Have not been able to play this on android for ages, adding new directories isnt my strong suit, shame will have to let this game go i think untill someone can sort it out on android and make it just one thing for us dumb people

In the "revamp", I chose add wife/go to gym (I think) and most of the others were added when day 1 started.
Then I learn that the wife was kicked out and I'm still involved with most of the other useless characters. It's very disappointing since the wife doesn't have any content, only getting a text from her for days at a time. I wanted to have the option to kick her ass out if it came to that. Dealing with the wife is the only reason I play this game.

hello i want to try this game, and i notice like there are two versions so have a couple of questions.
1. should play just the first one? is this one of those cases where the original is way better than the remake? or the reverse in which the revamped one is the better one?
2. why was it revamped? it needed censoring or something?
3. do the two versions differ wildly?

The original is much better. At least you get to see the story progress with some of your choices (if you can over look the paths bleeding in to each other).
With the revamp, you choose your path at the start based on what you did in the original(supposedly) and it's pretty much downhill from there
.edit; I really don't think this dev went back far enough on the wife story path in the revamp.

remake is called revamp for a reason, and its actually not the first time it was revamped either. basically the code was a nightmare and they tried to clean it up multiple times, and the most recent also make it look and play more like a real phone.
content wise stuff before 6.0 you could pick and choose what each character does without technically locking down a route. versuses after there are 4 main routes and some subroutes in them. best example before the first real clean up you could let the wife go full ntr but also have MC bang her sister and try to keep the niece for himself. now if you go ntr with wife, theres no romance route with her sister, just some pity sex given by the wife cause wife wont sleep with MC anymore and she is turning out her sister step by step using MC for starters. just as well in newer stuff if you choose alpha, MC's step sister will not end up doing porn or screwing their brother.
all in all revamp has less issues of play, but to get the most out of content you need multiple play throughs.. honestly only reason it better than old versions is that too often the rats nest of coding would lock people out of content for no reason. that seems to be remedied now. on the plus side, new version you dont have to click 1000 times to get through a couple days til new steps

Salem is too poorly revealed in the plot as a character, the one that is written in the Alpha path is simply a "clown". It is completely unclear how a person who pulled off a scheme, with a practically raider takeover of a company, could be afraid of a childish, unconfirmed threat from MC? But this again goes to the question of what the author sees in front of him and what tasks he sets for himself. One thing is clear, that the author himself does not understand who, as individuals, the characters created by him are. And, practically all of them! Although their sub-paths should go parallel to the main plot, otherwise the characters are useless. As a result, we get a "one-man show"!
why is this revamp 6 gig big and the previous non revamp 13 gig where is this content dont tell me the endless blue balling texts need that much of space i rarely saw any videos in both versions at all nearly any date results in a black screen and day ended so no space needed for any dates. the working is just another blackscreen and done and the mall is of no use 99% or the MCs home 100% useless so where the heck is all this gig of content ? XD

I remember some of the videos of the wife in the early stages were kinda long, like a couple minutes or more. Most of her content was removed in the revamp (probably convinced by supporters, since at a certain point there's no hope for her anyway?). The worst thing about that is, he left the full story of the mom and some others that should have been removed up to that point as well, forcing us to suffer through it all AGAIN...

Isn't it obvious? The author set a task that he couldn't cope with! I'm not a coder, I only have a general idea about the programming side. As for the script, I can say that the author has no idea how to write a script.
He makes his project without having a finished, polished, finished script.
This can be done with single-line and simple projects, but not with such extensive ones where there are many main characters, many secondary characters, and their fates are very closely intertwined.
As a result, "Everything is mixed up in the Oblonskys' house" - dialogues from different sub-paths began to intersect (in one branch of the plot, the Wife says - no, I love my husband, and in another branch of the plot, she goes to fuck whoever she can...) and confuse the players!
Taking into account the lack of psychotypes of the main characters, it turns out to be "tequila with beer". The player is stupidly lost and does not understand at all who his hero really is.
In this situation, the author took the simplest path:
- My arm hurts, I won't treat it - I'll amputate it!
- My leg hurts - I'll amputate it!
Your lost Gigabytes are "severed legs and arms", cut out sub-paths.
And then the terrible truth is revealed!
Bitch! It turns out that without arms you can't even pick up a cup of coffee!
And without legs, damn it, you can't walk!
