Yes, I agree with you. Morello going in the same direction as Aiden now is definitely not to be expected. That would make no sense at all for Sophia. However, L&P has stated that the deal with Morello should be well thought out.

If we examine this closer, the first Quid pro quo was Liam's debt to the casino. To clear it, Sophia had to meet with Don's brother Larry, Which, after the meeting, absolved all debts to the casino. His new teaser title tells me that a new deal could be in play now, based on this "Like a Cumare." text. This new Quid pro quo will be I'll help with Aiden in return for..... Then again, maybe "your wish is also my wish." might come into play since he ended the teaser caption with a question mark. In the simplest interpretation Sophia has already done the quid and now she is trying to cash the quo, no other strings attached. As you said, the "something like my cumare" lets one think she is not "full cumare" but at the same time he also says "your wish is also my wish". So that wording does not help to make it clear. Assuming she is, Morello should just pay the favor and that's it, end of story.
Then obviously there is the more intriguing interpretation in which there will be a discussion/bargain about something that Sophia has to do again in return, i.e. the quid and the quo have both still to be done. Probably something that Morello will cast as a "small favor" to compensate the gap between what she is asking and what he feels he owns her after Larry visit. And there could be a choice for the player to make, as you said, the proverbial lesser of the two evils.
I think that both are perfectly possible for what we know, the second one opens more interesting (story-wise) options for sure. And adds another layer of complexity (branches, dependencies etc) to the story and more development.

He didn't say there wouldn't be any more teasers, he said "secret teasers like this", and by that he means (in my opinion of course) either a teaser that spoils surprise or a hot teaser (or both). It's pretty obvious he didn't mean regular teasers (like the last one with the don), otherwise why use "like this"?

The only thing I was hearing for the last month is excuses that he would be already done with his part. Now he still says he needs time to finish his own part. I thought March was a joke but here we are
It isn't definitely March but what we're hearing seems to indicate that it's a strong possibility.
Who knows, perhaps we'll get 2 updates this year but at this pace it could be as many as 4.
