This is the final straw for the game. I could put up with the delays. I could put up with the lies. I could turn a blind eye to rape and loli crap. But this? No. This is a bridge too far. This crowd is unrealistic and it takes me out of the game. How can you expect me to jilloff to this crap?

I've stated numerous times that I always knew incest was to be a big part of the game. I never at any time called for it to be dropped, (as if). That was so unlike the many who harangued with over-blown moral outrage, while white knighting, kink-shaming & continuously campaigning for the Aiden & some other routes to be given the elbow. They got their wish. It's not my fault that the Dev chose not to introduce a get-out clause for those who find incest something of a turn-off. Other incest inclusive games I played never had a problem, IIRC, with letting players avoid it. That used to be the very essence of choice-based games & AWAM was billed as one.Unfortunately, you're wrong. It starts with the fact that AWAM still has a lot of routes that have virtually no connection to the main story. Almost none of the side stories, not even the ones that are really only connected via Sophia (such as the kids or the old men in the old people's home) are really abandoned, they are just waiting in line for all the other side stories to wast even more time delaying the actual main story of the game.
I also think the idea that the focus of the game has changed is completely wrong. The game was called “A wife and mother” right from the start and anyone who thinks about it even a little will realize what that ultimately means. I can still remember the first scene in the car where Dylan risks an unauthorized glance at Ellie while he sits on Sophia's lap. My goodness, it's so extrem obvious that I just can't understand this whining here.
So if anything is missing, it's Liam content, aside from the boring good wife route. I see great potential here, which is somehow barely used, although this would only make everything even more interwoven. Anyway, everything that revolves around Sophia, Ellie, Dylan and Liam should be the focus of the game. That is what "A wife and mother" sould be about. Simple.
It's interesting that you talk of potential. AWAM HAD potential. It had a lot of potential. Unless you believe that 12 years, (officially, ref. the Dev), between storyline developments is a good way to tell a tale, that potential, apart from Dylan-driven incest, is gone. That's why I say they're "abandoned," because with a timescale like that, they may as well be & probably have been. Where in the whole history of world-wide storytelling has there been a single author who willingly & with forethought, left gaps of over a decade between elements of a continuing story? [I'm serious, if anyone knows of such a case. Post it here on this thread].
We've had the discussion before regarding the focus. As you say the game is called "A Wife And Mother." Dylan is neither a wife nor a mother & unless the boy is secretly gay or bi-sexual &/or has a sex change, he's never going to be. Yet, he's MC & because Sophia has adopted the role of his impressionable, younger & 'dutifully obedient' girlfriend, (who ever had one of those, even at age 14, i.e. Sophia's mental age?), I'd contend he's the real MC now. AWAM is awaiting the time, (in 30 years?), he shags his mother so good that she's transported in paroxysms of delight, as per sub-teen wish fulfilment, because clearly an inexperienced virgin can do that. RL would have seen Sophia taking the lead & the sex education storyline appeared to be pointing the way but that's also morphed, so that Dylan is now effectively telling his mother precisely what he wants & lecturing her along the lines of, 'if it feels good, do it.' Making Dylan MC meant that his incestuous desires became the whole point of the game, which apparently required no proper explanation from Sophia as to why "everything changed." It's not even your 'porn logic' but that's what happens in games of the kind that AWAM has become. That to me is a big change of focus & the last 3+ years, or put another way, all of Part 2, is the proof.
I notice that, once again, as in comments gone by, you've chosen an egregious insult, when you accuse me of "whining." Comments ringing true are they? I don't whine, I comment. If most comments sound like complaining, that's because fans & followers don't all relish the M/S incest fest all the time. There's a real question about who the game is actually for.
