Actual Roommates 2 [Ch.2] Review
Finally took the time the other night to finish Actual Roommates 1, which was of course good. My favorite ending was Jessica of all people, lol. But this is about AR2, and giving my thoughts on it. First off I love the new chapter length, this feels like 2-3x the size of chapters in AR1, and it's great. It seems while the story went with the "Harem route" as the canon ending to AR1, it feels like Rikako is the main "other mom" given she's the only one who influenced Valerie in any way which I find a little sad.
Love interest wise a bit of give and take, I really like some while one kind of rubs the wrong sometimes, but that's just me. I think my only real criticism so far in this game is that some of the love interests are route locked, so if you choose to be more like Violet, or Rikako. It will stop you from hooking up with who you are interested in, which already hit me in the game, as an Empress route player.
But yeah, I give AR2 a strong 4/5 stars, a lot of potential, a sequel that captures what made the first game good, lots of cute girls, but it does have a flaw of exclusive content that forces the player to be one way, or the other to get.
