Android Emulator for PC

Hello. I did some searching and did not locate this question (Yes I know the 1st person to read this will know exactly where I should have looked somehow but I did not and therefore did not find the answer) so I am asking.

What emulator do people use/suggest for emulating phone games on PC? To my understanding this would be APK files.

I have read many different answers while searching , however there does not seem a clear answer. From what I can tell the two most suggested are Bluestacks and NOX. This was fine until I came across articles and posts about what is packaged with them such as malware,bloatware, crypto miners or crypto wallets.

So my question what should I use? Either of the two I mentioned , or perhaps a better alternative.

I use Nox, but there's also Blue Tacks or stax or osmething like that. I've tried using it in the past and never could get anything to work on it. Nox will play about 70% of everythign I've tried on it. There may be others. Nox you can set up to download stuff straight from the android store but can also play some third party games.
