Looking for visual novel games similar to the styles of Being a DIK, College Kings, Broken Dreamers, etc. that focus on a female player experience instead of male, or at least allow the main character to be a female. My girlfriend recently took an interest in adult visual novels but wanted a game she could connect with a bit better as a woman.

I don't know what she'd enjoy, but I can point to these search settings and GGGB for starters. A lot of these types of games are about the MC cheating, but you can filter those out if you want.

Maybe Our Red String? Its from the creator of GGGB above ^ and the developer is a female, so I imagine the female POV will resonate more with your girlfriend.
