Hey guys,

it's time to talk about the next update and why this one will be so special in many cases.


New Content and Story Progression

First of all, you will see how the girls will deal with the new threat that appeared at the end of the last game version. To take on the new enemy, new mechanics will find their way into the game, providing a more indepth experience. It will get a bit harder, but also much more satisfying to watch. And it comes with a very cool finish!

Additionally, the remaster version is going to break several records along the way. I don't want to spoiler it yet. And yes, of course it will get dirty, very dirty, as the story goes on. But that's for you to find out yourself...or better yet, the girls will find out first hand.


Alright let's talk about the elephant in the room...

GIVEAWAY REVEAL (Introduction)

For this one I need to explain a few things beforehand, to make it easier for you to understand, because it's a long time coming.

While working on the last update, I already had several things in mind. Which is one reason why the grotto scene ended up way bigger as I first had intended. The other reason is of course, well...I always get so many ideas while working on the game, that I often end up trying to implement them ALL into the game. Of course it takes more time and means more work for me, but on the flip side also much more content for you guys, which is great.

With the giveaway in mind, I wanted you to spend more time with the twins, to get to know them better and to give them more screentime, as well as all the other girls in the scene.


And there is a good reason for it...

With v0.19 Final, more extra content will find it's way into the game. This content is normally premium exclusive, because it doesn't fit into the game story and characters behave slightly differently to allow more hardcore content earlier on in the game.

I'm sure most of you are aware of that by now and have already played the premium teaser or better yet, the premium version itself (with several hours of such content).

Now to the giveawy content itself.

In v0.19 Final, I will implement two more premium scenes into the game. And one of them will be completely free, available in the standard version of the game (marked as premium content).

Which one that is, well that is completely UP TO YOU =)


GIVEAWAY - Choice 1

Twins on Patrol - (Orc Ambush and Sex Scene)

This is an alternative path and completely different from what is going to happen in the original story. Now with the grotto scene in mind and knowing more about them, it should be easier for you to decide if you want to see more of the twins.


GIVEAWAY - Choice 2

Alenja and Yorik - (Daydream Sex Scene)

Now this is something completely new. Daydream sequences are usually just build on images alone and a characters dirty thoughts. Well, not anymore, this one will be the first animated daydream sequence ever and it comes with a hardcore sex scene.


Conclusion

- Two new premium scenes will come to the game
- One of them will be added to the standard version
- YOU decide which of the two will be added for free (Vote)

Yeah and which the decision for that scene based on a poll oh wait that's also behind paywall for having the option on viewing to see the choices for the poll to be decided on so really on that standard edition add-on poll should be for those that play the standard edition on this thread.

It's not behind paywall. You just need to create a Patreon account to vote.

Twins on patrol is winning and it was an actual premium scene in the original game. The other one is a custom made animation that I paid for long time ago.

Hey guys,

I want you to know what has happened recently...



About a week ago, my PC did crash and I faced a blue screen. After several restarts and working my way through the bios (which didn't help), I tried to get into the recovery settings, which wasn't possible as well. Of course the more I did run out of options, the more I was flying into panic mode. If I can't get at least all my data saved, I'm completey screwed.

With no more options left, I decided to call the repair service. Luckily he was coming by the same day and we began to save whatever we could.

Long story short, the good news is that, despite I have lost several hundred Gigabyte of my data, I was able to save all data belonging to my game, Alenja's Adventures. And by a country mile this is the most important part.

Nonetheless, the only solution left was to completely reformat the harddrive, removing windows and all data left on it and then set up the system as new.

Which means whatever is gone, is completely gone and I can only hope I don't face any trouble in the future, when I realise I forgot to backup something important before we did reformating the harddrive.

The thing is, the repair service is very expensive and with every hour gone by it got even more expensive. To be more precise, saving several hundred Gigabyte via USB takes a lot of time, which means the longer it takes, the more I have to pay the service man from money that I don't have. Because of that I needed to priorities which data to save. And of course, the project is right up that list.

Since then I'm busy reinstalling all the stuff that I need for work. Despite the 3D programm itself, I also need to re-download and reinstall all the 3D assests I have bought over the years. And of course many other programms as well, like Photoshop and stuff. All of that takes a lot of time.

So the conclusion is, I have lost around a weeks time, several hundred euros to pay the repair service and a lot of of nerves along the way.

I still face some smaller issues here and there. Things that I need to work on the game. Many of those issues aren't that big of a problem, but they still take time to solve.

For instance, I do a lot of post production to get the very best out of every render. What you guys see is just the end product, which is often day and night in comparison to what the untouched render looks like. Especialy things like artefacts, noise or clipping issues are very time consuming to get rid of. And because all of those things are individually and differ from render to render, they need to be taken care of by hand.

But enough of that, I don't want to digress too much.



So lets end this post with some good news, if you will.

Despite ALL this trouble above, I was able to save all the games data, my system is now running again, and all the smaller issues I still have, I'm confident to solve going forward.

Now to the most important part for you guys.

It's a bit too soon to give you an exact release date for the next update, BUT I can confidently say that, if there aren't any big unforseen issues happen, I will release v0.19 Final in the first half of april. Sorry that it takes a bit longer this time around. I wish I could speed things up :/

Hi, I don't want to be a WISE GUY, but it's generally a good idea to separate one's data from an operating system. If one can't afford for a separate disk it's at least good idea is to have a separate partition on your drive for system and data.
Recently I've also run into problems with my Windows system. As it was an upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10, none of the installation images allowed me to preserve my data on the windows partition. Fortunately I had most of my data on another disk.
As you have quite fresh installation, maybe it's a good moment to do a such reorganization.
And of course if you decide to follow my advise, make a backup of your data ;-)

Not to mention, that it's also a good practice to have a backup device and have scheduled backups, but that's requires additional cash for such device. (on the other hand portable drives does no cost much. It doesn't have to be a SSD drive);-)

No problem, you are welcome ;)
But the thing is, I already did all that. Otherwise everything could have been far worse.

The problem is that Daz Studio doesn't allow you to outsource ALL data to another harddrive. So the application itself with the essential 3d data and also all the project files are still saved on my SSD (where the system is). Everything else (3d assests and stuff) are placed on my HDD (my data harddrive).

The application and the 3D assests are replaceable, but the project files are not. They are the life and soul of everything related to the game. Without them, everything I have every worked on would be gone.

And yes, I also have one extern with a backup, but that's a few months old, because I only do backups manually.

Alright guys, everything is looking good now. I faced some issues along the way, but I were able to fix them. So now I can confirm that v0.19 Final will be released within next week.

ATTENTION PLEASE, because this time around there is a lot more Additonal Content coming with the update and I want to let you know upfront where to find it (because it's spread all over the game).

  • This was once a Premium only scene that I give out for free
  • Where to find:
  • Right after Alenjas Awakening scene has ended (after she and Deborah getting the new outfits), I added an option to choose which scene you want to play (the Original one with Regan and Beitris or the Premium Bonus Scene with Maili and Mairi)
3) First ever Animated Daydream Sequence in the game (A highly detailed Sex Scene with Alenja and Yorik)
  • This one is for Premium Members (as a compensation for the free giveaway Bonus Scene with Maili and Mairi which is now added to the Standard Version)
  • Where to find:
  • At the Cave Entrance very early in the game (after the Alenja / Dryad Scene)


More details down below...

SUMMARY FOR v0.19 Final REMASTER (STANDARD VERSION):
- Overall improved in quality and slightly enhanced
- New Record for Numbers of Characters on the Screen (Over 30)
- Ironed out several issues from the original scene (missplaced shadows etc.)
- Added new transitions and a few more sound effects to the mix
- Update adds 2-3 New Scenes / Subscenes to the game:

1) One continues the Original Story (Regan/Beitris on Patrol)
  • This Scene will come to an end in this update
  • Contains 25 Animation Videos (Sex Scene with different Paces / Camera Angels)
  • New Battle with new mechanics and a VERY COOL finish
    > Don't give up, it seems harder than it actually is. You will understand during the fight
  • New Bonus Images to unlock (with many Additional Renders)
2) The other one is an Alternate Bonus Scene (Maili/Mairi on Patrol)
  • Completely different from the Original Path
  • A shorter but also very lewd fleshed out story
  • Contains 15 Animation Videos (Sex Scene with different Paces / Camera Angels)
  • Also comes with an Alternate / Secret Story Ending
  • It contains many lewd Bonus Images to unlock
- Over 2200 Lines of Code have been added
- More than 250 Sound Effects are now in the game

General Game Improvements:
- Additional Proof Reading for older Content

3) Added A New Exciting Daydream Sequence [ANIMATED]
  • Completely NEW (wasn't in the original game)
  • This was an Individual Request made by one of my patrons for privat use only
  • Nobody has seen this one yet, not even other premium members
  • Now this exclusively made scene is added to the game for all premium members to enjoy
  • This is the first ever animated Daydream Sex Sequence in the game
  • It features Alenja and Yorik in a highly detailed Sex Animation (at the cave entrance)
  • Including Yoriks naughty thoughts and life-like Sound Effects for immersion
