VN - Ren'Py - Angst [v0.61] [Falling Bear Studio]

Another disaster waiting to happen, as all these games end in. Honestly I don't see why anyone would willingly destroy their own marriage. Bored of incest porn? Addicted to gambling? Who knows.

The renders and animations are decent, but that doesn't make a good game. But characters do, and it's hard to like either the husband or wife. Husband is too indecisive and has little mind of his own. Wife is the one suggesting everything, always asking to take things further.

The writing is on the wall but both seem too stupid to avoid it, and the beginning of the game gives away that they will not avoid it.

Review based on version 0.3

They have a beautiful and intimate relationship; the game is flawless in its portrayal of their bond. Claire is very sweet, and the MC is relatable—he’s not a 'loser' archetype—which is all good
The relationship progression feels natural and smooth; it’s well-executed in that regard

However, I wasn’t a fan of how it opened with a brief 'one year later' flash-forward; it undermined the sense of curiosity and discovery in the experience
the gameplay is simplistic. The visuals have fundamental issues: The render quality is poor, facial expressions are buggy, there is no music or sound, and the animations are problematic

Summary: The character personalities and relationships are very good, but the technical/visual side has serious flaws
That said, I’m hooked on their dynamic and how sweet Claire is. I’m going to keep following it. 6-7/10

I will update my review in the future, and if these issues are resolved, I am very much inclined to upgrade it to a 5-star rating

Nothing new in a simple NTR game, basic, very poor graphics, fast story, characters without character, yet another useless husband, now a standard in these games, zero choice options, the real mistake of the game, no choice, we are faced with yet another kinetic already prescribed, the prologue makes no sense, it is practically the spoiler of the whole game

-if you are netorase or ntr fan you gonna love this game
-if you are ntr/nts hater you better ignore this threat
-character designs need more work
-story pace is little bit fast
- basically its weaker version of Exciting games with x10 faster story telling!

Review of the version 0.2
It's a very small game at this stage - there is a couple of sex scenes between husband and wife and that's it. There's however many dialogues and they are good. I loved the scenario so far. The couple is very loving and the progression is not too fast or too slow, just perfect.

So far there's no cuckold vibes - the wife started teasing her husband with other guys, but only because he likes it. She gets excited by it too - but still she is doing it only because the husband likes it. She thinks of him first and doesn't get carried away. So far there's only flirting, no kisses or touches. There's no humiliation and it doesn't seem like there will be in the future. And I hope it stays like that.

The game lacks sounds entirely, but I won't lower the score for that as I understand that the game is at very early stage.

Wife's model is sexy, I could only wish for some pubes, but that's just my fetish.

Most importantly, I really like the vibe in the game so far and I hope it won't be changed into the usual NTR stuff - I hope the couple will stay loving and understanding.

A typical cuckhold story about a husband suffering from performance issues who discovers that he gets turned on when other men come on to his hot wife.

Pros:

1- The story is unoriginal but it held my attention. The couple obviously care for one another and the story develops at a natural pace.

2- The wife is quite attractive. Too bad poor textures hurt her overall appearance.

3- Some really nice set designs and visuals.

4- Sex animations were hit and miss. Some looked very good while others were of poor quality.

5- Kudos to the dev for not giving the husband a five pound cock. It was normal in size and small when soft. Well done.

Cons:

1- Lighting was sub par on a number of renders.

2- No music or sound.

3- There were some awkward cut scenes.

4- The overall dialogue was mediocre with way too many "Hons" , and "Luv's", making it feel forced and unnatural. Also, numerous grammatical errors where there are missing periods to end sentences. No excuse for this.

5- Errors with talking to self where some text was not coded properly, causing confusion. Using (parenthesis) would have eliminated that.

6- No option to lighten the opacity of the dialogue box, which was too dark at times.

7- You can change the husband and wife's names but it doesn't always reflect in game, causing confusion. A simple text edit fixes this.

8- It's kinetic, so there are no choices or paths.

Final Verdict- Semi hard.

Not bad but can certainly be improved. The story shows promise but the dialogue needs help. I would suggest the dev get someone to assist with the dialogue*. Also, some renders were also a bit disappointing and the issue with inconsistent lighting needs to be addressed.
