[Patreon Version 12/3/24]
At this moment, not worth the time, effort, and certainly not the money. Would give it 0 stars if I could.
The game seems specifically designed to waste as much of your time as it possibly can.
Gameplay involves slowly wandering around a maze-like set of rooms to find and activate an uncertain amount of objects until the game gives you a marker to return to the hub.
In 2 hours of gameplay the only H content I've seen is the intro cutscene.
Side note but the intro is pretty much an epileptic death trap with how much color flashing and chromatic aberration there is. Seriously that needs to be toned down.
English is very clearly not the developer's first language, most to all of the text dialogue in the game is very clunky and may throw you off if you don't take a second to think about what it's trying to say.
Seems modelling isn't their strength either, as every asset in the game was just ripped straight from the UE store.
Now the biggest problems with the gameplay.
You'll be wandering until you find an object which isn't marked or highlighted without a map and in the dark. The flashlight provided to you has such terrible range and brightness the game doesn't even bother telling you it's there. (Press L.)
The movement is some of the worst I've personally played with in a while. Your walk speed is so abysmally low you NEED to be sprinting to make any significant distance. But the catch is the stamina recovers so slowly you will have time to contemplate just quitting and playing something else. I found out bunny hopping is possible if you start just before you run out of stamina, but the rooms are so cramped and the doors take so long to open you'll barely get any use out of it.
Key objects, doors, and some walls will just vanish and pop into existence depending on your distance from them. Seriously a terrible thing when the entire game is based on finding things.
No save system I could see, if your game crashes or you close it for whatever reason, sucks to be you I guess!
Settings menu doesn't seem to change anything besides the window size. No volume setting either.
If you want to wander a maze while actually having H content to sink your teeth into, give Hunted on Eclipse-9 your time instead of this.
