    The gameplay was hard and linear, but I got used to it, so it isnt "that" Hard anymore. Just hit correctly. However the jump attack needs to be fixed and struggle needs to be made easier.

    The animations are well made, especially the game over scenes. I cant wait for the next update to release.

    The graphics and art are the best thing about it by a landslide. But that's the issue.

    The gameplay? I'm gonna start by saying that you lower the settings as much as you can. it starts off fine, but enemies are SPAMMED later on. And each takes quite a few hits while you're trying not to get caught by the insta-kill wall.

    So, how to fight off the mobs? Slow AF animation frames where you can get caught mid attack. Oh, and you do need to crouch to hit some enemies or avoid a few others. You also need to slide under some vents later but that might send you flying into enemies.

    So you got caught, what do? Spam the keys to get out cause if you don't you can just get stunlocked cause more enemies showed up. And remember there's an insta-kill wall closing behind you so.... think fast!

    Seriously, there's other games with this gameplay format that did it better, and some came out YEARS ago (like Warrior Girl). This game is tedious as is and outright difficult AF if you're playing on harder settings. Just, go watch the scenes from somewhere else or grab a full save from here. As of right now, it's not worth playing.

    Getting the lewds is more trouble than it's worth.

    Animation and arstyle are great, but damn the gameplay will litteraly have you cut your balls off, it's so slow and tedious.
    Do yourself a favor watch the animation on R34 or get a full save because it's clearly not worth playing

    Summer Love

    This game is terrible because of the controls and zombie behaviour.

    Every single attack you get is virtually useless aside from the standard standing attack because the instant you come into contact with a zombie you get interrupted and "grappled". This includes in the middle-of-an-attack animation.

    Eventually you start encountering smaller zombies that require crouch attacks. No problem, right? Just hit the ol' "s" key and you'll crouch down for an attack. The problem is that sliding is 's' + 'd', meaning that if you are also moving forward you will launch into a long slide animation that the zombies of course can interrupt and immediately grapple you.

    "What do you mean the grapples are a problem, just knock them back with the A + D thing." Well, if you are able to spam those keys fast enough to fill hat bar up without giving yourself carpal tunnel, you get to knock everything around you back. If you fail, the zombies nut, you lay on the ground for 5 long seconds, you stand up, and then the next pack of zombies that were waiting in line have a go at you.

    As it is now, this game is entirely skippable. Maybe when it's completed it won't be as aggravating to play.

    Gameplay is so ass I could write an entire thesis on how bad it is on how bad it is. Artsyle is pretty good, but it feels like it was made by a single artist using Blueprints who never even launched the game and played it himself even once.

    Artsyle is nice, but "playing" the game is a huge waste of time. Download the save and view the gallery.

    The Good:
    Animations are great.

    Issues:
    -Game design and combat is terrible.
    -Short scenes.
    -Getting into a scene punishes you.

    Why make a porn game that punishes you for watching the porn?

    And why punish players for not getting defeated by making them unable to watch the porn?

    It's like the game is fighting against its own existence.

    3/5 Stars just because I enjoy the art enough but for anyone else I'd rate it a 2/5

    I give 4/5 to this because it has flaws in its current state.

    Things that need work on:
    -The fight control is still clunky;
    -There's almost no point in jumping.
    -The point in time when your character is dealing damage to enemies after you pressed the button to attack is too damn uneasy;
    -The character actions in general should be slightly quicker;
    -The current "Casual" mode is not really casual. First, there should be a 'grace time' after you have been caught so that you are not instantly grabbed by another zombie. Second, the escape "A-D" should take slightly less time to achieve. Third, the wave of zombies behind should be a lot slower. The current 'casual' mode is a normal mode, really.
    -Half of the "Exit" buttons throughout the game will actually exit the whole game rather than returning you to the main menu. Not good.
    ***
    Future features to work on:
    -Adding gallery for each separate discovered scene;
    -Adding the option to start from a certain level after you completed that level before;
    ***
    Things I liked the most:
    -Original scenes;
    -Combined scenes with two monsters.
    ***

    Keep it up! I loved the game so far.

    The animations are excellent, I especially appreciate the capture and escape sequences. The removal of the life bar is an excellent addition to the genre and allows you to use the enemies strategically rather than just constantly avoiding/killing them. The controls can be a bit wonky at times, rolling and running seem to be more difficult to successfully execute than they maybe should be, but overall the issues are minor. The characters could be a bit more varied (they all play basically the same), but they are all enjoyable. I would like the text to scroll faster in the cutscenes. Overall great effort with minor annoyances. It is the most fun I've had playing anything in the genre in a long time.

    v2025-03-06 Review Would be a 2.5 but 2 feels too low so gave it a 3.

    Eh, animations are amazing, story is whatever. Gameplay is SLOW.
    Like most of these types of games, they're mostly just glorified gallery viewers, but this one feels even more like one than most of the others because of how slow the gameplay is.

    Every animation is smooth and well animated but damn do that take like 3 seconds each. The attacks are just as long but also only have a small hit window and not large hitboxes so you'll be watching the same beautiful punch animation that takes 3 seconds to slap at enemies that take 10 punches to kill. Jump attacks and running attacks dont work because of the same long wind up not giving you invincibility frames so you just run into enemies.

    Enemy spawns are also inconsistent so some people seemed to get absolutely railed by bad spawns. I didn't get it too bad but i did have a couple instances of enemies walking towards me during short cutscenes so i restarted to being hit.

    Gallery doesn't unlock until you beat the game with both characters so be prepared for a slog. Overall, meh game. Great animations though, worth it if you're into games like Project Onyx and the like.

    This is a nice and short game with good animations and a variety of different characters. It features a fun side-scrolling experience that keeps you engaged. The game also has a surprise at the end, making it even more exciting. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Pure Onyx but wants a game with a real story, not just a gallery.

    The graphics are ok~ish, the animations are cool, but playing this shit is so fucking bad. The controls, the lack of variety in combat, the fact every single hit forces you to mash like crazy to avoid getting fuck locked and die... It's not worth your time.

    kittyamazing19

    Such a disappointment of game., the art work is great and the animation as pretty good also but that's all what's good about it.

    The combat is complete and utter garbage, it's far to slow and delayed, the layout of control are terrible and there are pointless dodge rolls which do nothing other make it easier for zombies to catch you (the jump kick is useless also).

    The game could be instantly made playable with 2 changes, double the speed of combat actions and remove the dodge rolls (so many time I've wanted to quickly crouch kick and end up rolling into the zombie resulting me face palming).

    Another annoyance is if you want to stop and come back to it later you'll have to start all the way from beginning again.

    Pros
    Great art style
    AMAZING animation
    Incredible variety of defeat animations, often incorporating multiple enemies. Watching a zombie pit bull shuck down her panties is just *chefs kiss*

    Cons
    Gameplay is tedious and repetitive. Walk right, punchpunchpunch
    Enemy variety gets very repetitive. Even some palette swaps would liven up the variety.
    I miss some of the more nuanced game elements from earlier versions that gave the gameplay a little more texture.

    Wish list:
    More female enemies, maybe even a female final boss?
    More nuanced gameplay. Quest items, puzzles, not just punching an endless zombie parade.
    Looking forward to the additional characters!

    Overall, even if you find the gameplay repetitive or frustrating, it is DEFINITELY worth a play just for the amazing art and animations. It's also refreshing to see a game on here that is an actual VIDEO GAME and not just some AI-generated slideshow masquerading as a VN.

    dogshit controls man
    no invuln frames for player ever
    shit attack wind up times
    genuinely might be the worst jump i've EVER used in a video game
    Art is fucking amazing however.
    would love to see this artist do something with renpy instead

    OnceMoreintodarkness

    lets start with the good, Artwork and animations are great for a simple side scroller.

    ok now the bad, basically everything else. My biggest gripe is the no checkpoint issue + slow speed + the character you play are practically on the same path.

    to win just walk, dont run, and do the basic attack or crouch then attack... the other attack options are just not worth it. the "QTE" to break free out of a grab is very difficult and can chain into multiple instances of grabs.
    the the person who said the QTE was fine...drink water your not supposed to be shaking that fast

    i tend to get these games on this site and if they are good i toss money to the dev after the fact and for $10 this is far too expensive for essentially a walking gallery with no variation between characters, besides the animations, so game play differences would have been nice.

    so over all 2/5 1 for the artwork, 1 for the few animations. to get higher it needs to have better combat, improved hitboxes , the QTE should be turned down and add CHECKPOINTS,

    Succubus Sasha

    List of glaring issues I ran into in order since just "it's buggy and bad" doesn't really cover it.

    First off as a very specific complaint, if you have a nonstandard aspect ratio on your monitor, you won't be able to see the whole screen. I had elements cut off cause I have a 4:3 monitor, and even changing my display settings for my computer, it still would go to a fullscreen size that doesn't fit.

    Second, the combat is awful. Run up to enemies, press space to kick. I saw there was a jump attack that knocks enemies to the ground, tried that, turns out you can't pass a knocked down enemy so it was actually slower cause while he was down can't hit him. Tried a running attack at one point, that just launched me straight into a grapple cause it registered I was touching them even while the attack was playing. So just run up and hit space.

    And finally, the lack of saves/checkpoints. Doesn't seem like a huge deal, except after each level it gives you the option to either continue or return to the main menu. While clicking through the dialogue, I accidentally hit the main menu button. No confirmation, no note of potential lost progress, I went straight to the menu and had to start all over. After that, uninstalled. This game is just plain bad, boring, and poorly designed, which is a shame cause the animations are pretty hot but not worth it.

    Fuck this game and more importantly, fuck the devs for charging 10 dollars for a buggy mess and having the audacity to say the game is complete.

    No checkpoints. No saving. Garbage hit boxes. And no way to even use the gallery without beating the game.

    Mayorto, if you're reading this review. Go fuck yourself.

    zkawai

    This is a great game, with awesome animation, artstyle, good soun, basically, I love it! BUT, there are some VERY big issues with game design.

    It needs a real overhaul to make it FUN. It is NOT fun having a floor trap followed by a ceiling trap, with 2 crawling monster coming at you at the same time. The run attack is barely usable. Its frames appear to get crawlers as well as normal monsters, but it doesn't. the wind up is too long, by the time your attack reaches the enemy, there may be a crawler on that space that interrupts your attack.

    Crawlers take 3 hits to down, and you have to wait for their "get up" animations before they're vulnerable again, leavbing you standing quite a while. Low kick is kinda crap, as sometimes you're caught mid-animation(legs already splayed out, as if the enemy should've been hit) and get fucked.

    So, basically, make attacks feel worthwhile, with ACTUAL tells as to when you'll actually hit an enemy, dont make the hit connect at some unknown point in the animation. Improve your randomizer for enemy types in order to avoid some types of enemies spawning with others(junping floor traps only to get caught by a zombie right as you land is bullshit) and take away the zombie's invulnerability window, also, 2 hits MAX for crawlers, as you're locked in a position in order to hit them, Ah, ALSO ALSO, ENEMIES THAT ARE ON THE FLOOR SHOULD BE EITHER JUMPABLE OR MADE TO BE RUN THROUGH, otherwise, you're caught in an invisible wall with a guaranteed enemy grab. NOT FUN.

    Again, I did love the story, animations, etc. They're exciting to look at, facial expressions are erotic and well drawn, enemy design, though I'd say it'd probably be best with 2/3 more enemy types, are varied and great, with a couple of variations on animations for each, cutscenes are long and well made. Everything to be a winner, except the gameplay design.

    P.S. Despite my gripes with gameplay design, I did like enemy feedback on hit, very nicely animated. If I were to make a sequel to the game, rather than a runner, I'd probably make a beat'em up. You could even reuse a lot of assets, AND most of the framework is already in place. Just need some more attacks, make the combat more fluid, and voila, COMPLETE VICTORY(even if there's no escape)

    version 2025-03-06

    animation is REALLY REALLY smooth and nice. but it's a "braindead" platformer where you can only go right. in this version there is a new character (gym teacher) her animations are much much better than blondes.

    there are a couple of enemies (and traps) each have 2 animations. some animations are really nice pornwise and qualitywise both.

    for a braindead platformer i would give 3/5 but i think this games is easily worth more.

    if you finish game with either of characters, you unlock a winning screen for each.. i dont want to spoil but that win animation is quite nice and long and sexy, you probably won't expect it playing the game.

    there is losing animation too that is nice too.

    the blond was was already decent but gym teacher one is so much better imo even just fighting animation or hitbox or sex-scenes-wise as well.

    so altogether 4/5, if it didn't have the long win animation i might have given it 3/5 but it's a quality 2d platformer even if gameplay is quite garbage. this is a porn forum anyway. (ofc nearly no story or corruption to make scenes erotic so game has to rely on art and that art is very very good and kinda saves it)

    (and btw previous reviewers say smashing a+d is too hard lol i can easily do it with 1 hand, i completed game first try, these reviewers have probably bottom 10% reflexes.)

    There's a lot of negatives more than there is positive for the game. The animation is great, but it needs to be put in the oven a bit more.

    1. The hitbox is absolute jank. The biggest upset is that the crawlers and dogs could grapple you when you are jumping (you can avoid the eel zombie by jumping, why not them?)
    2. Gameplay is really boring and too stretched out. Add point 1 to the mix, and it becomes frustrating.
    3. To gain the gallery, you need to reach the end, which consist about 5~6 stages. You fail, you start all over. I don't have problems with "perma-death", but point 1 and 2 makes it annoying.
    4. Each zombie type have multiple animation, but the gallery only shows you one animation for every zombie type. It cannot be chosen, it's not randomized. It is fixed to 1.
    5. Button mashing A and D to struggle out of the grapple is TOO HARD. The progress bar is really slow, if you want to have a guaranteed chance of struggling out, you need to use both hands. you won't even get horny enough to play with one hand anyways.

    Unless you have plenty of time to kill, avoid the game for now.
