The first tattered page seems to confuse me greatly. It's entirely possible I'm just a certified dumbass. I'm using: Quartz, Water, Herb, and Slime Jelly and I'm just getting goop. Unless Cuppe of Blue is some other shit that I'm too dumb to understand, then I don't know where I'm going wrong.

How do you make the Strength potion required ?
The strength potion was only an example for one kind of Homunculus. It's meant to convey the idea that other kinds of potions can be used to make other kinds of Homunculi.
There's a potion that Mina uses quite a lot, more than any other potion. That one would probably make the most useful servant for her!

This game is probably the best out of HTML-based projects on f95, and the AI art is well done. But, IMO the plot goes to the H-stuff way too fast.

Presence of the "Lewdness" stat would suggest that the fem protag is initially not too keen on f-ing everything but slowly gets more and more comfortable with lewd stuff . It also gives an impression that the game can be played while keeping it at minimum (i.e. "virgin" playthrough)

Yet, the hardcore perverse scenes (monster, tentacles etc) are available from the start and are REQUIRED to progress the plot (slime). Also, the content does not account for the "Lewdness" stat - dialogues are mostly the same whether femprotag has 0 lewd or 999.

As a dev myself, here's my five cents: The main gameplay loop is all about experimentation and slowly discovering something new. Therefore adding gradual progression will really shine.

Example: Handjobs->Blowjobs->Non-penetrative sex->Fucking

Make it so that heroine starts with handjobs out of necessity (i.e to get the alchemy ingridients) The dialogue should reflect that. At some point she could choose to switch to BJs (to increase the "harvest" amount). Eventually she gets curious and wants to try dry humping, after which she will have sex option unlocked, then group sex, then... you get the idea.

As for the ingredients necessary to progress the main plotline - always keep the NON-H option to gather . Easy non-linearity.
You already have this feature (sort of) with the plant scene, but the rest of the content has no gradual progression.

Thank you for the high praise! I certainly don't think I'd consider this little project the best of the HTML games floating around on this site, but I really do appreciate that you think so!

As for the advice, while I do appreciate that as well I think we're just coming at this from two different perspectives. Mina is, unapologetically, a lewd individual. She enjoys fucking and I think if I ever go back and polish the intro I'd like to make that a lot clearer from the start. The Lewd skill isn't there to show that she's progressively getting more lewd, it's there to represent her skill at being lewd, just as the other skills represent her capabilities in those fields.

I don't think I'll ever do a "virgin" route as it were. The non-H options for gathering will probably remain relatively limited. This is why I've implemented the tags and the ability to hide scenes and images in the repeatable actions. If there's a particular brand of depravity a player doesn't like, they don't have to see it.

Absolutely fine if this is the vision for the game and characters. Just thought that if that is the case, this game about experimentation would certainly miss out in the character development area and the playability will be reduced (effectively one, very linear way game can be played).

Anyway, this is my (limited) opinion. Keep going with whatever future plans you've got for the game!

Alright so to start with, sorry for the long delay on this one. I've been slowly chipping away at the next big update with the new area, which means new ingredients and new potions, but I'll admit some of the manic motivation I had at the start of this project has started to wane a little. And with a certain big game I'm very interested in coming out in the next few days I'll probably have less time for development as well.

With that in mind I've decided to put this small update out with a few scenes and some fixes for mobile users.


Version 0.10
  • I've added some notifications on the Journal page that will show up if you haven't discovered the recipe associated with a given entry.
  • Played around with the UI some more. When viewed on a vertical phone screen things will move around that should hopefully make the game more playable.
  • Speaking of phones, there's now an apk available for android users. Saves should be transferable between this and the html version if you export and import them.
  • Added a link to a discord I've set up. This is very much an experiment. If it proves to be too distracting then I'll get rid of it haha
  • New scene with Allaya this time! You'll be able to go down her route once you've made your first Homuncutie. Being an adventurer, her scenes will revolve around exploring the magical critters that are out there in the wild.
  • New scene with both Philia and Beth! You get the opportunity to chat with the ladies about this after you've seen Beth's second scene and Philia's third scene. I might go back and add an image to this one later but I don't know. Getting it do what I want lately has been a real headache.

Not really, that is a very obscure reference. You would really have to be into studying fungi to get that reference. I only know it because my brother grows a bunch of different verities of mushrooms, both for general consumption and a few for "special" consumption.

In the grocers where I live mushrooms are labelled as either cups or flats, so I didn't think it was that obscure. Maybe it's a regional thing?

Homunculus Creation is a bit more involved.
1: Finish all outstanding tasks for the library.
2: Read Homunculus Creation.
3: Create Allure Potion. An option to add Greenthorn Bark appears in the list. Do it, and fill bottles with "Alluring Base."
4. Create Homunculus Stone. Create 4 to save time.
5. Go to pit (a speech bubble should be next to the option).
6. Create potions, then dump them into the pit. Do this until options appear in the pit.
7. Repeat until you create all four Homuncuties.
8. Enable automation for free resource collection.
9. Visit each of the four areas and look for the option to see what your girls are up to for the scenes.
Note: Each homuncutie has four images, three of which are in their respective areas. I suspect the dev will add a new homuncutie for each new area in future updates.

Loved the game! It got me invested so bad in it that i forget about time, very good work you did there.
I don’t know others suggested this but, if you can add a galley where we can see what scenes we unlocked and what is remaining (locked) so that we know if we catch everything else or still scenes left out we missed
(Probably so that i know that i reached the end of this version of the game)

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
And what you're looking for already exists! It's the Memories screen accessible on the Home screen. At the moment it lets you look at any scene you've already seen over again, and also shows how many scenes you haven't seen. It doesn't show you where they are at this stage, that might be a function I include later on.

Must be, never saw that in a grocery store here in the US. They are just labeled as their common names, like portabella, shitake, oyster, porcini, enoki, etc.
