A lot of things but the main is lighting and global illumination: set up a proper light sources to produce correct contact shadows and giving the scene more realistic feel overall. Seems like DAZ renders, so check the render settings there, the newer versions have iRay (last time I checked), which can give really good quality when set up correctly. Play with the scene at lower resolution first (render times can get long with multiple lights) but the end results will look much better.

What I try to do with my renders is turn off all lights in my scene and use spot lights or mesh lights to iluminate the scene, but in a scene with many characters it is difficult to have a spot light on all characters. In that case I would use an HDRI to light up the scene, then use indiviual lights on specific subjects to iluminate them better.
