A little advice for every game dev:

you'd better NOT release your game's update on the very same weekend DrPinkCake releases a BaDIK update.

I don't think I should explain why :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:

Honestly, I'm not joking.

There are tons of games here.

If I were a dev, I'd check which are the most downloaded/popular games and I'd make sure that my game's updates never come out on the same weekend as them.

I think more accurate advice would be don’t try to compete with a “blockbuster” game unless you think you can. Studios don’t release superhero movies against each other, but they might release a niche drama or horror movie because not everyone wants to watch superheroes that weekend.

The interests and community are large and varied enough that the release of one game's update should barely impact another game (if at all) on a pirate website. Especially since most of devs have a subscription model of some kind rather than charging the players for the individual updates/releases like a dlc or expansion.

I'd only suggest avoiding dropping something on the same day as something else if your game has some sort of strong commonalities with the other title. Like, don't release COD and Battlefield on the same day. But if you're releasing Fruit Ninja, then what day COD drops doesn't matter at all.
