I AM a game developer, thats why Im commenting on this.
Most people complaining think they are game experts (and not just about AI), this is why I said " the game development process " Unless you guys were actually standing in the room or in some form communicating with the dev / dev's as they made the games, claiming "it's low effort or lazy" has no basis.
Most new dev's first games are not good and comparing them to dev's who've been working on a game or games for years and have gained experience under their belt is a cheap shot.
Again I know "no one force me" to play those games, but I have the impression that lately most of the games are AI games
YOUR "impression" is wrong, YOUR impression could easily be fact checked by YOU and YOU could adjust YOUR impression.
It would be pretty quick and easy...

Games tagged ai cg don't even come close to making up half of the games added lately, so they definitely DO NOT make up MOST. You guys with your "gives the impression" or "seems like" or "feels like" or "looks like" have all the information at your finger tips and all the tools needed to find and see that information.
There is NO excuse to go around bad mouthing things when you guys are unwilling or too lazy to fact check what you are saying. Of course if you guys did do that, you'd find almost all your arguments up in smoke and all you'd be left with is "because you don't like it"
I mean having the character designed and the source file to modify and edit animations, movements, poses, etc. Not just an AI image that then you will ask another ai to make it move, i mean the way games use to be made, with sources and real work, not with a prompt.
Are you talking about the original games that were ONLY made with a prompt?
Are you talking about the games where artists used e-pens to create all their characters?
Maybe you are talking about games where dev's took 3d models from other artists and used them with a GUI to edit animations, movements, poses, etc.
Maybe you are talking about the games where dev's took character made in another games studio and again used a GUI to edit animations, movements, poses, etc.
Are YOU creating ALL your games the same way they were first made? Using nothing but a prompt and code? or are you using new tools that have come out over the years to make the work easier? and if you are using the tools that came out over the years, what makes you ANY BETTER than the dev's using new tools now to make their games?
You guys are quick to complain but you quickly forget your way of doing things is NOT the original way, yet you still feel the need and the right to look down on the dev's now.
