Hey everyone,
As Altered Destiny V0.09c is set to release on the final tier below in the next couple days, I wanted to talk a bit about 'Quality of Life' improvements. If you are unsure what that means, I'm talking about small changes that will make things simpler and more enjoyable for you.
Not everyone prefers a sandbox game. Everyone has their own preferences and I try my best to make things as easy as possible for you. Things like the "!" or "Lewd" notifications on the map to guide you on how to progress the story. There has been other small additions that I have thought about, such as the recent addition of closing your inventory or phone screen by simply clicking anywhere outside it's UI rather than a specific button.

There are some other things I have on my mind to change that can make your experience more enjoyable. Below are a couple changes I'd like to implement:
1) The ability to forward time anywhere rather than just your bed, bath or overworld map. This obviously comes with some restrictions, such as specific story moments or locations that are to be closed at certain times of the day. That shouldn't be too big of an issue to implement, with a simple block if the coffee shop is to close on the next time of day. Overall, that should help reduce the need to return to the overworld map every time you wish to move the time forward.
2) Giving the option to move to the next day via the overworld map. No more needing to go directly to your bed every time you want to move to the next morning if you don't wish to. This obviously comes with some restrictions as well, but should overall make things a bit simpler for you when you are free to roam around as you please.
3) "!" display via the artifact button. Got a quest ready to go in the present while in the past? Get a small graphical detail that helps notify you without needing to manually time travel and check yourself. Obviously, same goes the other way around.

Again, these have been on mind, and it's something I may put some time into implementing on the back end up an update release. Changing code like this always runs the risk of even the smallest mistake that can cause a bug, but when the time comes, hopefully no problems will persist.
If there are any QoL options you may want to request, I'd gladly like to hear it.
PS: The first scene of Altered Destiny V0.10 is finished, and I'm moving onto the second scene tomorrow. Something a bit lewd with Julia. Will go more in-depth on it this coming Friday where I publish the first progress report. Thanks!

Very interesting, I liked the story, but that girl who is MC's daughter with Olivia, should be older than MC in the main timeline, after all Julia didn't have children and wasn't even pregnant when MC and Olivia had sex. Unless the author wants to imply that MC's interference in the past caused some kind of mess in the timeline to the point where someone born before became younger than someone born after.

Yeah, it's always frustrating when users on the site are very abrupt and aggressively rude to the devs of games. And they always use the excuse "But muh free speech!" Just because you can say something (even being within F95's site rules) doesn't mean you should say something. Or better still, if you don't like something you can let the dev know, but express it in a calm, reserved way: "Hey, just FYI, I'm not a big fan of..." is far better than "Why is the dev such a piece of shit?" There are a ton of toxic folks on this site who, if they calmed the hell down when posting, wouldn't be driving devs off like this. [sigh]Great job guys, F95 ran another dev away from here.....

Pretty sure she's actually super into the main character but also thinks she's a lesbian.
It explains the way she acts in the beach shed, her slight cuckqueany attitude to your character's sex life, the second porn shoot and why she's constantly hitting on your family members.

Again. I know that's what they are going for, and if it was only a case of attraction to your family member's it would be no big deal. It's not like you can help finding your friend's sister or mom hot.
But she isn't just attracted to them, she's actively pursuing them despite this being upsetting to the MC. I can't really reconcile the fact she really likes the MC with how she treats him as a friend. I love you but I love ignoring your boundaries more is not the measure of a good friend. If her primary interest was for the MC, her primary concern would be protecting and growing this relationship, not putting it at risk for people she supposedly only likes because of their connection to the MC.
IMO the cuckquean role only works when that person is wholly devoted to their partner. If she's wingmanning the MC but also pursuing other interests herself, it's more like a casual sexual relationship where she doesn't feel possessive of the MC. She doesn't care as long as it's hot.
This is definitely not true. The dev as actively said that she's not actively pursuing them. She constantly says that she's joking just as MC does about Silvia, though it's been said that he is going to bang Silvia. Also that the incident at the water tower is meant to be a misunderstanding and to be explained at a later point by Julia.
Whatever bro. If it walks like a duck and talks like duck... The dev can say whatever they like but this isn't a one-off. She's pretty much a non-stop flirting machine with them and that qualifies as pursuing in my book. Even if it is all an elaborate misunderstanding (she dragged her to what is essentially makeout point in the short moment they are left alone and is about to makeout with her when we interrupt them in a place they went to great effort to not be interrupted in), it all goes back to her still not being a good friend to the MC. She knows she has a fixation with the MC's relatives that she knows the MC doesn't care for and she still puts herself in a situation where a misunderstanding of this kind is bound to happen.
It can all be explained away if you absolutely insist on doing so. But I feel mistreated as the MC and left without an outlet to express it (No choices to tell her off or opt out of her scenes). I feel like I don't like this dynamic but my character HAS to like it. Retconning previous events so they aren't as bad as they felt at the time does not create a satisfying outcome for me. It rather feels like we're being gaslit by the author themselves. ''You weren't actually almost getting cucked that one time, it was all just you misunderstanding how much your lesbian friend is into you.''
And the goal posts have been moved and more assumptions made. Since you've played a more controversial version of the game you seem to be invested in something you have and keep coming back to it because you need to be angry lol

Small pet peeve not trying to be overly critical but can you put unoffical patches in zip folders prior to uploading. If you have a common folder you download to it causes you to have to rename the files everytime prior to pasting in folder.
