Not even one comment ago you complained that Antho Heat doesnt have real mechanics and now you are saying that VN games that have less mechanics are better because theres a story included?
Cats Hidden in Paris is in the 75th spot on steam top 250 it lists the following features:

Theres no story and the mechanics inside is literally click on spot, have a timer, get hints.




As i pointed out with the store descriptions the game's have different end goal. Anthro Heat doesnt aim for a sandbox world just to be a sex simulator like Secret Horse Files or the Rack series.
Theres no need for pathfinding as them wandering wasnt a goal.
Character creator would be nice thought this isnt the only sandbox game that doesnt have character creator like Slime Rancher which is the 25th spot on Steam top 250 as a sandbox game.

Cats Hidden in Paris has actual win conditions... You can win in and AND progress in it. It's a proper Puzzle game.
Anthro Heat is a severely lacking "sandbox Sex simulator" that barely delivers and offers very little. It's barely a game.

Probably some body models that glitched? I've seen some stored outside the window on the Gym map, so I imagine the game loads in stuff and just puts it away from your view until its needed.

Also the new exit button doesn't work as it supposed to

Devs are tracking that, just use Alt-F4 to kill the program.

For real, I honestly don't think I'll be pirating this anymore after the Steam release since my biggest hang up was the monthly subscription. I dont recall ever seeing anyone from the heat team or here saying that this is a romance simulator. This was always described as what Rack 2 was supposed to be, a game where you fuck.

Would it be cool if they had customizable ai? No idea and even then it depends if we are talking about AI as in HOMM units or AI as in ChatGPT because i dont want any of the latter.
People who came to this game atleast in my opinion came because it offered us fuck mannequins without unnecesseary fluff like soo many failures like Breeders of the Nephelym or Hunt and Snare.

The win condition of a porn game is usually an orgasm, everything else is an extra.

While i agree the main problem is that you are losing out on one of the sides.
For example lets take the Witcher 3, its a great game according to its ratings so how would you make it into a great porn game without losing either its great game or great porn factor?
Its almost impossible to do it without something feeling like an afterthought at the end of the development cycle.

IF you give people proper freedom to enjoy the sex parts then they will barely touch the story part but if you dont do that then people will get frustrated for not getting to the porn part of the game.
Like look at Koikatsu, the "story" is a filler that most people skip all the way throught along with almost all character interactions just to get to the good parts, the sex.

Infact now that i think about the best porn games i ever played practically didnt have much gameplay at all because everything was focused on fuckery, im not even sure if i ever played a game that had a good gameplay and good porn.

I tried using two phones with OWOTrackVR and 4 Switch Joycons with SlimeVRWrangler all connected to SlimeVR, so in total I had foot, thigh, hip and chest tracking (plus headset and controllers/hand tracking) but it still seemed really bad. Doing anything more complex than moving your hips around or putting your hands/face on stuff seems to break the player body or just not track properly at all.

Hope it improves sooner or later then. By the time I can seriously try playing the game again with full body tracking I'll hopefully have enough disposable income to buy the new VR headset being released by Valve early next year. Currently am using a Quest 2 but Meta/Facebook suck.

Anyone is welcome to archive stuff, I just don't do poses because they get released at like 3+ per week and it would exponentially balloon my proton drive over time (not to mention needing to go back through and remove poses that deprecate). I think the idea of creating a community dropbox for something similar was floated on another forum, but the challenge is finding a service that only allows uploads (not file modification) and does so anonymously.
