Julius Ash wrote that his patrons are abandoning him, and It's not entirely true. With your bakery, it's like some of the buyers like their baguette on weekends, but most of them do return...
In overall, his number of patrons is increasing. Let's check the numbers by the end of the month...

probably no, they drop to their lowest tier of support once they feel the author is not developing the game and they raised once the author released an update just like me with the other game i support

roro, Your post I used only to continue themes. And the fact that You are not a buyer, but an investor is probably good. Maybe even there are people who are exclusively patrons? It does them all credit. But you should agree, that most all, same buyers. And they want to get a quality product for their money, and preferably quickly.

I believe most of them are supporters or investors and not only buyers. After all, with less effort, and no money spent at all, you can get the latest updates here... If you read all his patrons posts on his patreon page from the last two months, you would notice that most of them are not only buyers.

6500 patrons is impossible goal.My guess is that there is only like 10 000 patrons that are supporting what 150+ games.
1000 patrons can be a more realistic goal.

Darkcookie (the creator of Summertime Saga) alone has more than 16,000 patrons... The number of paying patrons of adult games creators isn't huge (in worldwide perspective) but it's constantly increasing. We have an inflation of adult games and the competition is great, but there are less than twenty AAA adult games in creation (in my opinion) so there is no reason to believe that L&P's numbers won't increase, as long as he'll continue...

It probably have to do with the fact that he drasticaly change the way he makes the game.He started with updates every 2 weeks and spread between all characters.1 year later he change it to 1 update in 4-5 months and working on 1,max 2 characters per update.ANd he finish them before move.Of course later he add more content to the main characters.
So in order to get such a big increase of patrons and money the dev need some drastic change.And we know that won't happen.

I think lockerxx is right. The change he made was a bad change in my opinion (I was a paying supporter of his game), but he has a very good communication with his patrons. polls, weekly posts, discord channel, update progress meter and so on. Plus, he has a very unique art style...

Of course part of that was that he actualy is making his own renders not using DAZ or other 3d program.
And it seems you are one of the minority that thinkk he made a mistake with smallest number of characters for each update.
Trust me before that the game was a mess.We have so many characters and almost nothing with them.And this is not a way to make sandbox game.GG saw that too and now from 1 year we are getting same treatment with SU-1 major character per update+some other scenes with 1-2 more heroines/villainess

Theres going to be some cheating and or /ntr, once Sophia's "morality" hits the fan. Or atleast thats what the game
leads you to believe. Honestly, with all the teasing L&P has been doing, its hard to say what is actually going to
happen. Thats probably when you'll start to see a lot of people drop their support since ntr is despised by so
many. I think thats why the dev has been dragging the story out as long as he can. Because once those tags get
added to the game, the ntr police will have a field day.

i guess he need to make a new poll on patron only post to make sure the majority of his loyal fan will continue their support as the blackmail story goes on and off course he made the blackmail thing is avoidable for those who doesn't like ntr

The mistake (imo) is not in focusing on one character, but in the large gape between updates, but that's a matter for a different thread...

Ok i played this game on the filthy path for a few hours now and i gotta say render wise this game is big but where's the sex, the nudity, what's with this build up i don't get it i played wrong or smthing i followed the walkthru but i dunno maybe i didn't choose the right decision, i don't know what i just played i mean this game is so big but has no lewd content(again maybe i didn't played the right way) this game to me doesn't look like age restricted...so are we supposed to get something lewd in the next updates?

That must be an understatement about slow corruption, i played this game for 6-7 hours straight i kid you not and nothing happened i mean i was in shock and now that i read some older comments here apparently nothing still not gonna happen...
The best scene is on the good wife path shouldn't be vice versa that's why i played this game on filthy path i thought that all hell gonna break loose... strange game this is...
