Isn't there the Iris scenes returning this update? Nonetheless he said in the report before the current one that he wants to focus on new scenes and I prefer that as well.

Same, for me it make more sense to work on new scenes that fit the new narrative of the game then to bring back old scenes that may not fit that well into the new story just for the sake of bringing them back.
Maybe add them into an extras section in the main menu for old scenes not remastered and not returning for people who miss them. Or hold them in reserve and repurpose them into new story sections later on when it makes sense.

so far dev has not used AI for major scenes . also devs wording makes it seem like these are proper animations and not AI . this could be cope but i guess all we can do is wait till the update comes out.

I'd just like to also clarify I don't see it as a bad thing per say. (As an animator it still makes me a tiny bit uneasy,And can't hold back my snarky comments sometimes. but probably the same way photographers felt when Photoshop came into the scene way back ). The developer has I believed talked about how hard they found making animations for the game, or at least just the amount of time it takes to be a bit much. I feel new tools that help game developers create games they otherwise would not be able to do is a good thing. To me this is a good use of Generative AI, taking something you created and improving it.
I just hope Steam doesn't have to wait too long for the next update. Thankfully a lot of the conversation on steam has turned more positive for now.

You are informed ingame which option is tied to which path,
you just have to Read the Dialogue carefully.
Ps, The "Skip" button is Not your friend.

The only things that are not really shown that well in the game is "Loyalty". Currently there is mostly only ways to lose loyalty with the girls. Beyond a single +1 loyalty by catching Kate when she falls, and able to get +3 loyalty with Joan by choosing the first option three times when presented with three choices in texts with her once you get the cell phone the first time .
How much that will affect the game later on we don't know yet, so far the game only changes some minor things like dialogue in scenes. And some phone text/images sent to you.
