Outdated walkthrough mods will sometimes work right up until new content starts. No need to put the dude down.

I was just about to do the same thing because I'm starting a new save.

Only if the earlier content wasn't changed. If you use a 0.2 walkthrough mod when for example in 0.3 it changes how the intro plays out, maybe there are new scenes or scenes taken away etc, then the mod can actually skip that new content or cause errors if anything is missing.

Yeah which is why I always read the game changelog and read the mod thread before I let my impatience control me and just play with an outdated mod, or without.

Each update seems to have quite a bit of content. Is just story content atm. (don't know about most recent though). Which imo is fine I play games for story. if I wanted mindless fap I would use pornhub.

As for this update, it does have over 20 animations, so should be something. And quite a bit of under the hood work and improvements. (hence the need to restart cause code has been changed too much and variables have been optimised).

Typically this part of development is not seen by players but given for porn games they basically go from prototype to full build with iterations that people can play you get to see it. And well if there are issues with code best to get it fixed early than late.
