Others Completed All RPG Maker Games not working (FIXED)

For some reason all of my installed RPGM games are stuck moving to the same position (Left and Up). Also the same buttons that are stuck don't work so for example I cant move up in menus or go left.

I've tried unplugging and replugging my keyboard, i've tried to uninstall and reinstall RPGM but no dice. I have no idea what could be causing this. I installed a local .reg file from here and that could be the cause but I don't know enough on how it works to actually know if that's the reason for the controls to be weird.

If you all can help me that would be great, I would hate to have to fully reset my PC because I cant play my favorite RPGM games

Do you have any other input device like a gamepad? If so, unplug those as well and reboot your pc.

No I don't have another input device plugged in and nothings connected through Bluetooth.

But according to your two videos, you can go down and right. If the buttons were actually stuck, the keyboard stack would be filled with a tons of up and left. Therefore, each time you would try to go down or right, in menus by example, you would be immediately be sent back to the starting position.

So, I don't know what cause your issue, but it's not strictly speaking keys that are stuck.

It's a reg file for an Unity game, and that only impact that game, so no, it can't be the cause.

Especially since there's no guaranty that it would solve your issue.

try unplugging all the other peripherals (mouse, webcam, printer, etc.). if that doesn't help, try disabling some input or unused stuff in device menager (keep one of the input devices available to reenable the rest, repeat with that device disabled and another enabled)

Yeah exactly why I am so confused, this bug seems to only affect the movement instead of menus. There is a strange thing where whenever I do boot up a RPGM game the menu automatically scrolls up but then doesn't let me move up nor left as previously stated.

Hey that worked! For some reason the headphones I own cause the game to move by itself even though this is the first time ive ever seen it do that. Thanks for the help!
