VN - Ren'Py - Angel in L.A. Vol. 1 [v0.6.6 Rework] [DigiurgeCreations]

First and foremost, if you're considering playing the game, read the tags and most importantly, READ THE DEVELOPER NOTICE AND DISCLAIMER.

As stated on the OP this game uses lots of porn logic to get the MC to agree to participate in most spicy scenarios. It means it's not realistic by any stretch, the MC is a very inexperienced country girl, gullible and easily manipulated. I think Angel is beautiful. She's skinny but has massive tits which I think represents how she's vulnerable while still being a bombshell, or possibly, I'm reading way too much into this porn game.

The animations have come a long way from the old 2 frame animations in previous scenes to FMVs in the last update (0.66). The fact the author manages to create attractive female characters and now videos in such limited engine is commendable. You could argue he should then move to more modern rendering programs but again, why would he pay for that out of his own pocket? He does this for free with what he has.

Anyways, Angel comes to the city to reunite with her dad and brothers after she stayed back with her mom years ago. They are surprised to discover Angel has developed into a beautiful girl over the last few years and struggle to control their urges around her as well as every other man and even some women she meets. Due to her own ignorance and your input she can help others relieve themselves of such struggle.

You can lead Angel on the pure path (top choices), naive path (middle choices) and experimental path (bottom choices). I'd suggest you stick to always choosing the top option if you want Angel to remain innocent to a degree. She will still have to do some sexual stuff but she can keep her purity intact. It gets trickier if you go the naive or the experimental routes. Her corruption is much faster on these what changes is basically how she reacts to the scenes, what she says and goes through her mind. She's more active rather than passive on the experimental path and acts a bit sluttier but the scenes don't change much. You CAN still reject most encounters but she still has to give up some of her innocence but at least not completely so if you want her to do mild stuff and keep her virginity then pure route is the way to go. On the other ones there's more hardcore stuff she may be required to do so be careful.

Overall, if you want to see stories about beautiful naive girls being coerced into sexual situations for the silliest of reasons, including plenty of fetishes in display and very hot scenes then you've come to the right place.

Pretty amazing game with potential for so much. Development is a bit on the slower side, but the game is great and may potentially become a series. 100% recommend a try but keep an open mind to the development cycle and read through the development notes in the thread. It explains alot about the game and its hopeful future.

This was a very good game if you are into naiveite, shame, and humiliation. I wish the corruption was a little slower, but it is still better than 90% of the games out there. Reminds me a lot of the Devin games for reference.

I like this game so far and I am looking forward to more content.
Pros- Angel is attractive, and well drawn.
Personally I like it that the path is available were she is naive and gets taken advantage of, without being a real slut.
The developer is letting her corruption evolve slowly and doesn't go straight into being hard core.
Old guys get to deceive and molest her.
There are other attractive female characters (especially Daisy) that could be developed in the future, for side stories or involvement in later sex scenes along with Angel.

Review of v.0.6.5.

I really like this game.
I've been following it's development for a long time, ever since it's first release in fact.
The reworked version is a big improvement and a great decision by DigiUrge.
I enjoy the story and the amount of choices available to the player, along with Angel's character design.
All the male characters are sex crazed deviants who consistently sexually harrass Angel. It's really a matter of taste, if you are into that sort of thing or not. I happen to love it.
The game seems to wanna cover a broad variety of fetishes. So there will probably be a little something for everybody.
I only have two gripes with this project:

1) The choices are rather inconsequentual. You can boost one of three qualities in Angel with every choice. Purity, Naivete and Experimentality. However, the accumulation of these traits seem to have no bearing on following scenes. So far it's simply a question of which scenes the player wants Angel to experience. But maybe the accumulated qualities will have an effect sometime down the line.
2) The time between updates. The progress of the game is very slow. So if you need constant progression in a project, this game will test your patience.

All in all, a really solid project. I'm really looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Just discovered this gem.

The premise and story 5/5 It's what such games should be, nothing pretentious. A corruption game, a hot, innocent and naive big breasted girl from rural USA goes to LA where she's seen as a defenceless prey. But it all depends on us, if we want her to be a bit stronger and resist the predators or just be a perfect victim on the road of debauchery.
The models 5/5 The MC is very beautiful and hot, same for the other female characters.
As a minus, the text is a bit difficult to read, it doesn't make the game unplayable, but it should be fixed if possible, by adding some white shadow or something to the fonts.
Content 4/5 Should be more after so many years of development, but it's clearly done in the spare time, so I shouldn't complain. If one picks the game now for the first time, there is a decent amount of content.
As for the sound, there's no sound whatsoever, from what I've noticed. Not really needed for this kind of game, so it's worth mentioning, but it shouldn't change the score.
The few animations are basic, but the scenes themselves are very hot and kinky, so animations or not, what matters is the scenes and the accompanying dirty talk are fire.
This game should definitely be more popular, it has a lot of potential as the developer has the right skills to write and produce a very hot game, but it needs to be developed faster and at a steady pace. Maybe add some sound to increase the appeal, although the things that really matters in such games are already present, we just need more of it.

I´m very disappointed by this game.
Simple graffix I can get behind, if the story is good or even acceptable.

The big thing is, and therefore only 1 star, sexual harrassment from the get go, an attempted rape, though prevented by a, I think future friend early in the game.

Sexual harrassment by the principle followed by plotting sexual exploitation of a student by teachers on the first day at school, caused by her dad.

Attempted rape by 2 "fellow" students before the start of the first class.
And again on day 2.

Humiliation by her own family.

Completed (and forced by the game) sexual abuse by a teacher on day 3.

These are no fetishes of the religiously oversheltered FMC.
No possibilities to opt out of things happening.
Forced decisions/interactions in a corruption game are allways a big turnoff!

I have followed this for sometime now. The art has improved greatly, without sacrificing the original story, it in fact progresses to the action a lot faster. A great looking MC with no issues exploring some very interesting fetishes. A fantastic passion project.

Cute corruption game about a naive mega titted teen who moves to LA to live with her perverted father and two brothers. We quickly find our heroine, who has less common sense than a Squirrel, getting into numerous scenarios where horny teachers and students want to have sex with her.

Pros:
1- Angel is adorable. Kudos to the dev for making her tits huge, but still within the realm of believability.

2- There are numerous perverted scenes to get your rocks off to, including old men, BBC, and bestiality.

3- Diverse looking characters.

Cons:
1- The writing, although decent, could be better. I feel it misses the mark by failing to take advantage of the absurdity of it all, and could have been much funnier than it was. You do corruption seriously or for laughs. Although I believe it was written for laughs, it kind of falls short of the mark for me.

2- Renders and sex animations are plain. It's a shame the sex animations couldn't have been of higher quality. A better animation system would have really made this game special.

A really good game. If you like corruption, and can handle bestiality, then I highly recommend this one.

The art and writing are both substandard, and for some odd reason there is no gallery, which is made worse by the limited save spots, but the two worst parts of the game were:

1) The readability. The text is all orange or pink, which was an odd choice and aesthetically unappealing but not really problematic in itself. What was problematic was, the creator offered neither a text box/background nor a text outline, making it very difficult to read. Worse, all thoughts are written in miniaturized italics, exacerbating the problem.

2) In terms of games and entertainment, "adult" does not mean tasteless, but the creator tried in every way possible to make the game as tasteless as possible.

Also, be aware that there are one or more scenes of what the author calls "mild" bestiality. As far as the first went, I chose to see it. Turns out, it was an erect dog graphically titty-raping MC before covering her in a huge amount of cum. To call it "mild" was odd at best.

It's a pretty good corruption focused story. Girls parents get divorced then she moves in with her dad once shes 18. It proceeds pretty slowly but its one I'm keeping an eye on. Currently nothing actually happens except some harassment.

I remember playing this years ago, and I thought then it was okay-ish. Nothing special, but you know, it could turn out to become something good.

Now, after many years of silence, suddenly there's a 'rework'.
The rework seems to focus mainly on the visuals, but in my opinion, the dev should have focused on the writing, because that's just bad and cringy.

Example:
Barkeeper: 'Hey, do you want a COCK - tail? He-he-he!'
Sidekick girl: 'Yeah, we want a COCK - tail! He-he-he!'
Main girl: 'Um, I dunno?'
Barkeeper: 'Let me just whip it out - I mean: whip it up for you. He-he-he!'

This level of cringe, especailly with the priest saying to the main girl: 'God gave you big breasts to please men", sums this game pretty well up.

Now, if the graphics were any good, this game good pass as a cheap porn. But even after the 'rework', the graphics are still outdated, and just not good enough.

Part 1 review

The model for Angel is a cute one, her dialogue and the interaction with the NPC's has improved in the latest revision. This is supposed to be based on a IRL girl. I gave it 3 stars for the Angel model and the 3 paths in game +1 star for the latest revision. It's still early in production so let's see how it develops from here.
Revision 0.6.5: I originally ripped this one for the Cringe factor. The Developer PM'd me for an explanation of why I ripped on the game so badly. After offering a few pointers the game was revised so I revised my review to the one above. I ignored the game each time I saw it come up in the notifications until now. I decided to give it another go. The dialogue I could not get past again. The "Midwestern" dialect used reminded me of stereotypical "Hillbilly Redneck" dialect used as derogatory and offensive. I have lived in the midwestern US and folks have a distinctive accent but still speak American English. Only in jest would one say, "Angel, yous shurly got some purty tits." The bus scene is still pretty much sexual assault/rape with no choice. You can however refuse the bus driver, but there's still a bug that ignores that choice in the back of the bus when Angel gets unwillingly groped by the origin two creeps. So in conclusion I've deducted 2 stars from my former review. This game still needs a ton of work and will probably end up abandoned. It started out as a basically rapey kink VN masquarading as a corruption/incest VN. The priest/confession scenes are total cringe.

What a promising story we have here (even if we have been informed that Dev. is making a new version of this game in three parts actually). Here are my main impressions after having played V0.5.3 until the end :

PROS
- strong story, no hesitation, we see Dev. has made a deep work on his project.
- characters are all interesting, all very different in the way they react in situations.
- nice rendering in most scenes, original point of views in dialogs

CONS
- some colours are a little bit too overexposed in some scenes, some details are difficult to see, but not often.
- a lot of repetition in girls' dialogs (maybe like in real life, so ...)
- faces expressions could be developed to be more accurate with dialogs.

Conclusion:
We are just at beginning of a story which has a lot of routes possible for main character ANGEL(A). I like very much the 3 levels of possible reactions of answers she can choose in order to initiate changes in her shyness and virginity with other characters in the future.
I pu 5 stars because I'm waiting for next version of this game, not yet available, for developing Angel's story with addictive pleasure !

Review of v0.3
Really great start so far with loads of sexy scenes and a big cast of characters already. I believe this dev should be supported. He's hard working and super quick to respond to messages. He listens to feedback and scene ideas and implements them. He's already improved his Daz skills since 0.1 and Angel now looks even better with more natural looking (still huge) boobs.

If you're a fan of the busty innocent schoolgirl getting slowly corrupted story you'll love this game as the writing is spot on and is set up perfectly for her slow corruption to unfold. Or you can keep her pure but where's the fun in that!

This is a review of v0.3.

So far this game is shaping up really really nicely. Background is solid and the setup of locations and characters is proceeding nicely. Other characters also look good and are different enough that they're easy to tell apart. Writing and English are strong. Dev is getting better at renders with each release.

The three paths and affection/contempt system are straightforward and I think will be a good structure for the game.

Oh, and Angel is cute and hot, especially after some physics were added to her breasts in v0.3.

The big thing for me is that her innocence and naivete are believable enough. So far her "adventures" haven't been too forced and she's not rushing into anything on any of the paths yet.

There's the odd minor inconsistency and the renders are still a relative weakness, but I'm giving this 5 stars anyway based on how well the premise has been setup and potential for the future of the game. (And because I really like it!)
