Do we have more freedom in chapter 2? Chapter 1 was more linear. Anna couldn't really visit other places freely, had to stick to one quest.

The Asian contract could have been much better with teasing and stuff but it straight jumped to sex!No emotion,just pure fuck fest
Even Alfred scene was not at all good!
The only good part abou tthe update was seeing Anna in that skimpy gold outfit again otherwise the whole update was short and not upto the mark

Yes, until Ep.18, I have 5 different saves and one of five saves is lesbian only but the episodes 19 and 20 destroy lesbian because it has to sex with guys (options unavoidables...)what is this ?why I have to watch a forced scene with an ugly old man even I neglect him all the game from the beginning

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but the latest version v20 replaced the last three scenes in the gallery of v19 with three new scenes; rather than adding to the gallery it looks like they were overwritten.

tbh i didn't like 70-80% of the last updates. the exciting ones get boring and stale with too much of the same stuff, the new ones are often not interesting to me. she has basically always the same expressions, nearly the same positions and during other creators animate the sex, kissing, tit suck and even the cumming deepsleep here didn't really improve. but neither did other older creators with similar extremely sexy fmc's.
i think we should all appreciate and give a big thumbs up that he still is on this game and also giving relative regular updates. unlike many others. (for me about 15/20 games i was interested in got abandoned even before it got interesting, there are still too few tags... all reasons i am not as often here anymore. cause it sucks. some creators just lure you to spend money and then drop the project and go silence. i REAYLL hate that and think its not okay. if they drop a projeect and didn't wanted any money for it i wouldn't complain about this at all. so DeepSleep is a much better example of a more loyal, good creator - but he still doesn't expand more areas, settings, genres, characters, positions, animations, styles etc. so its getting bland.)
i personally don't like her short, modern hair also. i appreciate the two other hairstyles way more but would also appreciate to see new feminine and less "modern" hairstyles.
also for other female characters: for me beside anna only her sister becca (which is basically more kinky anna) and two other women which just appeared for only one game update are/were intersting. the others i don't find attractive/sexy and it sucks they get more attention - on the other hand i appreciate them so that anna (and becca) can stand out more.
i would be so happy and might support AEA again if AEA would be on the same quality and animation level like "Steps of Debauchery" with some more curvy women like "Breaking Ties" and with more really disgusting males like "Lustful Voyage". Give women - especially anna - finally better and more nipples like comic creators like Daval3D or rro.lled have. - But please don't take Daval3Ds content/stories... rro.lled on the other hand are often better and more varied.
Explore new poses and setting ideas. Not that it isn't there (browsed through DAZ and other sites and there is enough room to expand)
Anna (AEA) deserves all this and more.
Maybe DeepSleep should focus more on kinetic novels, shortstories or comics to make Anna shine in different scenarios and with some slightly improved features (like better expressions and nipples) without the need to animate and making too many routes which won't satisfy everbody.
I think the last update had BIG potential but it went lackluster and more of the same and even cutting out some stuff like creampies etc. I would still rate it better than some other updates (like the really underwhelming african tribe one) but even newer updates with Alfred, Benjamin, Timothy and especially John etc get less and less interesting during new ones like the drug-boys are totally unnecessary (cause there are already enough games with young cocky boys and extremely buff businessmen"... ) and not interesting for me.
And when there is a poteential interesting (at least interesting looking) char like earl he gets the jeremy treatment: being the boring average "bad guy" who likes BDSM and to be bad and blackmailing... blablabla... personally never liked Jeremy cause of that but he was at least something different back then - unlike beachboys, durgboys and muscular fitness guys...
i was quite calm this year and was quite positive the last year but since like around covid the game gets less and less interesting and stale in improvements (like expressions and animations etc).
I just come back to see anna and hear the music which i connect to this game and cause i wan't to respect DeepSleeps "loyality". But beside that? I don't want to be negative but its underwhelming since years now most of the time.
Maybe it would be better to move on, but there are unfortunately barely any games like AEA and barely any creators like Deep.

Deleted Steps of Debauchery for the same reason as Anna (after the last update) - forced sex scenes.

So what's the state of this game now? I remember I quit playing some time after a new creator (?!) had taken over, and the game started after a basement shootout?! I recall that from each update I couldn't restore the last save point, and that the game didn't have a file to be loaded from where it ended last, and with no skip-option I had to click what felt like a thousand times to get to where I was last. So I just gave it up.
I'm playing on mac tho, in case that has something to do with the issues I had

the render quality looks great, i like the face and hairstyle of the fmc but she is way too slim for me personally and AEA anna is more my "type of girl" if you know what i mean. but i can see the animations are good. ahhh how i wish Deep would have improved on all fronts a bit more and not just try to make some barely noticable quick/slow animations (but i appreciated the more perspectives in one scene very much one of the biggest good improvements beside the idea of sandbox - which yes i personally like cause it gives a bit of gameplay without being too much gameplay likee too many other games here)

The difference is that in Sandbox, you have a map and need to travel to locations manually, while in VN everything happens automatically.

Sandbox is for the ones who are not interested in the story plot
Sandbox is full of bugs and you remain stuck on a screen without hope to continue the story plot
Saves from sandbox are not compatible with the VN
in short Sandbox sucks because this is linear story with barely no choices
The VN works fine you can start the game from the scratch every time you want or you need to recap previous episodes
there is also a very good VN Renpy version for CH1 in the op
