This is one outcome I really don't want to see. To explain properly I don't want to see Sophia so far gone because of the tasks that she literally just begs for them and becomes boring.

Since this game is supposed to be somewhat realistic. There is absolutely no set of 12 sexual tasks ever than can actually break someone to the point of them completely succumbing to them. She could give into her lust but not completely break in just 2 weeks. That would be bizarre.



That would be a bad ending. But I wouldn't want an ending where Liam just accepts whatever Sophia wants like every typical spineless husband in a porn game. Liam should be given a personality and should be able to have a proper say in what happens in the marriage from there on out

We've discussed this a couple of times. The question is why Aiden should stop after Task 12. Because it is a question of honor as a future Mafia boss to keep his promises? Nobody here believes that. And it would be really unrealistic. Or have you lost the desire to have sex after just 12 days with a new girlfriend? But that would really surprise me. If there is still something to be gained from the woman, such types will never stop. And what Sabertooth__ says is also true, after this short time Sophia's personality will not have disappeared. But what can have happened after 12 days is that your old life has disappeared. No more family, no teaching post and no more old friends. Only Aiden and his friends will be around. To what extent this is Sophia's fault will only become apparent in the course of the way. Which then leads to the question when Sophia should then turn to.

Perhaps we are concerned about the entanglement and crash of a person in the story that L&P has given no thought to at all. There are two events that we know of which should have had a huge impact, but almost no waves hit or were canceled because L&P did not know a solution. I'm talking about the huge mistake of Liam and Dylan as instigators of blackmailing Sophia. Especially with the Dylan involvement, L&P was too quick to drop this event because he didn't think about the consequences of this act in the rest of the story. It didn't seem that important to him. It could well be that L&P does the same with the Aiden blackmail. Sophia completes the 12th task, Aiden is happy and Sophia goes home and has breakfast with her family and her only thought will be "I did unspeakable things but now it's over". Inner monologue over, problem dealt with. Just like the prison visit.

It has to be said that it is one thing to be corrupted by a big mobster/mafia and quite another to be corrupted and come under the control of a school bully.
It is the extreme of such a route (the route by which an educated woman becomes the sexual slave), corrupted by a bully, and his gang?
The hint given by Hlextor that Sophia will be alone on this route may keep these facts hidden from the rest of the family.
A double life for Sophia whether she continues with Aiden or seeks Morello's help.

This is an interesting point, we have multiple examples now of a disconnect between how we see the importance of scenes and how L&P sees it. The Dylan Twist, Liam's gambling, the tutoring side job, these three events were all identified by players as really big deals, and L&P didn't seem to understand. In the case of The Dylan Twist, he removed it entirely after pushback but his attitude was (still is) a great big shrug of the shoulders and confusion about why anyone cares. The second side job he has lazily tried to recon with the disclaimer on the game's front page, but his statements are another shrug of the shoulder. Then with Liam's gambling debt, he's had very little to say and seems to see it as nothing more than a way to introduce Morello.

In three of the game's critical moments, the players and L&P seems to be on completely different pages. That isn't necessarily a big deal, a writer cannot always anticipate the audience's reaction. But in this case I think it's troubling. At minimum L&P was short sighted in his inability to anticipate player reaction, but then his responses also showed someone who didn't grasp the issue. I have no memory of him issuing a mea cupla and saying "Whoa, you guys have a great point about the Dylan Twist. I had envisioned it as a childish prank that could be brushed aside, but you're right that it's a much bigger deal than that. I'm going to tweak the game and remove it which will change the story slightly, but I think that's better than leaving it in." Instead we got a statement like "I removed it. I don't see why such a big deal was made out of an event that is short and unnecessary, but I removed it because people were unhappy ."

There are times when I really question the direction of the game's story, and these events feed into that. L&P simultaneously wants every choice to be slow and deliberate, but then doesn't give any thought to major story developments. He wants to make a realistic game, but then doesn't send inquisitive when players point out major inconsistencies in the plot. He's in a hurry to go nowhere. He has cultivated a following that is taking good story seriously, but then seems surprised when they question the logic of characters acting illogically. No matter what you think of Shota, the fact that L&P seems befuddled as to why the scene raises so many questions is an issue. He simply wanted a scene that he found hot and didn't seem to give any thought to how such a scene would work in the context of the game.

Writing is hard. L&P is in over his head. That's ok, but he should admit it and not continue to pretend there's no issue.

The loss would be too great and no woman would choose that path.
Up until the sex scenes I think Sophia will think it's nothing too serious, and when the sex comes in she will try to hide it all.

You've saved me the bother of having to answer at length, (again), on the issue, because this is also what I think. As for why Aiden should give up after 12 tasks, boredom might be an answer but seriously who'd ever be bored with Sophia? I think speculating is a waste of time when it comes to life after task 12. It's much too far away & might never happen. After task 4 there's going to be a long wait for the next one, if the pace remains as it is. Theorising about one task at a time is enough for the inter-update period, for me anyway.

As for all the Sophia losing her soul stuff, all I can say is that people have far worse to cope with & don't let the trauma fundamentally alter them. That doesn't mean that I think she can't get upset. Even Sophia's amazing "reset" power must have some human limits. I also take into consideration that she's supposed to get an increasing amount of enjoyment from the tasks, which should help to lessen the misery of them. Unlike many, however, I don't want the tasks to transform into a mutually consensual sex game. That would end the blackmail in an undramatic slow fadeout. I'd sooner go for the Morello option.

IMO, being caught with Sam is a far more likely way to introduce some marriage threatening, soul destroying segments. As for being found "in flagrante delicto" with any blood relative, that could end her marriage, destroy her life & several other people's like the flick of a switch. So, for those looking forward to some serious incest in future updates, she'd better not get caught.

I’m getting WAY ahead here, but I’m reading all of these posts of the game getting “dark” and “bad” and families getting ruined and such, which would be a logical thing to happen IRL if all of this taboo sex went on. But how it ends is the way P&L writes the ending. I’m not predicting anything, I’m just suggesting that this being “erotic literature”, I don’t see where it HAS to end badly for everybody. Unless P&L wants to teach his audience the folly of taboo sex or something.

First off, there are numerous different Routes. If you compartmentalize one Route, it could get fairly crazy for a bit but it wouldn’t necessarily mean gobs and gobs of people having sex on one route. Whether there is one sexual liaison, or five or so, that, in the erotic literature world, is a manageable number, if much of it is kept secret and lies were told.

Take for example a Dylan/Sophia route. Dylan and Sophia go nuts and have sex. One alcohol-fueled time, or ten times. But they keep it secret from Ellie and Liam. Then maybe Sophia comes to her senses and stops the Dylan sex, and at the same time Dylan falls in love with one of the teen girls and gets into a relationship with her, and decides that he’s no longer obsessed with his mom. Liam is preoccupied with his job and his gambling and other projects and doesn’t catch the vibe, and that’s the end of it. Far-fetched? Perhaps, but it could happen in this type of literature. Or, if Sophia is caught by Liam having sex with the mailman or Morello or someone, while Liam is caught having an affair with Cathy or someone at the office, they slowly patch it up and move on. Some couples do that.

You can invent this sort of thing for most any other Route. Maybe Aiden gets sent to Juvenile Detention finally. Sam gets a hot groupie. Neil gets booted out of his house or they split up and have to move away. Morello takes out Bennett. Liam buys an Antonio for Sophia and likes watching her use it. And the rest live happily ever after, or at least move on.

Again I’m not predicting anything. It’s up to P&L what he wants to do. But I’m just saying it doesn’t HAVE to end real dark and messy. I like happy endings!

I can't recall him saying this was going to happen but the probability of it in various routes has made it a topic of conversation for years in this thread. Some developers produce different alternate endings for their routes, varying from absolutely terrible to living happily ever after & points in between. Some endings of games I've seen & played were very dark, (as in too bad to be enjoyable) but there was a choice.

There are so many possibilities & characters in play with AWAM & such a stretch of time, that I tend not to think about the end, except when I worry about potential game abandonment!

There are fans who want Dylan to replace Liam as the man of the mansion & some even propose he has a harem at the end, including a pregnant Sophia, carrying Dylan's son/brother. That's one extreme I don't think we'll see, or at least I bloody well hope not!

I don't believe Liam will catch Sophia with Ellie. That was the entire point of getting the bathroom lock fixed after all. As shown in the Sam event, Ellie is also far more cautious. And besides, last time Sophia was caught with Ellie, Liam just shrugged his shoulders.

So in terms of incest, I believe the consequences of Liam catching Sophia with Dylan is the only one of significance. If Liam catches Sophia with Patricia, Sophia simply moves in with Patricia, since Carl is one of the few that are an upgrade from Liam (the Morello brothers being the other)

It doesn't matter what Sophia wants to give up or not. Usually the blackmailer determines the rules and thus the outcome.

L&P can tell the story in such a way that all the tasks have no influence on the life that Sophia has led so far. With Aiden's help she can fuck her way through the whole school and is still voted the best teacher and mother of all time because after the twelfth task everyone suddenly falls into amnesia. Many of the participants in this discussion are more interested in the tasks than in how it affects the story or what the end result will be. That is understandable because this is a porn story and showing sex scenes is the most important element and they can't be dirty enough. But for me all the tension is just lost. If the logic and the emotional comprehension is lost, the sex scenes no longer make up for it. For me that means an Aiden blackmail with all its consequences, the total social crash of Sophia, would be better told for me than any bustle in between. The player makes the decision, then he should also come to terms with the consequences in the game. This applies to the Dylan, Elli, Alyssa, Zac routes as well. But that's not how most of them present it or they don't care. Because all the talk about Sophia starting to enjoy blackmail is exactly that - repression and indifference - it's just a game. And I will unreservedly agree with this statement.
