VN - Ren'Py - Alpha Omega [v0.4.1] [EzyGames]

First and foremost reason i like this game, is because it has a black protagonist, which is pretty rare around here.

The renders are very fine and the characters look most unique, especially the tall ass blonde girl.

The dialogue is good, but i think it can be better, there are some cheesy lines here and there .

Overall the game is great, especially the answer system, hope that will mold the personality of the MC in the future.

The renders are differents from usual in a good way. There is effort made in the scene to make it lively.

The story seems interesting event if it's only the beginning. We already know the personalities of the characters and there are pretty cliché. The childhood friend, the strong woman with a golden heart, the exentric and sex oriented because we are in a sex game, and finally, the nemesis douchebag
who's probably not that bad deep down.
In overall, the scenes and the dialogue make me feel like the story takes place in some kind of sitcom. The game doesn't take itself too seriously.

The graphics are good. But the characters are inconsistent and weird. Their behaviour is unnatural and does not seem genuine (which is not a good thing for a VN that says it is a story centric one and not a huge fuckfest)(for example the dev portrays Natasha as a liberal woke girl but it just seems like she's just trying to seem like that and is not actually one). It feels like all the characters are actually just bad actors trying to play that character. The premise and setting feels dumb and the story is not much better up until now. The dialogue is bad and very drawn out. What can be said in 1 line takes 5 for some reason. Also felt that the game is trying to be unnecessarily woke in places where it does not need to be.

Putting aside the cringey grandstanding about not showing hardcore porno and being "story-driven", I actually did enjoy reading some parts of this. The characters are kinda forced but still feel real and their interactions make sense.

Woke liberal valkyrie, special needs Harley Quinn cosplayer, a black guy (that's us!), and a white guy become an improbable group of friends at a college for MMA fighters - that's basically the story from what I gleaned in my chronically ctrl-ed playthrough. It's new to say the least, and the execution isn't doomed from the start like in most porno gaems. Gfx and anims are pretty good, 3.5-4 out of 5.

Overall I'm giving it a 4/5 just to offset the reviews of all the sensitive souls who are sad about a black 3d model in a porno gaem. I'll check back in a year and edit my review to reflect how it stands at that hypothetical stage of development.

Advice to dev - cut out the snarky intro. You won't get any awards for not putting too much porno in your porno gaem. Have a clear artistic vision instead of defying expectations and the rest of that bullshit.

Game is off to a great start in my opinion, really like the render style, environments look great and refreshing, characters are good, MC is 1 of the more likeable MCs i have seen in games so far and thats a big plus in my book already, really looking forward for more Natasha and hopefully a bromance with Joe, great selection of music, as for the story i cant say much yet since its in the beginning stage but its solid so far, hopefully the game has a bright future ahead and if its ever coming out on Steam its def gonna be a buy for me.

Amazing Quality in a world of copied Assets and mediocre storys. The rooms the lighting and the sound is very well made. It is very refreshing to see handmade characters that are not the standard Genesis 8-9 model and face expressions that sometimes look real. No Sex for now but I'm waiting for more.

Man posted a "dating sim" on a porn site. Send this to steam not F95. Story is meh, characters look good except the pink haired girl who constantly looks "simple". Dialog is a bit stumpy with weird pacing and a few flat jokes. Reads kinda like a parody a la "Not another teen movie"

It is an interesting project, the quality of the renders is above average, technically it is well done, the writing is fine, but the character design is a big no for me, and it's not because the MC is african american, is the design in general, the MC looks too mundane (maybe it's part of the story, it starts as a nobody and physically becomes something different), the female characters are not attractive, especially Liliana, she is horrible in every way, the blonde looks like she hulk's sister, etc.

Positive, many things, beyond the designs, clean renders, the scenes are well done, the lighting is quite good, the expressions of the characters, the camera angles, the UI, the music, etc.

I think that the most difficult thing this developer does quite well, but the most "easy" and important, he overlooks it, it is a VN, the player wants to feel identified with the characters, both the MC and the secondary ones, I do not feel identified with the MC and the possible love interests do not attract my attention at all.

I recommend downloading it and reading this VN, 100%, the fact that it has not finished calling my attention, does not mean that this project does not have potential, there is a lot of work and effort involved
