I put together a survey that I think could be very helpful for devs to understand their audience.

Kind of interesting how balanced the "big breast vs small breast" factions are in the survey but in games its an overwhelming victory for big breasts lul. Still it's on the low side of data so that may be why, that or the current small breast market would be a good one.

Not sure how this is going to help devs produce "better content": if you just get an aggregated average of the results, it will just show you which niches are most popular. It's up to the devs to up their game and produce better games.

I'm enjoying the results as well. I've been monitoring it hourly just because good data is like porn to me haha. It's almost at 500, I'm hoping to break 1000! That would be a decent enough sample size and I've read science studies with less.

Well, I can tell you how it helps me at least. As a solo dev trying to tell a story, the survey results are helping me understand what areas of development need more priority as well as which direction I could expand my story in. Maybe the niches are not 100% useful, but a lot of the other answers have been very helpful.

I think that even if a dev chooses to do their own thing, data like this is still worthy to at least take a look at. After all, we're making content for other people to enjoy, not just ourselves.

MIght wanna reword the "I like to play AS the character and see their perspective" question, as in its current form its somewhat confusing, so something like:

1) I like to play as a well defined, premade character that already has its own predispositions, thus enjoying the ride of following this character's adventure.
2) I like to play as a generic character, from the 1st person perspective where I can easily self-insert and roleplay as myself, opitionally with a meaningful selection of choices of how to behave.
