Let me give a short and long version:
Pros
-Dev does a few things right
-Quality borderline cinematic renders
-Beautiful girls

-Dev does alot wrong
-Story is confusing, all over the place, makes no sense
-The main character

Allow me to expand on what I've said so far.


The renders and girls, you can check out yourself in the preview pics. It's honestly exceptional. The expressions on characters faces look extraordinary. Serious talent.



TLDR; I was willing to overlook the parts of the game that didn't interest me in trying to be objective. The renders are fantastic and the dev is definitely making an effort to communicate even if he ends up saying things he doesn't follow through on from time to time. If the story still doesn't make sense by next episode or the main character doesn't show any growth past being a doormat loser I'll basically be out of patience and change my review to reflect that.

It is not often possible to say that the game is aesthetic pleasure, even the fluidity of the plot does not cause displeasure, but provides a chance to enjoy beautiful views. It is surprising that the rating of the game is not high, but when I looked at the ratings, it became clear. It seems that some not good people specifically want to lower the author's motivation, considering him as a competitor to their worthless crafts. In fact, this is the highest rating when the competitors perceive your product is serious. I look forward to updates and new plot twists and thanks to the site for the pleasure provided

Well it was probably worst harem (by future tags) game what i played, poor sub MC is going around and watching his future Li fucked.

Did not expect this from someone who made realy good game before.

I wanted to give only one star but art is realy good.

Boring doormat MC. Boring Dialogue and boring story. Renders are nice I suppose, but everything else in this game is surprisingly unerotic. There is no passion, no charisma, no flirtation, just a doormat MC bumbling around and watching other people fuck. Voyeur scenes can be great, but the ones present in this game are strangely not-erotic at all.

After RtP i was expecting something better but oh boy how wrong I was, just awful.

Best female character in game instantly killed with the (cof, cof) voyeurism (cof, cof) scene.

Mc is just garbage, how painful is to read is dialogue and the way he acts.

Weirdest "harem" ever, if we could call harem what dev plans, only 2 main LI, one is nice the other is the sloopy seconds from dev last game she was not worth of last game mc other than to be a fuck toy but for this garbage mc she already is ok.

The other's side li or side fucks or whatever the fuck dev thinks of them are interesting as the product i left in the toilet after taking a big dump.

Transitions are weird.

Mc is a complete loser and the best thing I would have to deacribe him is to a sidewalk, everyone can step on him and he is fine and dandy with it.

Too much voyeurism and it's the bad kind of "voyeurism ".

Only the renders are nice.

Just a bad game.

Dev has managed to ameliorate considerably their previous game's shortcomings, ie a story that is both very stupid and very long, at the expense of lewd content. The graphics have also improved. I can't say the same about the story but I can skip through it and it's distributed among a reasonable amount of h-scenes (1-2 per update so far). I would like that formula to skew towards h-scenes a tad going forward, but as it is it's enough for me to like the game.

The models, textures, lighting and animations aren't perfect but neither are my expectations. Further, I have a thing for the oiled-up/wet and tanned look and evidently the dev does too, which is cool.

In my view cg porn should try to do things that aren't possible/feasible in live-action porn. By that measure the porn scenes in this game, while nicely done and all, are pretty mundane so far. They don't really have that edge that I imagine most people who are into this medium both enjoy and expect.

One final, if minor, gripe: the current game's story shares the same 'universe' as that of the previous game, which I don't want to be reminded of.

My overall rating (without factoring in story or characters because they're easy enough to ignore): 3.5/5. Which I'll round up to a 4 as a nod to the dev's willingness/ability to learn from criticism.

Renders are of decent quality, but some human figures are just dolls with no skin, looking ugly and sometimes able to break the immersion.

Females are mostly not attractive (either older ladies or bitches), except two cute students and maybe Sam from the cafe.

Sex stimulation comes from those older ladies. I have no idea why MC is so horny about them. Old ladies with big boobs remind me of my grammy, which is the opposite of sexy.

The story is linear, with a dull, boring MC and often dialogs are rather irritating than interesting. Almost all the choices for now were "Peek -or- Respect", with no consequences.

So I got really unimpressive impression.

I'm giving 2 star's just because of renders.

At this review date the game is basically a voyeur game.
In 3 scenes 2 are voyeur .

This game have a really weird view of what a harem is, you will have 2 main LI and the other's are side fucks with a lil bit of romance or no romance at all, well for me that isn't a real harem.

Then you have the 2 main LI:
One is Jensen(dev previous game mc) niece, you don't know much about her besides a small talk in school corridor and her decides to throw herself in a date with mc.
The other one is Tania the ex-secretary of jensen where in jensen game(RtP) she is in love with him but he just had sex with her and rejected her, so now she is recycled in this game as a new LI and sloopy seconds of jensen that he didn't think was worth to pursue but is fine for this new mc it seems, she is still in love with jensen as stated in this game as her secret unattainable love said by her and stated in her bio too. So anyone that played RtP and don't like having their LI fucked by other's previous mc or not is already being penalized for having played this dev previous game , so all in all just one main LI is left that you still don't know anything .

Then you have the voyeur scenes, first one you get is with mc friend samara(the most developed female char in game at this point) she is by far the one with best personality and more caring towards MC right now, I played before the skip option was in game so you where forced to see a bit then had the option to either watch it or sit in the street floor for them waiting for them to finish and earing them, so yeah the most pleasant girl in the entire game was already been seen getting fucked by one npc, her bf or not doesn't matter, after that scene she see that mc have a cut in the lip and offer to kiss him to take care of the boo boo. Again the only gir(and possible fan favorite) in the game that seems worthy is already being burned to the ground. Samara even say she likes her bf but doesn't really see a bright future with him so why burn a good character ?

The other voyeur is aunt getting liked by an escort while a bbc is fucking the escort, only option is to watch or not, then you have a scene where mc goes to the fridge and the bbc shows completely naked flaunting is dick in the middle of the kitchen.

Aunt is just not worth, someone that abandoned mc and just gets to him now because needs something.
Cousin is for now a complete bitch towards MC.
The main LI already explained.
So yeah that what you get as LI in this game.

Mc in the beggining seemed to have some sort of backbone by rejecting aunt offers 2 times but then out of nowhere mc building owner decides to sell the building meaning mc would be without home so he decides to accept aunt offer and from there the backbone he seemed to have completely disappears and becomes a total wimp apologizing for everything and without backbone.
The most cringe scene is after mc finally have some action(with cousin sluty friend) after they have sex he turn to the girl and asks why she wanted to have sex with him if with her looks she could get any man she wanted. Common really? How beta do you want to be? Just take the win and shut up.

So yeah right now the game isn't really worth to play at all, so many mistakes and weird things done unless you like beta mc and voyeur games . Recycling characters of previous games and burning the best ones to date isn't really a smart move in my books.

All in all is a cluster fuck of mistakes and weird directions the game goes

Some people on here are seemingly forgetting what a VN means or entails.....it's very definition is an " interactive fiction video game genre, featuring text-based story with narrative style of literature..." The people who are complaining that there aren't enough choices are yelling at a wall. There's meant to be limited choices in general

Also fail to understand the gripe of not having enough background or context for the characters. The main premise of the game is already listed in the description to give us a general idea. The intro of the game is a continuation of the description where we see the MC being dropped off at the Anne's house. Summer embodies your complaints and asks why the MC is there and explains literally the backstory, to which Summer begins to understand somewhat.

As has been stated, the overall renders are well above average and are what will continue to draw and keep interest. Animations, although sometimes a little clunky, are still considered to be better than plenty of games.

I'm not calling it a perfect game by any stretch and glad to see majority of the reviews are positive but I feel a need to address the critical reviews I see sometimes, esp when some points are just confusingly petty

Since this is an early stage of development my rating will be based on what its currently in the game as the story progress I will update this review.

Visually its a quite good the renders are of high quality with an attention to detail. It's to be expected from this developer considering the quality of (his/her) work

Each of the female characters its fairly unique and attractive in its own way so that you can find someone to like regardless of taste.

So far the presented characters offer different types of relationship to player, from flirty to conflicting, but all entertaining in it's own way.

The story so far has opened many questions regarding the MC and several of the characters without being too vague, which is enough to keep the player waiting for more.

there is some voyeurism content that the can be skipped if the player do not wish to see it and it's been stated that any future content of the sort will remain optional

As it stand there is a lot of potential in the story and my advice to any future player its to be patient since the story has just begun there it's still much to see.

A Nice enjoyable Fantasy VN till now.
It has the potential to be a great VN so time will tell what unravels
The writings are good but could use some humour to make it a bit more engaging Renders are great with great looking models

If you play this game, be ready for a ride. And don't judge it based off a quick reactionary feeling.

the game start of with an mc who can be a bit unsure of himself, but still able to explain himself very well to the people around him. Which is a great way for him and the story to develop together. He is young, a bit horny(like most guys his age) but has a good head on his shoulders.

The game is more of a visual NOVEL rather than an "rpg" vn where you can "tailor" the mc to be your perfect self. Choices so far are mainly with who the mc would spent their time with and so far you could say "no" if you don't want to sleep with someone.

Now to the voyeurism
At some point the mc stumble upon some people having sex, yes. But for the most part, it's short and gives you some insight about the depravity of some of the characters.

Like I said above, this is a ride. So if you go into the game go with the mindset that you would see other people fuck in the game which some are potential fuck buddies or semi romantic interest and I say that because not all the women will be in your harem and some would only play a small part in it.

But the mc(again his own character) doesn't romantically pursue any of them at this moment or show any interest to do so.

Haven't played much, but the game has a bunch of signs that it may not have been competently made. Not to shit on the devs of course, but there's a lot to be improved.

-Characters are just tossed in the game with no real background or context.
-Main menu blasts music at full volume (note for devs always: Starting volumes on 100 by default is not a good idea) and is quickly contrasted by radio silence from the game, no background music at all.
-Decent renders with what I assume must be some weird lightning? I don't think the black lady at the beggining was supposed to look yellow.
-Seems to be trying to foreshadow something, not very subtly.

The first point is the only real problem, if it does not get addressed later(even if it does, the introduction could still be better), but what tops it all off is the horrible editing . Both in scene and scene to scene, the editing fails to give any sense of continuity between shots.

There's a weird mugging scene that doesn't just come out of nowhere, it is also completely resolved off screen. I think it's trying to set us up to come back to this scene later, but it's just a really weird way to do it.

All in all, I think this is trying to do some weird experimental storytelling with some weirdly structured plot? Or maybe that's not the vibe they were going for at all and it's just badly put together. Either way it doesn't really work for me, so it's a 1/5

I'm giving this four stars based on the hot women. However, the story is a murky and the dialogues are stiff and forced. There really doesn't seem to be any sense of humanity to ground the characters to reality. There seems to be some room for the story to grow and make sense of itself, but for now, it's a quick fap with limited, unearned sexual interactions.

These are just my opinions on the current state of the game.
There are ALOT of things to like about this game, the renders are TOP FUCKIN NOTCH and the story is intriguing.
It just needs some tweaks and give it some time to really get going and it will be a real Gem.

Played and rewiewing Alternate Existence as S1EP2

Plot - 4/5 Nothing to unusial, but enjoyed reading. Also wanna mention lack of choises (IMO)

Renders - 4/5 Girls are GREAT. MILF content is really nice. If you're into this genre, worth checking out. Cons of renders - overused locations in tons of other VNs. Also I'm not fond of mannequin style characters (not sure how to call it correctly LOL)

Animations - also 4/5 They are great, but they have some robotic vibe in them

Also character menu and main menu are custom and really good made. One of huge CONS in my opinion is MC, not fond of this type of main hero (quite a simp for now xD)

TLDR if you're into voyeur or/and milfs OR maybe you just want to relax watching beautiful renders - download it)

This is the review of the version that contains only Episode 1 of season 1.

This game has potential, the main highlights of it are in the animations and graphics, I honestly got a little bored at the beginning, some dialogs could be simply summarized in 2 or 3 lines instead of "stuffing sausage" (being rolling instead of going straight to the proposed subject). I didn't see anything special about the protagonist, but it is the MILF who holds his attention in the game, the protagonist was developed throughout episode 1, but they could have explored the other characters more (The daughter and Asumi). Choices have a minimal impact, at the most omitting or revealing new dialogues, other than that it has nothing else to stand out.

Below are my grades for each category, where 10 is the highest grade:

Graphics: 10;
Animation: 9.5 (Why some movements still seem a little robotic)
Character development: 9;
History: 9;
Plot: 9;

Verdict: It is worth checking out, I will particularly follow up on the next updates.

I have to say, this game is a fantastic in the visuals department.. The renders cant really get any better than this. The animations are real good ( though the bathroom & threesome animations could use better posing / camera angles) .
The story seems average at best. You're a miserable guy working a dead end job until your rich foster parent invites you to stay with her and also babysit her daughter. All characters are really hot and likable. Choices are very limited and the flow of story is quite generic. I can already see the direction in which the story's headed.
Personally, I feel this is an amazing game if you're looking for a quick fap. ( for the future, as the content is quite limited for now) .

Outside of the renders and models, this VN is just lacking. You have zero control over the MC and the flow of the story. I was on the fence with this one. I decided to give it another try to see if I liked it. I didn't. I started completely over from the beginning. Same as the first time I played back in December. There are zero important choices. It's either peek or not. You don't even get a chance to but the household bitch in her place. No spine in the MC at all. Now that I'm no longer on the fence I can honestly say that I will not be checking this one out any further. Good luck to the dev, but this style of spineless MC, and no influence over the story is just not for me. This is completely my opinion.

well the dev is known for his top notch renders and in this VN oh the details damn man totally nailed it
blew the render department out of proportion
a lot of details are present and the animations just wow anyone can tell a lot of effort and time went into making these detailed renders and it paid off in my opinion
the models are RAD and they are also new

don't know where the story is going cause this typical start is nothing new but i do hope we are in for a surprise nonetheless not a bad start
I do hope the dev focus on story as render wise there is nothing to worry about
