Unity - Completed - Abandoned: A Tale Of Forgotten Lives [v1.0] [Kerni]

Still remains the best game made by Kerni, and the best bdsm game overall on this site, and in my top 3 games on f95. Milky Ways was chaotic, but prevailed in the end somehow. The direction of the current game in development by Kerni is questionable, and I hope that it goes well, but I am sure it will never surpass this one.

This is a bit of a gem for playable AVN games that are fully 3D spaces. Giving it a 4.0 score. For when it was made it was well done.

+ Interesting story - light enough to enjoy, good enough to hold attention
+ Good models and well rendered animations
+ Lots of little animation extras that bring the girls to life
+ Visuals can be scaled up with higher resolutions and better settings
++ A lot of different toys to enjoy the girls with
+ Lots of different bondage options
+ No shortage of sex machines to use on the girls
+ Endless use of toys, machines, and sex with girls

- Only two love interests. Would have been killer to have several more with different body types, ages, etc.
- No way for the MC to utilize the sex machines himself (i.e. using them for cleaning him, pegging him, etc)
- No way for the girls to engage in anal play with the MC (only him with their backdoors)
- Bondage is the primary fetish. No watersports, or chances for exhibitionism, etc.
- Threesomes are sparse.

The game was definitely good, but lost a little in that it could have been taken MUCH further with additional LIs, additional types of sex and fetishes, being able to set camp in different sections of the base, etc. And it was definitely anti-anal for the MC, especially given all the options he could have availed himself of it.

Worthy of a playthrough, just keep expectations in check and enjoy what it has.

Kerni's games are somewhat unusual in they are 3D and have somewhat higher system requirements than most. This is the Kerni game a slightly prefer, just based on setting.

Graphically I don't have any problem with it, although the somewhat 'anime waifu' aesthetic of the women is not really my thing. I do enjoy the focus on bondage device content - this fills a niche as far as that fetish is concerned.

The writing is somewhat bland, in my opinion. There is very little edge to it, and this impacts on my enjoyment of the sexual content. The main character is extremely bland, the women very quickly are enthusiastic to submit to him for very little reason, they all just love basically every activity. It feels like there are no teeth. So a bit average overall.

I'm sorry but I really tried to look this. This is a game that is the perfect example of just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Creating a well animated VN probably would have been substantially better than what's currently here because if you are going to do a full 3d first person game then it has to have important features. There is no FOV sliders, the looking between characters does this slow droning effect that makes me sick. The graphics are also, while good in some places, glitchy. Your camera constantly glitches into objects and what's interactable or findable is not clearly defined so you are constantly smashing your face into walls, benches, and boxes looking for something to interact with. There are also some annoying minigames that I had no interest in, but some you must do for "extras". Why did the minigame to find random numbers in a binary code exist? There was no reason for it to be there except as pointless busy work. As for gameplay, you have no control over actions. When the BDSM "events" happen from the EI, you don't have any control over what happens or even the scene itself. You are forced to just observe and it was not very good to begin with. You're constantly running around this empty base looking for your objective which is usually just finding something hidden or clicking with a glitchy object. The MC is also one of those giga-betas who is immediately established as a loser who had a girlfriend but got dumped and now he's a self confessed loser. He stutters are is and is always second guessing everything. A-ahh.. are you s-sure it's ok to do this??? I mean really are you sure you're okay with this????. Like dude I clicked the option for a fucking reason, stop being so insufferable. I could drone on and on about this game but really it's just a mess and would have been substantially better if it was not in this awkward 3d unity engine. Oh and also because it's heavily unoptimized it will send your fans into liftoff mode and use up WAY more resources than it should ever use.

This game, and its sequel, are fucking legendary.

Yes, the grammar and phrasing are awful in the original. The built-in mods improve the game tremendously. Yes, the cable and breast physics are all over the place in many scenes. That's ... well, just something to laugh about I guess.

...but the sheer amount of content, discoverable side content, character-building, relationship development, I mean this game is fucking huge and has a well-directed sense of kink that I am 100% on board with. If you're into wholesome bondage (without much SM) this game is for you.

To top it all off, the 3D graphics are actually very good: the two girls look amazing for a realtime 3D game, and all things considered are competitive with Daz models in many scenes. Again, the game gets huge props for being fully interactive: you walk up to a girl and she looks at you and responds somewhat naturally. This game feels different and better than any RenPy game I've played that way.

This game has some glaring flaws, but it gets a 5/5 from me because it's so ambitious and so well-executed along its core premise. I'm blown away that anyone has spent this much effort on a project like this. I've played through the game twice and fell in love with the characters both times. The story is kinda over-the-top sci-fi, but it's a good backdrop to get to know the girls and they feel like real people. The girls are adorable and our MC is a teddy bear nice guy who isn't terrible to play even though I prefer more decisive/dominant roles. (He ends up being dominant by the girls' sheer submissiveness, which generally works out.)

This game feels very different from the standard RenPy fare. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing something special. It's in a class of its own on f95 -- and if anyone knows of other games like it (besides Milky Ways and Last Hope) please message me.

In all honesty, this is one of the very few fully build 3D that has some decent content to it. Yet even if the graphics, 3D renders, story and characters are good, i just could not vibe with this game, in every sense of the word, i was disinterested, even if intellectually i can tell this is a very well crafted game, i could not finish it.

Maybe you will have a better time with this then i did, try it out.

Full 3D game with cute graphics and detailed character models with well made animations. Game has also really interesting plot.

And of course there's sex. Lots of hot sex scenes with very heavy focus on BDSM fetishes. Many different sexual interactions and big bunch of kinky sexual devices, toys and outfits to use.

Really one of the top games here but may also require good PC to run smoothly with best graphics.

This game is great. Neat and interesting story with lovable characters. Has a considerable, but not insurmountable amount of content. I like how to can customize what clothes/devices the girls wear and how they react to that. The 'nice guy vs we are your sex bots' thing got kinda annoying at the end, but hey what can you do, Victor is just so nice.

When I first tried this game, I was so excited for it. I was telling my friend "you have to try this, you have to try this". Then I met the first android in person and she was very ugly. Didn't like her looks at all. Then I met another android, and this one looked better. But the game started to get really boring. There was no more suspense. Before it was like me in space finding a hidden asteroid base and wondering if I was going to get killed by a security defense system. Then the game just became about two stupid androids with BDSM fetishes. And the game was only about getting them their BDSM toys and helping them with their BDSM fantasies. It got boring fast and I was never able to complete it. Going to uninstall it now and never look back.

A game porn game with a decent story, kinks, area for exploration and decent enough graphics. The game is not that well optimized so it might not run that well on smaller laptops, though on bigger systems it should not be a problem since the graphics arent that high. movement is a bit clunky and could be made more smooth, but over all it is a solid game with plot and everything. looking forward for more games.

Wow, this game feels really special and I love that. You can run around with WASD and interact with E like playing a first person shooter full HD game and the Story is very good. Graphic card get really hot but my 5 year old Laptop could take it. Not like this tiny little 5 pixel RPG games who look like a joke! I didn ´t know that Unity was able to do that and I would really love more games where I could walk around with WASD and mouse! This feels realy like a real game and not like a comic book or a renpy VN with some choices! Graphics are decent, especially when you think about everything is video or full animateed and no single pics and the game is from 2016. This game graphics could easily compete with multimillion dollar 2016 egoshooter graphics from ubisoft and steam Halflife! But F95 should really make a Bondage tag, because the BDSM tag is wrong, the lewt contend is only Bondage with vanilla sex and fuckingmachines. Even the camera position during lewdt scenes is the best I ever seen, you could choose every possible position with zoom in and out with lower or upper body 360deg. Only con, no first person shooter feeling in combat scenes and male MC talks like a beta simp and didnt have any humor but overall a rare hidden Gem and a must play for all bondage lovers!

As a game it's v.good.

Shame that I can't really skip or speed up scenes, but it's one of those rare games where I'VE READ EVERY DIALOGUE. And I've enjoyed it.

It's not mind blowing, but decent. Dialogue looked sensible.

Although there is a lot of blind exploration till you find an item (that was not clickable before) or enter a specific room. In some situations you will have to explore 100% of all rooms TWICE (or learn that you should have
went to sleep or talked to a chick before exploring).

The game is in 3D, with combat elements. So sometimes you may rarely get STUCK or fall out of room. So SAVE OFTEN! It's infuriating when you loose 2h of gameplay...

Got as far as I could with this game until it bored me.
Never picked it up again after I put it down - just had no enthusiasm.
Just recently deleted the file to make room in HD for other games, so I will never finish it.
- The sex scenes are rather vanilla.
- Too many boring times between repetitive-like scenes just to progress story.
- Most of the ship is for show rather than go, thus you get to play in only a 1/4'er of the ship = Too much exploration for too little (story progress) play.
- Stupid floor-plan just for the effect / excuse to go thru excessive amount of 'swooshing' automatic sliding-doors.

-- What grinded my gears most about this game, is... I'm talking to 2 female androids who downloaded their personality from the ships main computer that knows 99.999%* of the ship's layout and what's in it, yet, there are times they're following me around like a lost sheep to go do the next task (to progress game story), and I'm thinking: "But this is your ship!, I should be following you around, not you following me!, I'm more lost than you!, I've no idea where I'm suppose to go!. "O_O"
(*.001% they later find out the compost in the Greenery Rooms is made from decomposing ex-crew members).
Rating this game: 2/5. = Dev's spent more time on the looks rather than the game play.
If I had to recommended a better game that ramps up the sex scenes and gives you plenty of rewarding game play in between but keeping to the same theme of: wandering around in a spaceship, talk to and fuck females, and have tasks to do as well as unlockables to help speed up gameplay, then I suggest: 'Last Hope' - (Not sure I'm allowed to share links in Reviews, so didn't add it, but it's in F95, so you don't need to look elsewhere).

Really not that impressed. The writing is kind of stilted and feels like a bad translation. The visuals are good but the controls are terrible and the characters are boring. Feels like it takes itself way too seriously for what it is.

The Gameplay was nice, if a bit repetetive. The Story/Characters were meh, but the posable BDSM stuff was really nice. Commanding the girls around is a real turn on. They both looked sexy, the devices were inventive, and posing/playing withe them is really nice.

There are a few glitches and misspelled text, but it was alot of fun. The characters are easy to understand which makes getting to know them more interesting. Although the jump from strangers to lovers is too fast. Messing with the girls and toying with them makes the time between missions more than worth the time. If the game was longer with more content, better graphics and more unique interactions with the girls, it would be worth paying for.

because of the optional content the game dragged a bit. i just wanted it to end.

Overall
i got a good amount of enjoyment out of this. but because of the flaws i wouldn't be able to recommend this easily.

The story is pretty great but the English is not… As a result, it often got difficult for me to follow. The animations are good though. This game is very large and kept me occupied all day. I still have not finished it but have played a big chunk of it.

I tough it was ok, it is different and has more work put into it than most porn games but that doesn't help it be great, the english is not very good and that's always a bit of a downside, the game is extremely linear and often made me question the point of being able to walk around when there is nothing to see or to do different from the story.

It has a combat system that's kind of messy but it's something i would like to see expanded upon in others games.

The girls model are kinda meh for my taste, definitely kinda stiff, the animations are alright, and the story is serviceable for a porn game.

Would recommend it for people who want to try something a bit different.

This game is not Abandoned, I repeat not Abandoned!
In fact, this game is one of the most complete game in the universe.
Hardly any reason not to try it..
It has some bad grammar though (Its kind of funny actually) and you cant see the mission log, which really sucks for ex- you start a quest, you get some instruction , you save the game and quit but when you load game another time, you might have forgot what the quest was and there is no way to know what to do next which really breaks the flow of gameplay...Except that everything's top notch, really kinky stuff....Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
