I had that idea to check out Mastodon for a while, it looked like a cool idea from my social-network defiant eyes.
And indeed it's very cool.
With the hostility against porn related content rising from big companies and people claiming work of other as their own I felt like, we, adult game creators we would benefit from getting together and not stay isolated from each other.
So few weeks ago during a conversation with @Crackalackadingdong I just pieced the pieces together and realized that Mastodon would be a great platform for us creators to be on.
And after few days of struggle setting up the server, it's there.
The Goal
This instance's goal is to give adult game creators a place to gather, discuss and share their knowledge and experience.
Due to the nature of our games some of us tend to be isolated and vulnerable to assholes ripping our work for their own profit.
It is for these two reasons that we should gather together and help each other face the hazards along the way.
Players too ?
Players are also welcomed, if you don't feel like joining any other instance, then this one is also open to you.
Players are often the only source of support we have as creators, and support is always appreciated and helpful. So there is not much reason not to let you join this instance too.
Rules and Guidelines
This instance is hosted in France, so French law applies there.
This instance aim to be open to as many as possible under French law. That mostly means no ********** and no really nasty stuff (pro terrorism and crimes against humanity), pretty much the usual.
But about subject like kink shaming and other heated arguments, the moderation is to be lax without being absent.
