The main reason LP made Dylan 2nd MC was so he can shoehorn in sexual content without it involving Sophia, such as the Amber and sleepover scenes, as well as potentially with Ellie.

So he made Dylan the 2nd MC for money, even if the LV tiers hadn't anything to do with it, specifically. But he did add Dylan to the ranch because of fan pressure, that is true.

He doesn't give in to Sophia sexual content demands because he thinks once that happens, interest will go down. Once Sophia has sex, there isn't more story to do, her having sex means the game is basically over, and LP doesn't want that.

I agree as we have has Dylan imagining screwing his mother with a picture image and also being screwed by one of his team mates(picture image).
He has held back during the Sam/Ellie/Nat and Dshawn/Vicky events and this is a guy who is supposed to be speeding things up.

Why Dylan the second mc in the story :
If we're talking about Amber, the main character, who is the second character? Of course, it's Sam, not Dylan, because Sam is Amber's son, not Dylan. If we go back to Amber Dylan in the game, we see that Amber cares for and looks after her son much more than Sophia does for Dylan (we know this from her conversation with Dylan about her relationship with her son, and how she dresses up in front of him to make him feel comfortable, which made him confident when he talks to Sophia. Even Sophia herself said: How proud you are of your son Amber because he knows how to attract women with his conversation).

Let's return to Sophia. Since Dylan is her son, it's only natural that he's the second main character in the game. He's her son and her responsibility, just like her daughter Ellie. She and her family find themselves in a large new city, unlike their small town. She takes care of Sam, Tyler, Zach, the three boys, and the two young men at the museum, but who will take care of her son? She's never cared for him before, and she previously advised him to look for a girlfriend elsewhere. He's a young man with no experience with girls because she hasn't taught him anything like she did with the others, especially the three boys, and like Amber did with Sam over the years. So, she has to take care of her son, or she'll lose him. As for the forbidden relationship, as a married woman, any relationship she has outside of marriage is forbidden. Those who object to her having a relationship with her son should remember that her relationship with her daughter Elbest was also forbidden. Did they object to that? Isn't her relationship with Sam and her acceptance of being his secret lover forbidden because she's a married woman, and could it destroy her marriage and her relationship with her son as a mother and son? Similarly, her relationships with Tyler, Zach and the three boys, the two young men at the museum, Aiden and Vicky's friend—all these relationships are forbidden to her because she's a married woman. The only person she can go out openly with, away from her husband, is her son; there's no one else, not Sam or anyone else. And this doesn't destroy her marriage because he's her son.

L&P stated that he can see nothing wrong with having a 2nd MC.
Now we have Dylan being slotted into events that he was never supposed to attend.
No other character in this game has had there own update besides Dylan,even though Sophia is the main MC and no other character will EVER get there own update beside him.
Sophia never cared for her son
Having sexual encounters with any characters in this game,inluding her son or daughter, will destroy her marriage.
This is about Dylan being written into events where he was not supposed to be a apart of like the ranch event which was supposed to be a lesbian event and needed high lesbian points and friendship points with Patricia.

It is very tempting for developers to introduce different levels for supporters in order to generate more revenue. There are always people who think the experience offered by a particular game is worth a lot of money. And I'm talking about people who pay $50 a month or more to be close to the game's development, get first-hand information, and yes, influence the gameplay.
And that's exactly the problem with these V+ supporters. The idea of high revenues is tempting, but the downside is that as a developer, you give up control.
If you, as a developer, lose 10 $5 supporters because they are dissatisfied, that's $50 a month, which is manageable if your supporter base is large enough, but if that's 10 V+ supporters, that's already $600 and not funny at all.
His “small patrons” are not the problem, his V+ supporters are the problem.
Under certain circumstances, and L&P is one such case, a developer becomes dependent on precisely these supporters (V+) because they have too small a supporter base and these supporters have a significant influence on development by threatening to withdraw their support.
L&P has fallen into this trap and can't get out of it, and we have to live with such decisions – like Dylan, who is now popping up everywhere.

This relates to the classic porn stories & films I mentioned in an earlier comment. In those, when sex occurs, the story gets better. L&P clearly doubts his ability to pull that off with the youthful fans who support him. So much for "his vision." What was that again, exactly? I forget....
