Sorry, did I understand correctly that in order to see an event with a character that I really like, I will need to go through a side storyline with a character that I absolutely can't stand?

I have heard that if you're not doing Aiden's tasks, Patricia will call on Saturday to arrange the Sunday event, but I don't have the evidence to back it up. But yeah, I made the same protests right after the update when I found out about it.

Worst case scenario, even if it isn't the case, I will likely create a mod to enable the horse-riding event on the lesbian route. Because like other things, requiring Sophia to accept Aiden's tasks for things on the lesbian route to me is just dumb. If you're interested, PM me and I'll loop you into the PM thread.

L&P has to vastly improve his workflow process, otherwise this game is going to get abandoned.

If we're only getting half a day per update with his current rate of 2 updates a year, its going to take him 20+ years to get to playable day 30. If I understand correctly, he sets the scene up, waits for it to render than makes whatever changes and renders again? Wouldn't it be a lot quicker to hire someone to simply render his scenes so he can start working on the next ones? Of if he's concerned about leaks and what not are there cloud rendering services?

It's an idea worth exploring. But whatever the number of renders, the most important thing will be that L&P sticks to some sort of plan. He gets into trouble when the scope of the update changes.

I'm not sure about that. It might look like we can get the updates quicker but in reality it will delay the overall progress of the game which can only be seen in the long run.

Also, I see a lot of supporters who have started to oppose L&P's approach towards the game which, tbh, I completely understand. We saw a very similar delay during the Fashion show event but this time the supporters cannot take it anymore.
But when I think about it I feel like "What's wrong with almost 800 renders per update for a 4 month wait? Moreover this is how L&P has worked from the start and honestly the number of renders are always higher than a well known female MC game which can be considered as a"rival" to this game"

The problem I think is L&P's failure to keep up to his promise. I don't think L&P is deliberately delaying this update or lying to us but I also cannot defend L&P anymore against the persons who criticize because most of them were/are supporters of this game and I believe those criticisms are actually concerns about the future of this game. Since I'm one among those who worry about the future of game, I politely request everybody to endure this wait period and let L&P sort out this issue after the upcoming update.

Either way, the fact that he wants to tell a story the way he likes doesn't explain the amount of renders.
L&P reached 65% on March 20. Aiden event is supposed to have 20%, up from 65% to 85%.
IMO, he started Aiden event on March 20, if he created 10 renders/day we would get 11+18=29x10=290 renders.
So, the average is very low, no point in creating and deleting scenes because it's just a waste of time. Better to take a day off, write the text, sketch the scenes and then DAZ.

But when after 4 months you come up with 800 renders you don't explain 7days/8-10 hours.

After explicitly telling Sophia that taking the subway at night alone in San Alejo is just idiotic. Under no circumstance do it. There is really no reasonable reason for Sophia to take the subway. Sophia is in no way an idiot.

True. Completely unrealistic.
And, IMO, if Sophia gets on the bike and rides off with Aiden to any destination we are entering the unrealistic zone. It's kind of a waste of time to keep trying to make connections and predictions between events.

EXACTLY! It's why his defensive response rings hollow, he's deliberately missing the point that the problem is with his organization. Instead of addressing his disorganization, he's trying to sell people on the idea that everything is going according to plan and that the game has no flaws. He at no point is addressing the structural/fundamental elements of the criticism.

You have to know how to lower your pride to come out bigger and recognize your mistakes.
This is obviously not the case with L&P. It does everything perfect.
It's sad to see that.

This seems to indicate that the museum date is at the end of the day after closing. Although how hot the event can be when Jason and Haru know that they're sisters is questionable, unless Sophia and Patricia get up to shenanigans together afterwards. And even if this and the Ellie event are the only two lesbian events during the day, that still leaves the rest of the day as "mostly hetero"

The riding event is supposed to be a really big event that might take the majority of the day if I remember correctly.
For me that leave 3 options :

-The riding event will only focus on Sophia and Patricia and no male will be involved. Which leaves us with the museum guys. But unless there’s some alcohol involved, I can’t see why that event would lead to more than showing some boobs. But according to L&p the Hetero events on that day are supposed to be “hotter” than what we had previously (which was at best showing her boobs)

-Or, for whatever reason, some guys will be involved in the riding event.
Either a new character (again), or Dylan. Don’t ask me why he would be here when he wasn’t invited, all of this is just me putting some theories out there, but as seen previously, something that may look like a lesbian event at first (the yoga event with Dylan being there out of nowhere) or a lesbian storyline (Vicky and now her boyfriend) may not continue on that trajectory.

-Or a 3rd option, would be that what could have been a “fairly simple” 14th playable day with 3 or 4 events with one big in the middle (riding event), will now be filled with “Dylan side stories” (Dylan/Amber, Dylan/Emma, Dylan/Ellie, Dylan/Marie, etc).
Making what could have been a really (relatively speaking), simple playable day with not that many events, bloated with events, which would then put playable day 15 in 3 years from now on at best.(if we continue on that trend of updates speed)

Even though I have played all paths, I want to go on the record that I have never chosen that one. Sophia always takes the car. Anyways, with that out of the way, It looks like Sophia gets distracted at times... and why other people make her ignore her sister and take the subway, I will blame it on... long waits between updates. Patricia without question, and without any witnesses to speak of, knows how to resolve threats towards Sophia. Patricia Turner is the best sister in the world that anyone could ever have. I just hope Patricia doesn't come after any of YOU OTHER PEOPLE for making Sophia take the subway.

There isn't an big enough for this statement. Nothing can change, everything has to be how it is, anyone thinking differently is wrong, no middle ground on anything. That opening line is the definition of a "strawman argument". People are asking that he scale his graphics back down to where they were an update or two ago, and not use 1080p. Is he saying his graphics before were shit? It's just another attempt to avoid any accountability.

When he abandons this game he'll blame everyone else for failing to support him enough in realising his vision.

Just a reminder that the original idea was that each release would be a playable day. Then he split it into 2 releases per day. His last split into thirds was actively rejected by his patrons and he did it anyway, now he's trying to justify why he failed to deliver any of the promised benefits of a split.

At some point in his life L&P is going to want to do things like get married, buy a house and have kids of his own. Does anyone really think he's going to build a life on a porn erotic game for perverts?

The statemenet from some guy/girl back in 2020 will turn to be right.
It was something like this.
day 8 - around 3 months
day 9 - around 5 months
day 10 - around 7 months
day 11 - around 9 months
day 12 - around 11 months?
I need to apologies for not believeing him/her.
And I am afraid that day 12 will need even more than 11 months to be completed.

Fairly sure he stated somewhere he floated that option too, that he could release updates after "big" events. But what constitutes a "big" event seems to be completely arbitrary, much like what gingersweetgirl is saying. The events of this update were meant to be small, but L&P has evidently changed his mind.

That said, this is still information that I've picked up along the way, and don't have immediate quotes for, so can be taken with as many grains as salt as one wants. But if a patron has a quote one way or another, I'd be much obliged.

I didn't know that it was connected to the Aiden event,I thought that it had more to do Sophia's relationship with Patricia and high lesbian points.
