disagree. redering faster means faster updates and more content. You seem fairly active by your comment count, so you might have noticed that every follower of this game is upset with the release pace of L&P. and not only in here which is frowned apon because it's a pirate site, but also in his discord.It's not like he makes more money rendering things faster, quite the opposite if anything.
People are fed up with his release tactics.
So him speeding up the process would quiet down a lot of voices in this regard and generate new subscribers, and on top of that, it might also help him to release a better product, considering the game has turned into a random compilation of ideas and animations with Sophia, rather than a decently written story.
On a personal note, and I think I'm not alone in that regard, we might witness sophia have sex with literally any character in this game and not have to introduce it to the next generation so they inherit our suffering. There is not a single game on this site, that exists this long, and has still no intercourse with the main character in any form. I cant remember her even giving dylan a decent HJ.... or anyone for that matter. just dryhumping and touching. so yeah.

While i do visit this thread mostly to poke fun at the drawn-out development process, i think you're putting way too much stock into what upset people say, versus what they do. And this is what they do:
Specifically, they stay and they keep paying the guy. No matter how much they cry and complain, the number of supporters remain stable since 2022, which incidentally seems pretty common for established games with long delays between releases -- BaDIK has very similar performance (although with extra, short-lived spikes when an episode actually lands) And that man upgrades his hardware probably more often than he changes his underwear.
So, from the developer's point of view there isn't much of incentive to work more efficiently. He's getting paid either way.
Could he make more if he worked faster? Maybe. Maybe not. As long as he seems comfortable with earning what he does, this is a bit of a moot point.

I have just noticed a small "a" next to 230. After the "sauna" event a half one update again? I thing L&P is trying slowly to establish this practice.

the graph clearly shows a degressive line, and your interpretation of "there isnt much more to gain here" is ignorant. he can always earn more if he would release more often and a better product. Whales might not care and keep supporting him, considering the market is so bleak and depleted in this genre, which basically leaves him with no competitors.
But regardless, instead of releasing 3 updates a year, a 8 year old game, a incest/sex game that still doesnt have any intercourse with the main character whatsoever is flat out a joke. If he would invest and pick up the pace, he might be able to release the game as he has intended with all the branches, choices, and characters. But instead he keeps the update pace slow af, claiming he changes his hardware often is ridiculous considering he still runs 3090s, and only keeps throwing out lukewarm excuses as to why things go so slow forward.
It's a decent middle-class living he got going there. Maybe 4-5k after tax, he gets to put into his pocket with just his patreons. But the guy clearly lacks vision.

What you all are going to get is Sophia kissing... getting felt up, something sucked on... lots of teasing and if you all are lucky maybe the Japanese kid gets to pet the kitty.
So... folks please keep your expectations moderate or low. It's a side event that doesn't further the story or advance the narrative. Yes, my everyone's score card Sophia is corrupt enough to.... But the audience really doesn't get a say in things.

The graph literally spells it out underneath, 5% growth in the last year. It also shows over 10% growth YTD. No, that's not degressive, no matter how some people wish it was.
As you note yourself, the whales don't care. And to get new subscribers he'd need to deliver vast changes in speed, quality or both. It's not like releasing an update in 9 months instead of 10 is going to suddenly make tons of small people go "alright, L&P really showed me, i'm totally going to pay him money now".
