Seeking Any adult game after which you've felt the "post masterpiece emptiness" similar to what we feel after games like RDR2, BotW, Persona 5, etc...?

I am not sure whether all of you had this feeling but since it often comes up in online discussions I think at least some of you had it. When you play with a really good game, where the gameplay/story/lore makes you so invested to the game that you actually don't want to finish it because gaming won't be the same after that point and nothing will compare to that experience for a long time.

So did any of you had such feeling regarding to an adult game? And if yes, which one?

For an adult game? Sengoku Rance definitely fit the mark for me. Was expecting a regular adult game- instead, I got something with addicting gameplay, a great cast of characters, and (to me) a fantastic MC. Definitely was sad when I reached the end.

I have played some great games since then, but nothing has filled me with that same sense of giddy pleasure.

In terms of narrative, Saya no Uta. Haven't experienced that level of mind fuck in ages lol

The Last Sovereign did that and is still doing that for me, not gameplay wise but story wise.

It's just so in-depth and entertaining that a part of me wishes it wasn't advertised as a porn game so I could talk to my friends about it.

I'd say Once in a Lifetime by Caribdis. The game has great humor, and it really gets you invested in the story early on. It's sad to see it end (the ending isn't sad, just mean it's a shame to end it, it's great). I hava nothing but great things to say about the game, it's one of the only ones I've decided to put in my signature lol.

Sierra Lee (maker of The Last Sovereign) does great work, as pointed out by Slybeast99 . You could also check out Ouroboros. It seems like a simple game at first but really dives in and well for me, I was more interested in the ending than the art (art is good, but could have been better). I'll admit the ending could have been polished a bit better but it's still sad to end off with.
