Abonded Games

I am happy to be part of this forum and the community over the year's most projects for one reason or other become abounded by the creator/s but still is good to know that people are putting their own time to make use happy.
The thing i suggest is possibly a bit annoying but if possible to have separate directory in the forum with all abandoned games and start to make something like up votes for game which deserves a second/new chance.
I know is hard to create/recreate game and regretfully many of us have no knowledge,skill and the money but I hope will be able to see some all time classics given a new life.

So when an abandoned game gets the most votes... what happens next? You're going to roll up your sleeves and start investing time and money to complete it?

I don't think a game abandoned even by its own developer is worth completing.

from art and writing standpoint, recreating the style, and most importantly, original story will be impossible.
+ going through the mess of new developer (as in coding skills) is a torture, so writing new code will be painful sometimes too.

I disagree, there's some that worth it, Love and Submission by example. The issue is that, if they are take over by someone else, then they'll not worth it anymore.
To take over a game that worth it, you need to know everything regarding the characters, their past, personality, motive, and all. You also need to know exactly where the story is going, as well as why and how it's going there. Obviously, you also need to have the same writing and drawing/rendering skills than its original author. And, while the last point isn't impossible, it's the two others that matters the most.

My hope is only for new players to try some of the old games and hopefully someone with the time,resources and skills takes over.
I respect every game creator especially the one's trying to finish abounded games nothing more.
