. On the 2nd side side job route, she has jerked off 6 different dudes (3 boys she tutors, Dylan, Deshawn, and Tyler) in 24 hours of game time. She tasted the 3 boys nut which means that will be normal soon. Sam got to be next and Liam's boss possibly Neil too after. My guess is the museum boys will kick off her BJ faze.
