Ren'Py - Altered Destiny [v0.14.2b] [ICCreations]

90% of the animations are there just to bloat the size of the game and show a big number in the change log. but most of them are pretty bad and most importantly useless. the dev should stop wasting time with these meaningless animations and focus on the important stuff since the time between updates is already too long.

For me, one of the best porn games, it has everything: a captivating story, good incest, and a system that entertains you. I really look forward to each update to see what's new. I hope the creator keeps updating it as much as he does.

For the longest time I've always referred Altered Destiny as "ICCreations other game" since I hold his main game FILF in high regard, and mostly been avoiding AD due to lack of sex scenes. Fast forward to summer 2025 AD now feels like 'a game with enough content'. So, here I am.

Altered Destiny takes place in present time (I think) where the MC (who you might as well call him Dumbfuck McGee) accidentally discovers an artifact which has the ability to alter events from the past should he choose to.

In principal the story is easy to follow, very similar to Timestamps, but unlike Timestamps MC knows what he has to do when he goes back to the past. Thing is the game is not clear exactly when the timeline takes place. We know it's 20 years earlier, so I guess it takes place in the year 2000

Would've made more sense if it took place in the early 90s, or the 80s, but after v.0.12 I still have no idea based on the game's surroundings. The person's death who MC is trying to prevent happens to be Olivia (his aunt).

We meet Olivia in a game center in the year 2000, supposedly. As a millennial I can confirm this place still existed along with arcades although business was starting to decline at this point.

To advance the story with Olivia you are forced to play a mini-game. It is annoying, and you can't skip it. This also applies to all of them

Later on after many sidetrack adventures MC was able to save Olivia, and gets rewarded with sexy time. Good news is the sex scenes are fap worthy. Bad news is in the heat of climax she begs him to remove the condom, and he ends up blowing his load inside of her

Story gets altered. Oh joy . Not much happens after that. Just advancing your status with all the characters in the game.

In the whole game you are stuck with your female BFF Kim who also happens to be the least attractive female in the game, and is a suspected lesbian towards the MC's sister, and his mother who she made out with in the past. What a hypocrite smh

Unlike Kim the rest of the characters are total smoke-shows loaded with big breast, big asses, and fuckable bodies of various shapes. They have good facials during sexy time, but ICC really should add some bounce to them. I mean yeah there's a bit of it, but it's hardly noticeable.

There is music in this game. Thing is most of it comes from FILF. Speaking of FILF yes the Harpies are in the game, and Courtney (well...her body) makes a cameo in the game along with the porn staff from FILF.

Story gets a bit boring near the end. I ended up skipping most of the Kim scenes, while the school scenes & fortune telling scenes also dragged I was mentally checked out by then. FYI as of v.0.12 total game time is about 5+ hours. Add an hour if you don't mind reading or dealing with the sandbox stuff. It is noticeable, but not too bad. I've had WAY worse.

- no NTR (don't think there ever will be either)

- spelling/grammar not an issue

- timeline fuckery (not over the top like Timestamps)

Verdict: Download it. If the onus is mainly here for the sex scenes then there's a decent amount of fap fuel to reach fulfillment. Grab a save file then good to go
In terms of story I found it ok overall. It's a porn game, not a romance novel.

Poorly average.

Too much dialogue, and the sandbox is one of the most annoying part. Renders is okay-ish to good to downward bad so yeah its not consistent in my opinion, animation is average but it still nice.

Sex scenes is subpar.

Story is average but it become boring later in the game, all characters is forgettable and I got no interest to any LI in this game. The dev did his/her best to make the story interesting but it's not for me.

First I would just like to shit on this dev for having a weird height thing, I'm assuming he himself is also real short. Why are the women the same height as MC when they're all 18 but much taller in their late thirties? I'm no doctor but I know for a fact that's not how that works.

Anyways, to the meat of this review. Besides the weird height fetish the dev has this story is fuckin great. The sexy time scenes are phenomenal. The mini games are actually fun and not frustrating. You can even turn them off if you want.
Time travel, college, wincest, and amnesia VNs are abundant and a bit overplayed. So it's really nice when someone can come along and tell a genuinely fun and entertaining story that keeps the player hooked. I've had this one on my list for a while but just got around to it and I'm so glad I did.
MC discovers an artifact that let's himself go back in time and adjust things, not for himself, but for the betterment of those that he loves. He also fucks most of those loved ones, past and present. Juicy story and great renders. I would've given it 5 stars if it weren't for the height thing.

The game has really nice looking models with really exciting story. The game has variety of characters with quirks and personality of their own which I really liked very much. Unlike other sandbox games the story is linear and not confusing. It has really good animated scenes. Keep up the good work.

After a long time, finally, a story hooked me. It's goofy, weird, as well as serious and enjoyable. The LI's are all good-looking and have an appeal of their own. Nice personality and lovable character. Sandbox is not grindy and properly conveys important tips. This is the kind of sandbox I like. No pontless grinding.
Excluding the model for the MC, I have nothing major to complain about.
But I can ignore the MC model as well. I know how hard and rare it is to get a good-looking male model in DAZ.

Its an very nice game. It has a very interesting concept of time traveling, renders are also very good looking plus dev is improving his skills by each passing day. You should also play his other games. In this one as of 06/04/2025 has lots of content already. I like all of the characters and the story. Don't be too hard on dev what he is creating is based on his imagination and from that imagination how much perfectly he could create something for us. Just enjoy it ^^

The story is a really interesting premise and I like all of the characters.. except the MC. He is... just a fucking asshole. a reactionary whiny, stupid, lazy, uninteresting, snarky with no right to be... dickhead. Rewrite him and the game would quadruple in quality.

The girl models are excellent with nice models for the most part, but there are downsides.

It's laggy as heck so you end up NEEDING to press skip to counter it, but then you end up missing stuff.

The main thing that makes this drop from ok to poor - asshole minigames all over the place. There's even a setting for this because obviously it is well known how much people hate this crap - yet the setting does NOTHING

There's a bunch of monster scenes. I think content like that is trash but I guess some like it. Wasn't bad enough to affect my rating, but worth mentioning.

Think I've gotten to the end of the content at this moment. Sooo right now, i like the premise. The idea of an mc jumping back and forth through time to interact mainly with his family is really neat, along with seeing other adults (mainly the females of course) younger.

Pros

Cons:
While not the worse, I hate the MC's model. His face looks like he's 50 while he's got the body of a 15 yr old but is 19.
Alot of the facial expressions can look kinda bad.
I'm up for slow burns but the story overshadows the sexual content quite a bit
Game is a little too dialogue heavy and not engaging enough to keep me interested (personally)
While im cool with a game with free roam, alot of it seems pointless as of yet.
Features are allowed before they have an actual point like interacting with your family before there's really any reason for it.

PROS:

1. Very good looking models overall and a decent looking MC that actually looks like a young man and not some baby face.
2. Written quite well, good over structure.
3. Story is not entirely new, the Timestamps games did this kind of thing before and in a way also better, that being subjective though. Overall its always fun to see a story that fucks with time and the cause and effect.
4. Visually the game looks damn good, some sexual renders are better than other, some look a bit washed out, too bright and others better. This however is not often but something I did see once or twice.
5. Sounds are not bad, music is better than rest of the sounds,
6. UI and interactions with the world are surprisingly not bad, I hate sandbox however and find it a waste of time but I get why its done this way. It is done well. I do appreciate the efforts gone into it.
7. Animations are great,I also like the small animations of characters and the world like the speakers from radio, small things but nice and great effort.

CONS:

1. While sounds are decent there are not much when it comes to sexual lewd content which is a bit disappointing.
2. The MCs best friend is highly annoying and only detracts from the MCs real goal and that is to save his family.
3. At the same time the MC also is annoying with his ability to cockblock himself.
4. Frustrating having some characters in free roam world still have no dialogue options and they only act as placeholders...
5. Amount of content I feel is OK, but should be more, hell the game should be completed by now.

FINAL THOUGHTS & SUGGESTIONS:

• The MCs "best friend" is not exactly an interesting character or a character I would regard a friend at all, I believe her intentions are mostly self serving and she clings to the MC out of her own insecurities and other bullshit. Her actions are highly annoying as much as she is and she is overbearing and selfish in that, that her actions while they seem noble/altruistic always play to her advantage like some long game she is playing and using the MC, that is my impression of her at the moment, it may change but I personally don't like her at all and she kinda kills the mood of the game for me.
• As per above point, while I generally approve of the MC and he is trying to do the right thing most of the time, it can cut both ways when he prevents himself from actually getting much action. This is after all an adult VN, so it does get frustrating when the MC gets cold feet despite being obviously some pervert with kinks too. This was my experience, however I have not completed the current version so it may change.
• While I feel overall very positive of the game, I am frustrated that the game has some much missing still considering its original launch date. Yes I can appreciate that people build and develop these games with much less than a normal studio, I do feel that these games become overly ambitious and never gets done or end abruptly. Perhaps it would be best to split these kinds of games into several games rather than drag one game out but never get to experience much. Its as if this game keeps on wanting to become more and better but never gets there and when it finally does its pretty much done. I hope I am mistaken in this instance, but this is my opinion and im sticking to it.
• A decent quest log or system that indicates there is still content to play and what would be nice instead of jumping from timelines and fast forwarding time to unlock new events, another bullshit thing about sandbox.
• This game has a HUGE amount of potential but again, it needs more content to fill into the potential place holders and the rate that content has been released is IMO very slow. Great game, great way to introduce and play it despite sandbox, but just worries me that it takes so long to develop. Unfortunate...

This is bad. The worst of sandboxing blue balls. Aged renders. Some really unlikable characters. Honestly its like the overall thought is when in doubt lesbian scene. Not solved plot points, not MC gets some.....just lesbians. I don't hate lesbians.....I hate the constant stream of tease or lesbians. Either way the premise was interesting if not for it being a let down for lack of follow through.

Shitty games, with shitty renders and, and point and click sys that is not instinctive.
More over the ration of h-scenes is poor, which is worsened by lot of blue balling and the executiion of its concept of time travel done very poorly.
Not recommended. I hope I can recover my time I wasted in this game.

Animations are so good. Character renders are okey. Story is about time travelling between two timelines. (20 years ago and present). Choices dont matter much. So far so good. I hope developer continues this project. This promises much.

This game surprised me. Sure, it has some obvious tropes (i.e. helping sister with homework, lusty friend's mom, etc.), but the main plot line (think Back to the Future) is great. The writing is serviceable and the lewd animations have some bounce to them. It is not completed, so you get that, 'this route will be in future update' junk and the sandbox setting causes some reruns, but I am certainly going to bookmark this game and follow to completion. If the developer finishes it by the end of 2025, I'll even buy a copy to show my appreciation.

One of the greatest porn games I've ever played.

I had it put aside because I didn't like the appearance of the MC and her best (female) fried, Kim.

But I tried it out of boredom, and it has gone directly to one of my top ten. Maybe even top 5, I don't have them rated.


I like the MC and Kim. They are likeable. The MC is not a hateful person that only wants to fulfill his lust as in many games. He cares about the people he loves and understands that something must not happen, so it's slow burn.

Of course, he will do it will all the female cast, but in a tasteful way. He even put on a condom to have sex with one of the LI.

Netorare (NTR): Per definition "one character, often a man, is romantically or sexually involved with a woman, but she is seduced or forced into a sexual relationship with another man, leading to feelings of betrayal, jealousy, and emotional distress for the original partner.", there is no NTR in this game.

But if you are the part of the f95 NTR hater group and feels betrayed if your female friend pecks your mother, or gets hurts when a LI married to another LI have (out of screen) sex, this game is not for you. Avoid it.

Bro i don't know why this game is so underrated. I mean I get it sandboxes are very annoying when you want to bust that nut but this game is too good to be avoided just because of that . The characters were well designed, the story writing is good, the animations are good.. well. I mean there is very little to complain in this game. I mean being a dik, treasure of nadia,summertime saga(og) all are grind centered game. but theese games as a whole are too good to overlook , the same can be said in its case. I don't know of your opinions but this game is a solid A tier game.

I absolutely loved the characters, the story line and the look of the characters. The characters were well developed, and you can actually see them growing and still staying true to some form of moral code. The MC really does try to be a good and moral person, but his moral code of making sure that those he loves are happy and fulfilled over rides that sometimes. It actually becomes a rather endearing trait.

Good story so far, and really good renders/animations. I just wish there was an IC patch, since his "roommate" calls him "bro". Other than that, really liking this so far. The game mechanics are pretty fun as well. Having to upgrade your transportation to reach further out spots gives it a challenge.
