About payout on patreon asking for W8-ben AND i make nsfw game

Iam making an hentai game and i already have some patreons now that i want to withdraw the money i see that they ask to fill form of taxes.. and i really dont want to give them my identity.. so i see only 2 options
1 is closing patreon and looking for another alternative .
2 is looking for a way around it .. if there is a way ?
help me please

There is no way around it regardless of platform, they all have to deal with taxes in some way.

The one and only way around it is not making any money.

Every single platform is the same.

Patreon don't care who you are and what you do to earn your money. They have automated processing to help you stay legally clear in regard of taxes in your country, that's all. And it's the same at the other end of the processing, it's automated and no one will go look at your personal record to search from where the money come ; and yet, even if they did, they would only know that you earned it through Patreon, without knowing what account is yours.

So, unless you're doing porn in a country where it's prohibited to do so, what the matter ?

I tried to do Ecomm anonymously in 2001. It was a huge headache. It created tax problems for me (I also had a regular job with payroll deductions).

If you want to make some money online, you will have to bite the bullet and go legit. No governments like people avoiding tax obligations, even if you're only trying to maintain anonymity.

The world where a person could move 1,000 miles and take a new name and start from scratch is long gone now. We have to put our names and faces to almost everything these days, and it's not going to stop because the governments don't want to have people operating out of sight.

Or you could try to register as a business, maybe where you are from has a DBA (doing business as) allowance, where you can be "Lustcrestx Co.". Of course, Patreon may want a business ID # or something in that case.

Not quite how the law works, you can't be sued for offending someone.

If that was the case every single TV network and movie studio would be up shit creek not to mention some AAA games studios and singers.

Unless it's based off real life and it shows you raping someone then there is nothing anyone can do.

Unfortunately with regards to money everything comes down to taxes in some form and all companies need to cover their own backs. Tax evasion/fraud is pretty serious and even if they aren't guilty it would cost them money until it goes away.

Due to that they won't let anyone off with it.

I can't remember the name of the XXX comic company but they do extreme bondage stuff bordering on snuff and they put disclaimers into the comic books in a neat way. The cast of the comic are all backstage saying, "look all of this is just acting, this is only a comic, this is not real life. In real life, no one should ever do anything without consent."

Patreon isn't okay with it but people post their stuff until Patreon says otherwise.

Some get found out and removed, some don't.

There is always buy me a coffee or subscribestar if Patreon does fail you but you'll get away with it for a while if not full time, long enough to build up a playerbase which would aid you going forward.

Pretty much, yeah.

Patreon don't like rape, incest, mind control (falls under rape), sleep sex (still rape), beastiality, loli or shota.

Then again, and I do have to stress this because I feel it's a bit unfair on Patreon to lay all the blame on them, they only banned this stuff because of pressure from PayPal and Mastercard.

They threatened to pull out if Patreon didn't clean up so it was a case of lose a few adult game devs or millions of dollars.
