Ren'Py - Amnesia [v0.100b] [Super Alex]

Wow, I can't believe I created account here just to rate this game.. its my first review here and I want to say that this is masterpiece I love free roam games where you can actually move around, look underskirts, find panties, smell them etc... this game completes me (literally) i played Lucky Mark before and Amnesia really raise the bar for future games , the free roam is pretty good with absolute stunning renders... the story awesome at least for now, but i would like for the MC to be more brave and ask some questions about what happened to him he is acting a bit retarded.
Every girl has different personality which is really good as they all act different like real a person would do, Kate is charming, adorable, always with a smile on her face and compassionate , Elena on the other hand is pretty badass girl it really shows dominance and i totally love that. Also she is the most pretty one (my preference) the mother is not that hot but everyone has a taste i suppose.
The current state of the game is pretty good.
The grammar i don't have a problem with it as it really doesn't bother me or change the mood also i'm pretty bad at it too so I can't talk about it.
The teasing really builds up sexual pleasure and the dev is making pretty good job with it, overall I give it 5 stars because its one of the few games i really enjoy playing!! Keep it up !!

Things I like in this game;
1, Models are really sexy, the developer really know how one women should looks like.
2. The scenes are animated and very good the quality of the images are very high.
3. Game play, yes this is a game where you have to play so you can unlock everything, not like others where you have to choose 2 options and the outcome is always the same

Things I dislike:
1. The story is really stupid and realistic
2. Unrealistic situations. things that will never happen in real life.
3. I found very hard to find some objects and places

I was thinking a while about to write a review,... iam very ambiguous about the game...

First of all, i cant really say "how far" we are with this game... the version number suggests we are late in the game... but it doesnt feel like that, kinda feels like still "early". If you would put me on the spot... i would say, about 40% done maybe? And of course, version numbers means shit.

I played lucky mark, overall i liked it, but there were many things about the game i didnt like... but it was clearly above average, so i watched this one too a while, but waited some time until i decided to play it... so far i dont regret it.

The story overall is... meh, i wasnt a fan of "amnesia" plots in the first place..., films, books, doesnt matter, most of the time the "amnesia" plot annoys me. Same here. But i guess... it works. So, meh... but not that bad.Its an easy excuse to make things "mysterious"... well there are better ways to do so. But nevermind... it works, thats it.

What i dont like is the MC... everybody hides many things, not just any things but essential ones... they are family (of course i used a patch, but its clear anyway) and dont act like one. If i were the MC i would say to them "fuck you all, tell me whats going on or iam out of here" family or not... sorry i cant stand such a behaivior. And it makes the MC very unbelievable, dont think anybody would act like him if his family would hide just everything and dont talk to him. Only Kate is somewhat ok in this department, but far away from beeing trustworthy.

Yeah i get it, its kind of the story, to live with amnesia in an "not trustworthy" environment, but as the MC i would act in a whole other way, and i think you should give the players some options to choose in the dialogues, and not just to get points for different lewd scenes.

The MC is weak too, way too weak, he is overall a slave to his mother and sister. Doest or question anything. There are more scene where i rolled with my eyes than not. Told myself so many times "man up and say something, come on" But... no... and it doesnt match how you can act then with the girls if its getting lewd... there he is overly confident. Either he is shy and weak, or very confident and tough, it cant be both. More than once i thought he has a split personality, but maybe it is that way? But i dont think the author is good enough to pull that off... cause the overall writing is not so good.

The dialogues are overall not that good... below average i would say. grammar is not good (but i dont judge here, mine isnt good either, not my native speech) in comparsion to lucky mark, i get the feeling the english translation was made by another writer. Dont know about that... but the dialogues are not the same niveau. And nothing to laugh either.. there are some attempts to put humor in the dialogues, but no, they arent funny. The Monologues are jsut too much with no usefull infos in it... at some point i just skipped them, cant stand it to read 10 minutes about oggeling breasts. Yeah, i can see them myself. And the other monolgues where the mc is reminiscing what happened is useless too... cause, it just happened while i played. I dont need to reminisice what happened 5 minutes ago. Doesnt add anything good to the game.

The sandbox and free roams are really bad... the game would be far better without them, or you need to make them way better. For me, like this, a HUGE minus to the game.


Now the really really good parts.

The characters have a great varity, in looks and personality, and all of them are interesting... i really want to know what they are hiding, what the connection between the mc and the other girls is and so on (obviously there was already an sexual relationship with all of them in the past, but its "gone" cause of the amnesia)

About the looks... wow, just wow... the models are awesome. Really really great work, everysingle character in this game looks just great. Even the mc has natural good looks, just the "average" guy but thats perfect. Still good looking, but not the overly perfect guy with an already installed chick magnet.

I just unlocked the gallery via mod and saw some scenes i didnt get in my playthrough... like the kate scene in the bed of the mc. But man... fuck... maybe the best lewd scene i ever saw in any VN so far. The animations, uff... fucking great. and i have to say, not the same "pussy" you can see over and over again in every single VN around here... no, its realistic, and unique looking... Evas too btw... in most other VNs every single girl has the exact same pussy model... always wondered why, only differences was pubic hair. And to be perfectly clear, yeah it does matter in a lewd game, very much so.

Overall the animations are just freaking awesome. Top work here... this game is worth playing just for the looks and animations, so much is clear.

What i also like about the game, the overall sexual tension all around... the mc is attracted to all the girls, and of course he is, who would not? And here the amnesia got the only GOOD thing about the plot... the mc KNOWs he shouldnt feel like that towards his family, but cause of the amnesia the "blood relation" does not kick in and so he isnt really conflicted with it... for the mc, all the girls and ladys are basicaly strangers he just met, family or not doesnt realy matter in the sexual atttraction this way. Makes it plausible i would say. Of course he know its his family, but the feelings are different. But other than that... we all know, there was something going on between the mc and all the family members before the amnesia, so... overall it doesnt matter that much in the end. But it makes it more believable that the MC is attracted by his family members... most of the "incest" games here are kinda dumb, out of the blue the MC wants to bang his sisters, mothers and so on... and all of them want that too of course. The build up here is way different and more plausible, i like that.

Many people around here i imagine would complain about the "teasing" and "blue balled" part of the game, but to be honest, its fucking great and works perfect... everything else would just feel off. The DEV sure knows how to build up sexual tension. really nice. I like that.

Overall, i think i like the game, but its hard to decide how many stars i should give, as i mentioned before... It has many good things (animations, renders, character varity, sexual tension, iam really curious what everyone hides... some things are obvious, some not) but although there are many bad things... (the dialogues are not good, the mc doesnt act consistent, the choices are just for points to differ the lewd scenes, nothing more... no influence on the behaivior of the characters or the story, the bad sandbox and free roams and some other things)

So... its kind of in the middle of a good and a bad game, normally i would say 3 stars, but man... the animations and renders and sexual tensions are so good, would be a shame to give just 3 stars for them, but overall they cant really make me forget about the bad things... so not 3 stars, not 5 either, so iam giving 4 stars, but overall i would say 3,5 would fit better, cause there are really many bad things about the game, just as much as good things.. but the good things a REALLY good, just awesome so to speak, while the bad things are things that you can see in so many other games around... so, yeah 4 stars will make it. To get 5 you must get rid of the bad things i mentiones, especially the bad sandboy, free roams, and inconsitency of the MC.

One word about this game animations and sex concept is muah!!!

Yeah u heard me guys rt it has a darker fetish so not much i mean but i hope dev bring more in this categories cuz ofc i except SLEEPSEX PENETRATING and guys who don't like this there also a option to avoid so yeah win win for all.
-camera angles are good
-this game renders mhmm....so good and hot and looks real sometimes i love especially fun with mum .
-this story seems darker and it has a lot of potential for a big story cuz giving hints for future updates in middle of some missions that games more interesting

-very very negative in the game is the sex scenes can be triggered cuz there is no clue for it yk
For example eva scene in dressing room. It frustrated me so much. That concept is poorly written in a script dev. I hope u will remove that dev cuz those who play will skip all scenes and game will end and people will get frustrated and give negative review about it so yeah that's major negative.
-its a open world game that means mc can go anytime or any room he want rt ? But y in the nights its not like that yk .i excepted to rape mum and sis during sleep .that was disappointed.
-just 6 sex scenes bruh i mean that's not much negative but as per 0.8 excepted more that's all iam saying
-sometimes there are useless missions like the eliza cleaning room yk except that parlor card u can make it so simple cuz its hard to search in that i searched google to find answers.

I liked the first game, but man so far Alex hit the ball out of the park with this one.
The animations are top notch, yes amnesia might be a bit of a cliche, but so far the story is pretty good and i felt like i wanted to know more.
The eye candy is also top dolla.

I rarely make a fuss about sandbox but this is one of the games where the sandbox is awful, changing time countless times picking items for barely anything happening after that, i love the animations and models, the story seems promising as well, but sandbox just ruins it, please atleast make the sandbox better or put something worthwhile after we are done doing all the awful tasks

I liked the game, but it should be easier to understand when doing the game's missions!
It's a little messy, and could have a little more freedom when it comes to messing with the girls!

However, the pictures are really stunning!

So, the renders are pretty good. A bit over the top with the camera effects sometimes (Depth of field, focus, that sort of thing). But a stylistic choice

And the models are good. Too good even. Which I know sounds weird.
But, the mother (or landlady or whatever), first of, looks too...edgy?
She has a white highlights in her hair. Not grey streaks. White highlights. And the hair is styled VERY sexily, along with that 3d render perfect skin. And this basically makes her look like she's mid twenties, at most.
One of her daugthers, looks older than her, and also has impossibly well styled hair.
So a bit weird. But not bad. Stylistic choices.

But the actual bad part? The story and the writing.
You wake up, from a coma, and in 30 minutes of gameplay, they didn't talk about why, despite you, the MC, asking about what put him in the coma.
The mother and the sister, are basically whining the entire time, about how hard it was, they hard to sell everything, all conveniences are gone, etc.
Which is annoying to read. It takes to long to get to a point. Essentially 20 lines of dialogue, when 3 or 4, could have been enough. And this is a big negative for me.
But the dumbest part?
Once you get to the freeroam portion, you see yours and everybody elses bedroom. And man, I wish I had those. MC has a bigass flatscreen, a laptop, a doublebed, couch, private small fridge. All kinds of decoration. And everything, is essentially too rich, for a family that "Had to sell everything to afford treatment".
It's just dumb.

Maybe the story clarifies more things, overall. Maybe the writing gets better. But I was bored enough that I tabbed out every few lines of dialogue, and played something else.

And it's a bit of a shame, because I do like the models, even if they are somewhat too perfect, and "try-hardy".

I tried this for the second time now, but it was even worse. The story goes nowhere, the playing is boring (as most sandbox games), so this is really not my cup of tea. Now it will end up in my Not Fun-folder.

The reason it doesn't get 1* is the graphics that are good and worth one star more. So that was the conclusion!

I have followed the game since its start and the only one thing that is consistent with the game is it getting smaller and worse with every update. Both this game and AWAM are good at blue balling its fanbase with every update.
What's more funny is the reviews with people creating fake accounts to up the rating of the game by giving 5 stars with reasons that aren't even in the game , its either them or those who have barely started to play the game , everytime the rating goes down which the game deserves.

Every single update comes with even more disappointment and bigger time gap. The only good thing about the game is its renders , other than that its a total money milking bullshit . The story progression is sextremely slow and it seems maybe after a decade you will get some content worth playing.

Quite good quality of renders and animations.
Some nice audio, like music and effects but not really much voices.
Dev is trying different styles of game play. We will see how it will evolve .
It seems to be planned as a really big project and the game is still in an very early state.

Having played almost every decent game on here, I can safely say that this game has the best animations bar none. The render quality is also up there with the best. My only qualm would be the pan up scenes that seem like a waste of time. Also the story progression seems a bit on the slower side. But the story itself is way more believable than 90% of the stuff on here. A solid 4.75 for me.

Just replayed this again from the start after a long time.. I remember now why this is one of my all time favorites!

- The animations are LEGENDARY.. seriously unmatched.
- The girls are HOT, love the pan-up intro/scene intro shots of them.
- The music/sound is very well done, not only are the tracks good but are used in an awesome way. Alexandra staring me down whilst that badass track starts playing.. I had shivers.

For starters i know that SUPERALEX has been slow. Very slow, but i also understand that he had to remake a lot of things to transition the game from a VN to a Free-roam game, i think that in itself took a long amount of time/effort. Plus he was working alone, but not anymore, I hear he hired 2 more people (they are still in training) to help with development.

The size of his games are a little concerning too, they have a history of beign BIG, there are like 6 scenes and the size is already 6Gb, could be that he uses 100% uncompressed images, but no one can deny the quality of them, they are one of the best renders I have seen in a game.

I don't understand why he wants to add so many characters in this game as well, i remember reading in his patreon page that he plans on adding like 60+ characters, that's a LOT, more characters than a lot of other AAA (if thats a thing lol) porn games

But I see a very promising future for this game, one thing i think he will need to do is change the naming system, many people must read 0.8 and think the game is 80% complete, which is far from the truth, but anyways.

I really like the game, the characters so far and the setting, and I would like to recommend the game right now, but I do give this advice with a warning that the game is not yet loaded with sex content and stuff, so if you just want the sex and stuff wait a little more for other updates.

Why Oh why did this have to go sandbox? It was perfectly feasible to make events trigger by completing tasks, choices and using a day count. I'll have to agree that Super Alex took the milky and lazy way out by using the sandbox grind to pad the game time. Other than that it's a perfectly rendered, written and coded Renpy. All the scenes are fappable, even the short shower ones, that's the level of erotica this game has reached.

The main attraction here are the renders, anims and h-scenes. One of, if not the best on this site. The models are all unique (some of them may have been customised by the dev himself) and gorgeous as heck. There's even a Gal Gadot clone though she only features in a TV show within the game. I'm guessing she'll be a fuckable character at some point though.

There are two sex scenes so far. The first one is an interactive cunnilingus scene. The second one is a long femdom rape scene, i.e the PC is drugged, tied up and (vaginally) fucked by his hot boss. I think both are fappable but obviously ymmv for the femdom rape.

I hate the sandbox and the quests that require you to click everything on a map as often as possible to progress. Don't care much for the amnesia plot device either. Land-people fetish does nothing for me, but I don't mind. The story does it's job for the most part, functioning as a vehicle for the porno instead of trying to make you care about things that aren't related to fucking or trying to fuck 3d sex dolls.

Writing is as good as can be reasonably expected from a porno game developed by a non- native english speaker. Characters are fleshed out enough to be human-like and distinct from each other, but not overdone to the point where the porno story artificially injects drama or complications into itself to try and get you to think of them as actual people you actually care about.

I really want to give it a 5/5. The dev's previous game was my intro to this website and I thoroughly enjoyed fapping to the h-scenes in it using a cheat mod that nullified the atrocious grind. Besides that, Super Alex seems like a cool, straightforward guy who genuinely loves doing this work and engages with his patrons regularly.

The -1 star is for the sandbox gameplay introduced with the 0.8 update, which is completely unnecessary and a Bad Idea. This is a more or less simple and linear (<which I like btw!) "get rich again while fucking hot girls" story best presented in the visual novel format with "choices" acting as a fetish and/or girls selection menu. The sandbox forces us to spend time frantically clicking every thing and location in a map looking for events to trigger.

I'll edit the rating higher a year or so later if the game at that time has minimal grind and a more convenient mechanism for progressing the story (or at least a proper hints system). If not, well I guess there's always the walkthrough/gallery mod.

So fare I like the renders (which are really great). Sound effects are good.
But it feels still buggy. Pencils are not in present, maybe it has to do with the fact that she stole my laptop aswell. Guess even if you get the quest there can be more then 1 week delay before some items are there.
After upgrading to 8D most of the bugs were gone. so the next line can be removed"To much repetitive scenes with no clear direction what to do next."

The main story seems the be slow as not much progress is made on that. Relations with the sisters seems to be getting better. (Also i hope new work opportunities will arise)

Update : changed the rating to 3 starts. I like the renders and the sound effect but it's been 5,5 years and there is still not much of a story nor scene's . I mean you have a lot of open points nothing is progressing. You did work but not earning needed money (probably also due to no progress of the story so the money is not needed) ....
