VN - Ren'Py - Alternate Existence [S2 v2.3.0] [MrKnobb]

Great renders with everything else below par. Some of the characters behaving unlike their personality, okayish animations. Sci fi story involving a 22yr old dude invited or forced to stay with her previous adopter, a sexually frustrated middle aged women, who has a daughter and a gorgeous asian maid (one of the only few likeable characters). You can skip the story and stop at any random scene you'll get the idea of what has happened so it's pretty bland.
Seems like voyeuristic scenes are going to plague this one, which by the way are skippable so there's that. I'm looking forward to see how the mc is gonna shape his future.

I want to start off by saying that I really enjoyed the previous DEV game, unfortunately, it forced us to have to choose between 3 beautiful and lovely girls. But the evaluation is about EA, not RtP.

So let's start with the bad part, let's criticize the game that is many, but somehow they are still not something that prevents me from considering the game as a good game... with the potential to be excellent... (If those two opening scenes didn't exist... hahaha it was already 5 stars.... play)

1- As many have commented the dialogues between the characters are often terrible, sometimes I caught myself pressing the Ctrl, I mean it seems that whenever he will talk to a new person starts " has that woman..." and that's annoying, better to skip to not be so repetitive like I know the person there does not know his story and such, but we as "readers" we already know and we've heard him tell that story other times.

2- Still kind of about dialogues, is it true that every time he is going to have something with someone he has to ask why him? Face I know the MC is ugly as fuck the way it is now and that glasses do not help at all (perhaps in myopia), stop for the love of God to be stupid, as they say, given horse does not look at the teeth.

3- The evolution of this guy is really slow, we are already on the fourth episode and the guy is still a fucking coward, in some moments we see some glimpses of a Man inside him, but most of the time he behaves like a coward and pervert who has never seen a girl, despite the many beautiful women around him (further down I will talk about this), he still always seems to go into robot mode repeating those annoying pervert monologues "oh my god, an ass, what a girl like, oh how I would like to touch it". Hoping that at some point he gains some dough and improves both visually and this personality coward perverted shit (fingers crossed).

EDIT: 4- I forgot to mention the main factor of me walking away from the game on the first release of this game. VOYER, these scenes turned me away from this game because they are the bad kind of Voyer, where we see some of our main girls having sex with other people, Samata who would be one of the best girls for love interest ends up being ruined by this scene in the alley, like not only the fact that she is having sex but like, she even ends up with a big face ahegao which says that she loved it and is very happy with her boyfriend, although in the bio it says that she doesn't see him as a future husband and has a "secret love". that probably is the MC, and soon after all this (her fucking madly with her boyfriend) she offers a kiss on the mouth of the MC, which for me completely killed her there, but then we still see that she dresses like a slut because her boyfriend likes her to walk like that which ended up covering the coffin, for me the DEV can leave her like this now, friend and nothing more. The other scene, the scene of the aunt (Anne) is more acceptable, at least this one had a message to pass (that she doesn't have sex with men and doesn't accept that they touch her in sexual relations). Although DEV has improved the second one by making it optional to watch or not and now if we avoid watching we don't have to bump into BBC, the first one still happens the same way being optional to watch or not plus it still happens and Samata still offers the "kissy" pos sex to MC, and I couldn't see any message there but that she despite looking like a sweet and nice girl is a slut that is willing to fuck anywhere and the whole kissing thing I kind of take for cuckold thing and such (of course MC is nothing of her nor feel anything loving for her and is more something friendly between them, but the whole thing of fucking a guy and after finishing want to kiss another, leaves me all that NTR thing, like fuck the bull and go kiss the cuckold). The result, Samata died as a love interest for me, Anne is still ok.

5- I want to make it clear that this point is kind of questionable and I can edit it in the future. I don't know why Andrea and Tania are the two girls (according to DEV) who might be the only ones considered LI here, like, seriously, are girls taken from another game somehow more interesting than the ones in this game? Like, my favorite girl right now is Adriana, beautiful, hot, and sweet. If it was the case of RtP where it was necessary to choose one for the end, at that moment for sure she was my choice without thinking too much. Tania, on the other hand, is our beloved Jensen's leftover the highest point this MC can reach? I played RtP and she to me was the girl more supporting possible, besides not being so beautiful against the others still weighs the fact that it is... as they say... second sloppy, where we already saw her fucking and know her love for Jensen (at least those who played RtP know), so for me she was not interested in the other game, this is even worse, Andrea is still acceptable since besides her being much prettier (of course it goes with the person's taste) there is still the fact that she was not sexually exploited in the last game (at least that I remember), she also confesses that she had a crush on Jensen, but it was also less explicit than Tania. So if these two girls are the pinnacle of this MC where these two can be considered "girlfriends" even if he is having fun with the others, if, in the end, we end up with only one of those two, I give up on this DEV, for good.

I believe that these are the points that most drew my attention negatively, now let's go to the good things.

1- My heavenly father, what a hot woman is this? Anne and Gabriela rose in my rank of milfs with inflation here in the country where I "survive"... hahaha... Adriana, Daniela, Summer, and my dear Asami (I love this naughty girl), in short, it is a juicy menu of beautiful girls. Too bad some of them were burned in some moments like Samata, who seemed like a nice girl, sweet and worried with the MC, but she was "burned". In that alley scene where she was fucked relentlessly by her boyfriend ending with ahegão, which implies that she loved it, so she's fine as a friend, but I lost all interest in her, unfortunately, because she was pretty and looked like she really liked the MC (in her bio it's said that she has a secret love for someone and I'd bet all my chips on the MC). But ta good, has many other tasty to harness still, fingers crossed for DEV not destroy any more of my delights.

2- The sex scenes are incredible, sometimes the MC and the girls go into Flash mode, but they are still very good quality.

3- The graphics alone are incredible, so I'm just mentioning it for the record.

4- The story is something that struck me, all the mystery behind the "abilities" of the MC (we already know this is the same universe as RtP, so we know people can have some incredible gifts), like who the MC's mother is, why she abandoned him because "she was different" (last sentence from MC's father to Anne, before the accident), sometimes the DEV forges too much of MC's story and wastes too much time on things like oiling and choosing clothes, but I understand that he wants to gain some time so the game doesn't finish quickly, after all, he has a good story here and can earn some money with it, so...



5- This point is about DEV itself and not precisely about EA, but it's worth pointing out here. I like when DEV interacts with his fans, followers, supporters, and such, of course, some comments have nothing to add and are destructive criticism without anything to add and not present something for DEV can improve your game, but the constructive criticism should be taken into account, YES, and that's why I want to praise @MrKnobb for listening, even if he does not agree with these criticisms, but at least he listens and answers why he disagrees. And when I say that constructive criticism should be considered I always remember the acknowledgments of George R.'s books. R. Martin when he thanks his editors, where he refers to the "details" as demons and their editors and proofreaders as guardian angels, I see many "guardian angels" here on this forum, showing some point where DEV got lost and how he could do better, pity some DEV are very ignorant and unwilling like MrKnobb, so this is a big point for this guy and consequently for the game.

Hopefully, at some point (an update or two), I will come back here to add the next star and delete some negative reviews and add some more positive ones. The game is very good and is still walking... so I highly recommend this game.

And disregard the English mistakes, do not speak English, and use a translator to communicate on this forum.

This game is average at best. It could be a premium game but no...

1: The MC is F ridiculous. How are we supposed to recognize ourselves in him? Lack of confidence but girls are just dropping like flies for him... come on that's not females that's males behavior. Sometimes he makes move that are interesting and fun but that's very rare.

2: The girls are really beautiful and animations are greats. This is a very high level of work. My only remark will be i wish we had some diversity on body build. They are always very big butt and very big breasts. Personally i like it but i know for facts there is people out there who despise bimbos!

3: The story is the weak point of this game there is none. We see a very little thin glimpse of something perhaps weird and unexpected but that's it. A part of the relation between the caregiver and the MC , and the daughter everything is bland and dull. You met a girl, you speak 1 or 2 word and hop! Already a date in your pocket! Same, you show your dick and hop! A sex scene! WOW that's some impressive script! The story is a 1 star quality...

4: Sounds are ok but the have the merit to exist so that's good!

5: Not really a whole point but i think the skin texture is really great in this game, i whish more game has this quality of graphics! There is some effort to make good liquid texture but that's more delicate...

That's all for me. If the story is reworked and the dialogues, this game has potential for high end tier. But actually i was pretty bored and stayed only for the graphic quality.

I’ve really enjoyed the game so far. The characters and renders all look amazing and I feel that the story has a whole lot of potential. But do have a few complaints. Being the MCs skin tone. He looks yellow and add on the fact that he’s a twig, he looks like he has some sort of terminal illness. Maybe make the MCs skin and body look more healthy since it looks like he’s been lacking the proper nutrition for years and is sick due to it. Hopefully from the training the MC does with Andi will help him look more lean, healthy and not like a twig - hopefully the MCs appearance will change the more he trains with Andi. I also think the MCs height should be remembered. He tells the doctor he’s 6’6, but then a bunch of male and female characters all are at eye level with him when being 6'6 is much taller than the average man and woman. When we meet Rob, he looks to be taller than the MC, but Robs bio says that he’s 6’4 so he should be shorter than the MC.

I’m not 100% sure if the game is based in the US, another country or its own world, but if it’s based off the US, the meeting with the cop lady wouldn’t make much sense legally. Double jeopardy prohibits anyone from being held on trial for the same crime twice aka the 5th amendment of the US constitution. I’m not sure if it is the US or not, but this could have been just to introduce a new character, to tell a story from the MCs past about how got the scar, or the game is its own world and double jeopardy has no validity and we will see the cop again harassing the MC.

I’m looking forward to what the fantasy tag will lead to. So far we know that the MC heals quickly and doesn’t really feel any pain. We also saw early on when the MC gets a call from a lady to tell him his apartment is being sold and he has to move out, she said that “even over the phone his pull is so strong”. We see this reoccurring throughout the story where everyone seems interested in the MC kinda like he produces some sort of pheromones that attracts people to him without him knowing. We also see how when he went to help summer with Brad and he gets headhunted, he licks the blood off of his lip and his eyes flash red. We see this again after visiting Gabi. He falls asleep and again, his eyes flash red and then we see a dream with a woman who tells the MC she is his. And finally at the end of the current update, we see the MC spread out his arms, his eyes and mouth glow red while it sounds like some ancient power takes over his body and yells. I’m really interested in what this leads to and would like to see the story focus more on this and how the MC develops who he is.

I read mention of how the MC is a doormat to be walked over by people but I don’t see it that way. He stood up for Summer and got back up after he was knocked down. If he was just some pansy he would’ve ran away after getting hit to the ground but he got back up and later started taking lessons from Andi for self defense. Ive also read mention of how the MC starts questioning the woman around him about why they’re with him and how that makes him a beta. Listen to what the MC says. He has never had any female attention so now with amazing looking characters suddenly dropped in his lap like a gift from god, he’s confused as hell but he still takes advantage of the situation instead of ignoring the woman around him and starts relationships with them. People also think this because Rob stepped in when the MC was corned by Brad and his friend. I think that this was just for the story to introduce an ally for the MC that from reading Robs bio, is a very loyal and trustworthy friend to have so maybe in later chapters he will play a big part.

The game can definitely go to 5 stars if there’s just minor problems. I want to see the MC become less of a twig that looks like he’s constantly sick and look more lean and muscular from the training with Andi. A game that did something like this is “Love of Magic” where the MC has been doing physical training and Droid (the dev) updated the MC to look more muscular due to the training. I think this would make a lot of people happy since the MC really does look like he has some kind of terminal illness. We know that something paranormal/fantasy aspect is going on with the MC. I hope we learn a lot more about what that is and the MC starts to learn the power he has since no normal person starts levitating with a glowing mouth and eyes. We know something is up with him from the phone call regarding his apartment so there’s background characters who know something we don’t but I hope that the story starts focusing more on the fantasy aspect.

I love this game it has a great story Renders and animations and music at times but not all the time and I think well placed. Also, the big plus for me is that it has sex sound effects such as moaning still waiting for butt slapping sounds or did I miss that slurping is ok, not great but hey I love having sex sound effects so huge plus for me. I wish the patch would make the girls you live with Mom and Sister instead of Aunt and cousin but it will do soz for being fussy. I will when I can support this game as it has almost everything I want in a game. The only thing missing for me but I don't think will be added is Transgender but I know it's not for the vast majority so I doubt it will become a thing even so I love the game.

First let's start with the PROS of the game
1 . The game has Beautiful girls and Amazing Animations and Renders clearly one of the best among the games that I played .
Second the CONS of the game
The Story doesn't make much sense , it's confusing and dialogues with Main character are worst .
The Main Character who acts like a walking doormat and a robot with no dignity and self respect and no confidence with no backbone .
1. When one of the girls who he had sex insults him in public , he doesn't care and it seems as long as she has sex with him it 's okay - No self respect .
2. And during sex scenes with women he asks why are you having sex with me and why not experienced man and you can get any men you wish , why me ? Really man no confidence in yourself .
3.And when MC is bullied , he doesn't do anything and just waits till someone comes and rescues him from the situation . And someone eventually helps him from the bullies .
In addition there is more voyeurism in the first episode and sloppy second girlfriend from another game and a cousin / roommate who hates you as a pervert even if you don't spy on her or others .
Overall other than the beautiful renders and girls , the story and Irritating Main Character ruins this game for me . I hope MC personality changes and he develops a backbone later in the game and will change my review if it happens but right now he is terrible .

The graphics and animations might be the best I've seen so far in any of these VN's at F95Zone. The reason the game falls short of 5 stars is because the dialogue is quite terrible. The interactions between characters are very forced and does not flow naturally. Not simply an issue with translation, the actual story dialogue, it's just lacking. But the graphics and animations pull it up a little bit because they are, very good.

I don't know why this was rated lower, the scenes are impressive, and even though it is more of a visual novel without your choices making more of a difference, I appreciate the linear flow and feel like it fits with the narrative being given. Hope the updates continue because the quality of the work is impressive.

The renders are so fucking beautiful in this game. ill be honest thats what drew me in to playing it, that and Anne is so fucking hot. shes one of my fave milfs in a porngame already & mr knobbs other game "RTP" has another one of the hottest redhead milfs in Vicky. Even though this game is still fairly new, I llike where its headed, each update is getting hotter and closer to getting somewhere with Anne. The MC is also starting to get laid daily now between the milf neighbor or Gabby from the clothes store, plus hes dating 2 babes from school & has a horny maid that wants some D too. cant wait for next update

Now i played the game and i want to post a review, i don't want to sound like an asshole so i hope my review will come to you in handy.
Take it as criticism that helps you improve more.
-The dialogue of the game is ok-ish, it's not bad or good and it can be improved in the future, especially when it comes to the characters.
It doesn't have any typos or maybe i didn't saw any myself regardless , i didn't had any strokes reading it so i appreciate it.
-The renders are pretty much the biggest plus of the game, the characters models look nice and i appreciate that not every female character is just big boobs and big ass, because i expected that for a moment so there's diversifications but again, it can be better.
One thing that needs to be worked on is the lighting, in some scenes the light makes the characters skin to glow which makes them look like mannequins.
-The game's menu and overall interface of it is something different and unique so clearly you put effort in the game which is good, not many games have different menus and pretty much all of them are generic.
Now this is much or less the good things that the game has, now i'll talk about the bad parts.
-The characters personalities are lacking and here i'm talking about the whole characters including the MC.
The female characters in particular does look like they do have some personality but isn't very noticeable because overall they all act the same pretty much, the MC's cousin ironically has the biggest personality along with Samara, the rest of the characters are like copies of each other in terms of that.
Another thing that i noticed is the level of PERVERSION, everyone and i mean everyone from the game are big ass perverts especially the protagonist, i don't say that's a bad thing but it's too obvious and every girl looks like it's ready to fuck every moment.
-The MC has the biggest non-personality vibes from all the characters, he is like a pervert robot who's programmed to spy on girls ass or boobs making cringe remarks, i understand that he must be that isolated and introverted type of person that isn't good with girls and he's shy around them but come on, even the biggest introverts have more personality than this MC.
He doesn't talk too much, he barely spokes any words.
And somehow despite all of this things, the girls are still attracted to him because he looks "cute" or because he has a big dick, again the perversion is the biggest base of the game.
I could rant all they about how MC is unlikeable and it's about his personality, not because he is a weakling like many users said.
-There's no story behind MC's relationships with the women, we don't know for example what is the relationship between MC and Samara, we don't know why they are friends, when they first met, how much of friends they are because it looks like Samara has romantic feelings for MC but at the same time she treats him like a little brother, like a little kid who wants to take care of him.
All the characters could use some personality development in the future because at this level, it isn't very satisfying.
For now overall this is my opinion about the game and the things i don't like and the things i like.
Again, i'm not hating it, i'm just trying to make you understand what needs to be improved in the future because game can be great.
The game is pretty average in my opinion, the renders aren't enough to make up for it or the dialogue that needs more improvement, the characters personality is the biggest oof you need to fix.
If i see any improvements in the future, i will come with edits and maybe a more high rating, but for now, that's prety much it.

Another Dev trying to cash in off the Incest and Harem fan base, while making the game as uncomfortable as possible. PV is another one doing this crap.

The MC in this a joke to me, a doormat, a foot stool, a beta male.. I could go on, but you get the picture. Watching others fuck seem to be the reoccurring theme in this game and I want no parts of it, nor this “story” that doesn’t know which way is up.

I guess after some LI’s is used up by other men, the MC will get what’s left of them. That’s technically still a harem right?…

Shit I finally found Mr. Knobb's other game! Definitely an interesting premise, I mean you start as a whelp compared to being a walking god like jensen.(From previous game). Interesting looking girls as well as an interesting enough story to have me wanting to see more.

A big negative for me is the girls themselves. They are all kinda boring. Like besides the 2 girls who you meet at school the kinda just feel super flat.

Also Mr. Knobb is a fantastic dev and should receive more support. He is active and actually listens to feedback. Something rare for this website and genre of games.

The game is really nice and has some cool models.The current premise of the story is nice and it would be really lovely to see what's next .There are 2 choices leading to very different scenes .The animations are wonderful and it's a big improvement from the previous game where the models were not that good like this.So I think it's worth a try ...

This is a great game. Among the best on the site. Still images uploaded here don't do it justice, as there are numerous animations that are top level. Girls are all different, original and good looking.

I saw folks complaining about the two voyeur scenes in first chapter - and while I can certainly see that the first scene could be interpreted as somewhat unnecessary (aside from getting us a glimpse of lewdness), second scene is driving the plot and is there for a reason.
Personally I don't mind this but author made sure that both are skippable.

Aside from mentioned there is really no downsides here. Language is good and consistent, interactions are interesting, and plot is slowly unfolding. Also, there are some choices that will net you different scenes.

All in all, I can wholehartedly recommend this game. 10/10

Allow me to expand on what I've said so far.


The renders and girls, you can check out yourself in the preview pics. It's honestly exceptional. The expressions on characters faces look extraordinary. Serious talent.



TLDR; I was willing to overlook the parts of the game that didn't interest me in trying to be objective. The renders are fantastic and the dev is definitely making an effort to communicate even if he ends up saying things he doesn't follow through on from time to time. If the story still doesn't make sense by next episode or the main character doesn't show any growth past being a doormat loser I'll basically be out of patience and change my review to reflect that.

It is not often possible to say that the game is aesthetic pleasure, even the fluidity of the plot does not cause displeasure, but provides a chance to enjoy beautiful views. It is surprising that the rating of the game is not high, but when I looked at the ratings, it became clear. It seems that some not good people specifically want to lower the author's motivation, considering him as a competitor to their worthless crafts. In fact, this is the highest rating when the competitors perceive your product is serious. I look forward to updates and new plot twists and thanks to the site for the pleasure provided

Well it was probably worst harem (by future tags) game what i played, poor sub MC is going around and watching his future Li fucked.

Did not expect this from someone who made realy good game before.

I wanted to give only one star but art is realy good.

Boring doormat MC. Boring Dialogue and boring story. Renders are nice I suppose, but everything else in this game is surprisingly unerotic. There is no passion, no charisma, no flirtation, just a doormat MC bumbling around and watching other people fuck. Voyeur scenes can be great, but the ones present in this game are strangely not-erotic at all.

After RtP i was expecting something better but oh boy how wrong I was, just awful.

Best female character in game instantly killed with the (cof, cof) voyeurism (cof, cof) scene.

Mc is just garbage, how painful is to read is dialogue and the way he acts.

Weirdest "harem" ever, if we could call harem what dev plans, only 2 main LI, one is nice the other is the sloopy seconds from dev last game she was not worth of last game mc other than to be a fuck toy but for this garbage mc she already is ok.

The other's side li or side fucks or whatever the fuck dev thinks of them are interesting as the product i left in the toilet after taking a big dump.

Transitions are weird.

Mc is a complete loser and the best thing I would have to deacribe him is to a sidewalk, everyone can step on him and he is fine and dandy with it.

Too much voyeurism and it's the bad kind of "voyeurism ".

Only the renders are nice.

Just a bad game.

Dev has managed to ameliorate considerably their previous game's shortcomings, ie a story that is both very stupid and very long, at the expense of lewd content. The graphics have also improved. I can't say the same about the story but I can skip through it and it's distributed among a reasonable amount of h-scenes (1-2 per update so far). I would like that formula to skew towards h-scenes a tad going forward, but as it is it's enough for me to like the game.

The models, textures, lighting and animations aren't perfect but neither are my expectations. Further, I have a thing for the oiled-up/wet and tanned look and evidently the dev does too, which is cool.

In my view cg porn should try to do things that aren't possible/feasible in live-action porn. By that measure the porn scenes in this game, while nicely done and all, are pretty mundane so far. They don't really have that edge that I imagine most people who are into this medium both enjoy and expect.

One final, if minor, gripe: the current game's story shares the same 'universe' as that of the previous game, which I don't want to be reminded of.

My overall rating (without factoring in story or characters because they're easy enough to ignore): 3.5/5. Which I'll round up to a 4 as a nod to the dev's willingness/ability to learn from criticism.
