Alternatives to Patreon?

So, pretty sure everyone knows by now that Patron severely limits the kinks that can be explored within it.
Some time ago, because payment processors didn't want the site to have porn.
SubscribeStar still doesn't work with PayPal, I guess payment processors think "risky sex" is the same as "risky business".

Anyway, I've decide to look into them and some other sites' TOS to see what kinds of porn they allow.

Patreon is the least "straight to the point" and feels more like a chat where a lawyer tells you what stuff isn't allowed. "Glorification of" sounds very slippery to my lawfully dummy head.

Very straightforward, but even more restrict than Patreon! Aw man, no hypnosis? For shame! And no drugs, would that include alcohol and tobacco? Man, what party poopers.

Maybe, possibly, hopefully the loosest of the 3. Or not? It never explicitly states what kind of adult content is allowed or forbidden, only that it has to be legal where you reside and under US law

Because I'm an idiot, I've decided to google for a few alternatives and see if any had kinda loose terms. Unfortunately, nearly everyone has pretty strict and clear cut limits similar to OF, probably cut/pasted from them (adultnode, loyalfans, fancentro), though some are slightly looser, such as Fanvue, which doesn't forbid hardcore bondage, for instance. At first glance, it looks like a "premium tiktok/instagram", not something for all types of content.

One place that caught my attention was mym.fans. I couldn't find anything on the site about what kind of content is or isn't allowed and I'm currently waiting for a reply. No, really, the word sex shows up only . I guess since they're hosted in Luxembourg they're less likely to have to forbid all the fetishes? Eh, I'll update this post if/when I get an answer.

EDIT> Here's their reply! Good news!

Judging from that, your content is fair game so long as the profile picture isn't anything explicit. Here's to hoping this mym actually works, grows and stays this way!

Then there's LiberaPay, but it's not a place to set up rewards and tiers and whatnot. You just ask for money.

Lastly, there are some cryptocurrency based sites, but all the fees on converting and then withdrawing whatevercoin into actual money probably aren't worth it.

So, any other alternatives I overlooked or that are worth a look?

Instead of using those platforms to "sell" your product. Just use them as a means for people to support you as a creator in general with discord perks for instance or other stuff.

That's basically what many creators do with "incest patches" and "custom age patches". If you aren't directly selling that content through patreon it shouldn't be an issue.

That way you can distribute your game/patches for free somewhere else, and people just use patreon as a means to support you or to unlock unrelated perks.

Can it still be blocked? on some cases yes. But it will be a lot harder for them to have a valid reason to do so.

Terrible idea. Patreon ToS specifically warns against offering banned content elsewhere. If they find out, you're very likely to be deplatformed

Since my game deals with all sort of deliciously nasty content, I didn't even start with Patreon. I want to focus on creating, not dancing around arbitrary moral limitation. Instead I went straight to Subscribestar so I can create what I want without worrying about intimidating messages in my mailbox. Strangely, it's very hard get accepted to Subscribestar, they won't let any creator join for some reason.

Yeah, the ToS are relatively clear. What is banned is not to offer the access to this or that content, but to fund creation(s) that will have this content. As long as you link your creation to your Patreon account, in whatever way (link in the game, link on your discord or your own web site, etc), you are obviously using the said account to fund the game, period.
And obviously, if you remove all links between your game and your Patreon account, not only you'll have near to no support, but you'll also see at least one or two idiots that will claim to be you and redirect to their own Patreon account.

Well but it's what most incest creators do.

Of course if you were actually sharing real illegal content they would go hard on any account, but for slightly controversial content like artistic rape/incest inside your game it's not like they are going on a crusade to deplatform every creator...

But yes paypal is the main issue, so subscribestar is the way to go if you want to minimize the risks.

Huh, I didn't know that. How's the creator application with them, do you have to submit something besides your written plans on a field? Did you get rejected before?

I wasn't, but in the dev forum people report of waiting weeks until they get approved. There's something strangely
lethargic about them. If you look at their , for example, you'll see very little updates compared to .
