Sorry noob question. Any effect uninstalling it like not being able to play flash games such as "Behind the Dune" ?

Afaik this only affects browsers.
If a Flash game is distributed as an .exe, you can still play it: just double-click it.
If it's a .swf file instead, get the latest official
