I don't know how L&P can think these side events keep Sophia from coming across as a slut instead of proceeding with the main storyline. The side events are doing the exact opposite.

I think he's talking about the soap bubble minigame in the laundry room.
That's the same question I asked months ago.
I don't think he's able to see the minigame.
The answer is that you have to play from the beginning until you get to this point. If you choose to take a shortcut and choose the scene directly from the Gallery, you will never see this minigame.

The side events for Sophia detracts too much from the main course of the story and plot. Where side events work are with main characters that circle around back to the main character, Sophia.
For example, if you make a side event with Dylan and Amber {and in this event, Dylan gets greater education and confidence} that turns into Dylan later on using his confidence on Sophia.
The problem is Sophia is too much involved in each story and event. The best side event was the slumber party. In theory it made it more possible for a Dylan and Ellie path which could lead to more future connections that involve Sophia

thats the problem he turns everything into a event well like 90% into events which detracts from the main story and further delays it these side jobs are side stories that should not matter and don't matter as far as towards and for her but yes the stories should push her into a certain direction but it does not when she becomes naughty it is on those said side stories that don't mean really anything to the story overall
t seems to me that the side branches are also the author's testing. He selects the form of Sofia's reaction to certain events. Remember earlier, all of Sofia's movements towards the "bottom" were justified to her by the following: I'm doing this for my son, I'm doing this because I haven't had sex for a long time, oh, I'm drunk and can't control myself, and now in both side jobs the idea sounds like an agreement is an agreement. That is, the author lowers the bar of Sofia's internal barriers and does this precisely in the episodes of side jobs. I suppose that Aiden's 5th task will pass under this justification.

And contrary to what he usually says, he has no clear plan and is only now coming up with a story. (As everyone already knows.)
If this is how it is, there will continue to be problems.
Scene errors, collapse of initial setup, weak story, repetitive use of the same scene, and long and boring dialogues......
He has to think about why there are two Sophia/Dylan events on Saturday, and if there is no Sophia/Danelle handjob scene, he has make Dylan's cuck event scene very short, this time.

Dylan/Amber Route and Dylan/Christine(Ellie) Route are alternate/blocked versions of Dylan/Sophia Route.
Both versions require Dylan to reject Sophia in order to proceed.
In other games, what you're saying might be possible, but not in this game.
Dylan/Amber Route and Dylan/Christine Route are both "side" routes for Dylan.

He separates the side story and the main story.
And the side story has its own ending.
(Dylan/Emma, Dylan/Christine, Sophia/old man, Sophia/kids, Sophia/Larry, Sophia/Bennett.....)
Sophia/Dylan and Sophia/Sam are also separate and do not affect each other.
Even if Sophia rejects Aiden, Sophia has no problem going to the jacuzzi with Dylan.
Yes but the net result of these - what if - sidelines stories still sully the character. At least, for me. I like the main story about a frustrated housewife.
If L&P wants to do side stories to extend the game he should have created a new character for them.
