did you click on the bed in the mc's room at night? if "Preventing the tragic fate" doesn't show up as a choice, you missed something.

I just got back to the present after facing Olivia in a game of Skee Ball. I threw the game and got a BJ from her. Came to the present, and there is an exclamation mark on Home in the day when no one is there. And another in the evening when everyone is home. Couldn't find where to click with no one home except for the bath for a fantasy. Didn't get rid of it. Forwarded to evening, only one I could talk to was the sister. Did both first and second options, third was locked. What do I do? Is it stuck?
EDIT ==== I think I figured it out. Went to sleep at night, as it still had the mark, and had a green choice. So that might have been what it was.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not always as clear as it could be. As a general rule, that's what I try to do. If I see an exclamation mark for an apparently empty location or can't find something I know is supposed to be in the update, I'll first try each time period. If that doesn't get me the event, I'll have the MC sleep and generally find it after that.
