This may have an obvious question but if a game is animated will that mean the sex scenes are all fully animated and not a wink of an eye etc.

It just means that there is animation present in the game - it doesn't matter how little, like the blink of an eye, or how much.

An example of pseudo-animated game would be Catgirl's Questlist, where only the battler sprites are animated (using MV's side battle system).

It's a nice touch, but there aren't actual animations at all - like CarbonBlue said, it doesn't specifically indicate that sex scenes are animated.

Animation doen't indicate that sex scenes are animated, but normally you can assume animations mean sex scenes are. Check the reviews ctrl + f "anim" and see what people are saying, if they don't say anything search the thread for animation. If there's little you'll have people talking about it, if there's lots then you'll see that.
