Drpinkcake, you are an artist, a wonderful story, complex and addictive, very balanced, with humor, drama and sex, hook from the minute one you start to play, one of the best games I have enjoyed, thank you.

Very bad. A horrible ending, and very linear, You only decide who you're staying with, the others that get screwed. You don't even have the option to be single. Good art, but the plot is one of the worst of all.

Good:
Story and art are well done, the story arc has multiple directions to go in, female characters are attractive, some of the characters have some good qualities that can draw the viewer more deeply into the story or the characters themselves.

Bad:
I can't think of much of anything bad to say about it.

It's a good title that merits some replay to explore the different story arcs that are available. I haven't mined out the whole thing yet but it seems to go in the direction of a fatalistic predetermined non-herem ending.

Wonderful game! One of the best I've ever played! I was very moved by this game. They really know how to make a story, with comedy, drama, adventure and more. The only negative point I see, is that they could improve the animations, everything still looks a lot like puppet movements. I know this game is over, but they have Being a Dik and it's still the same as the animations. Improving the fluidity of the animations, they would be the best option in Renpy games, for sure!

I’m playing or have played over 70 games a few of which have completed. When I first started playing these games (DmD was my first), I simply read the description and if it looked interesting I downloaded it and started blind. As you might imagine, while it worked out well for DmD, that strategy often proved unproductive. Then I stumbled on F95zone and my approach changed.

Now I read the reviews, search through the discussions seeking feed back and have walkthroughs available as a fallback. I generally don’t play games early in their development but I watch for new games and if their reviews are compelling from players whose opinion’s I respect I will play them early. Even if I don’t use a walkthrough, I’ll often skim it to get a better sense of the structure of the game to determine it I think I’ll enjoy playing it.

Observations:
Despite the negatives expressed in this review, I want to be clear that this VN is well worth your time to play. However if you’re looking for quick fap material this is not for you.

I played this VN (it’s not really a game) a couple of months ago. I wish I could give it two rating. One star and five stars. For an adult VN the general quality of the writing is well above average. The girls are attractive. The interaction in the story is engaging and draws you in. The sex scenes are adequate, but for the most part are ancillary to the story which is the central draw. Despite a few flaws, Liam provides a nice counter point to the tone of the MC. The renders are good. If not for the issues discussed below this is easily among the best VNs available here. Hence the strong desire to give it five stars.

Unfortunately this technically proficient story and the relationships that the characters build with the reader/player are base on a complete con job on the part of the author. As of the date of the review Acting lessons has 582 reviews, for a VN that had its final release on August 12, 2019 some 14 months ago. Whether positive or negative the vast majority of the reviewer express an intense reaction to this VN. A reflection of their response to the con job. It is the response to the con job that sets up the reader/player that provides the burning desire to give this a single star and only because zero stars is not an option.

The core of the con job is a complete spoiler to the story and is discussed in the flaws below. If you haven’t played yet or read a spoiler in other reviews you’ll want to play it before you do. I recommend that you play it cold without a walkthrough.

Flaws:
Liam:
Liam is presented as a terrific best friend to the MC. This is true in someways. He looks out for the MC and attempts to keep him grounded and self aware. At the same time he hides critical information from the MC for far too long and the stunt with the tattoo leaves the reader/player wondering if DrPinkCake has any real understanding of how close friends actually treat each other. The only reason that the MC allows the tattoo is the guilt he feels over Liam’s personal circumstances. No true friend would guilt you into such a stunt, and no tattoo artist would perform that tattoo without explicitly asking you if you wanted that tattooed on a visible part of your body.

The major flaw is a meta issue between the reader/player and the author. It is discussed in the following spoiler.
Summary:
Quality game. Depending on your reaction to the spoiler you’ll either love it, hate it, or if your seeking strictly fap material not care and be generally disappointed with the whole thing.

This game has great (highly above average) story and surprisingly realistic relationships. It's still porn game, but one of those you actually play for plot. Worth to give it a shot. Also relationship with Megan is SO cute

This game ACTUALLY made me cry, it was really good, I'm not gonna spoil anything, but this is one of those adult games you HAVE to play, if you enjoy any adult VNs you owe yourself to AT LEAST try this one out

First of all forgive me for my poor English. In my opinion, in general, the game is very good with its schedule, narration, structure. The player can select girls with different images who are all very beautiful and lovely, they have different characters and this makes the game very interesting. So I give this game 5 stars.

This is "The Bad Times at the El Royale" of porn games. A perfect beginning and middle, and a trashcan fire for an end.

Even if this game ended properly it would only be middle of the road. This abomination of a game would be amazing as a visual novel. Nothing you do changes anything. You a railroaded to one ending, the same ending every time. The only thing that changes are the scenes and names, and the "optional" scenes are very obviously lacking in care and quality compared to the scenes the game forces down your throat. Making me feel like the porn aspects of the game actually detracted from the experience. I was continuously finding myself less and less aroused and more and more disappointed. Megan was 3rd to last on my list of preferred woman and the game forces you to pursue a relationship with her. You can't ever say no. And the game leads you towards a harem ending and rips it away from you while simultaneously destroying the story. Its disgusting, like M night Shyamalan disgusting. The defining traits you have suck, they are kind of balanced and really pointless, and while they provide decent enough flavor text none of those moments are any more memorable then the others and none of them alter the story... at all. Even though I hated the game, some elements were exciting enough that I wouldn't mind trying more games from this developer, but do not waste your time on this game.

A masterpiece. The story is very engaging and the characters are very charismatic. The theme of the game is very cool, the story gradually develops. The game has its "difficult" moment, but it is still extremely good. It even makes you reflect on real life.

So, to begin, I'm french, so sorry for my english if it's not correct, but I HAVE to say something about that game.

I play so many games here, and I NEVER play a game so incredible before...
It's certainly not the best game to fap or to enjoy sex scene, but for me it's the best game with the best background ever !
There is so much differents feelings.. Once you're happy and you laugh becasue of Liam, and some scene later you cry because of his situation or the past of the girls..
Furthermore, there is a moral in this game. You have to think about every decision that can hurts everybody..
I don't now if I can really appreciate the end (well if it's the end where you have to save one of the girl...) but when I play this game I just want to cry more that to fap... I'm very emotional and the 4th and 5th chapter make me feel so sad and so bad...

Finally, I recommand this game to everyone who love games with great caracters backgrounds and to everyone who love stories.
For me it's a masterpiece ! 5/5, 10/10, 100/100 and over... !

And if someone or DrPinkCake can make an ending who everybody will be happy, a happy ending to say, it will be the perfect game ever !

Such an excellent game and story! I thoroughly enjoyed the main characters and and story. I wished there was a ending to have both the main girls but I also liked how it ended as well. Thank you for such a great game!

By far one of the most interesting adult game with a real powerful twist close to the ending ,it literally made me feel really sad when i had to choose between the two girls but hey that's what makes it so special.Each of characters in this game have different background like in real life tragedy's and that its what makes it awesome because it makes you care about them you feel bad and want to help them .Overall i would definitely recommend this game just for the amazing story and character developing sex scene are not perfect i would say its more about romance in this game.

This game surprised me. I didn't know much about it when I started it up, but it certainly was not what I thought it was. I'll have to do another playthrough because the choice near the end (I actually did not get to make that choice because of the route I took) took me by surprise and I really want to do it the other way.

One of the best and most emotional games I have ever played! It took me a week to get over it. Beautiful women, interesting characters, wonderful music, realistic working hot sex scenes, romance and amazing story!

The writing is so nicely done. You see reviews mentioning it makes you think for games but this one nails it.

I almost never review games, but I feel like this one deserves it. It has easily been one of my favorite games thus far. Further, it probably is my absolute favorite, ignoring the nostalgia I feel for the first few games I played. The story is engaging. Nothing ever feels forced. It's never too slow or too fast. The renders and animations are decent. There is always something to be done. Choices/Outcomes are not too obvious. Great replay value. Also, a strong male support character is something critically lacking in many of these games and it was executed beautifully here. Excellent game all around.

I will note however, that if you are an absolute coomer and you need like multiple fuck scenes/angles/positions for every character in every episode - you're not getting that. And the sex itself is pretty vanilla so if you're a freak, it also might not be quite the right game for you. Honestly though, if you enjoy a story, it might even be good without any of the fuck scenes.

Charming a romantic thriller with realistic drama. "Not everything is perfect but if you make it best out of it, you'll make it perfect in your own way and you will cherish it forever" I think this is the message of this game, you make your own fate.

One of the best games on this site, not the best game to fap or have the best sex scenes to enjoy but have a really good story with really well written characters.
Even if you cut out the h-scenes it still would be fun to play.
Only downside is how in the beginning of the game it keeps pushing the same girl to your face, i can understand it because of the plot and how it should go but almost made me drop the game, except that this game overall a 9.5/10

Great game with amazing story.I just want to point out how great character Liam is.You really feel he is a good friend he one of the best written character but the other has great personality too .However i think there are could be more sex scenes because at the end its an nsfw game.
