Is it strange that I play these games religiously and have yet to ever "fap" to any of the content I've seen? I've been playing these sorts of games for years and most of the time, I click through the porn content just to get back to the story.
I read replies about how a lot of you find these games very fapworthy and it honestly makes me feel like the odd man out... am I weird in this aspect?

I usually play for the porn too, but there are a few games I've played where the sex scenes did nothing for me and the gameplay is what kept me interested. Off the top of my head Sengoku Rance and The Last Sovereign both had boring sex scenes (imo) but thee game was genuinely fun to play.

It would be more strange the other way around. If I want to jerk off I go to pornhub or my Porn-Collection. The pacing in these Games is way too slow to fap to anything.

I think porn games are most interesting for people who want to spice up their porn with some sort of background story. They basically fill a niche between written story and pictures/movies, mostly akin to porn comics. So the story is in a way part of the porn and necessary for certain fetishes.

For me this basically means giving the characters I watch a background. E.g. I find it more exciting when one of the two women in a lesbian scene was a straight housewife and mother before feeling her first attraction to a woman and still finds her feelings weird. For others it's much more immersive, meaning they relate to and identify with the main character.

I've never found myself inspired to fap over a cartoon or game. I think, playing porn games like regular games doesn't make someone weird. At least not in a sexual way, especially, if the game doesn't have your personal fetishes.

But it does show, that he has rather little experience with regular games, as these are far ahead of porn games, as far as story telling and game play go.

Depends on the game I think. If it's purely for porn, and you're skipping all the porn, that's a bit odd.

But a lot of games have good stories that draw you in too. I've a couple of times found myself skipping through the porn stuff to continue with the story because I was more intrigue by that. Personally I find games with proper stories to them far more interesting than just porn for the sake of porn.
