Ren'Py Any advice about the error

Next, I always did game translations and always used the Renpy Translation Generator, with the Renpy version the same as the one in (script_version.txt) inside the game's game folder.

I'm using the newest uren.bat out there and it's been doing all the decoding work without any issues.

As soon as I pass it, I launch the game in the Renpy folder.

And when I try to generate the translation, this photo error always occurs.

I already tried to change the version different from the one that came in the game's script_version.txt but it didn't work, it gave an error too.

It turns out that this error does not appear inside the game's executable folder so that I can solve it, so it is difficult to know what is wrong or where the error is.
Usually errors in Renpy games it creates an error script.

A rather meaningless question, do I need to have Python installed on my computer or not?

I'm using windows 10 and everything is updated here.

Any idea what could be happening for giving this error in these new versions of these new games made in Renpy 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3?

[...] with the Renpy version the same as the one in (script_version.txt) inside the game's game folder.
While they are generally the same, relying on the version that you find on the third line of the "log.txt" file is better.
The value in the "script_version.txt" file is the version for which the script have been wrote and, to some extend, it can be a value previous to the version of the engine that will effectively handle the game.

There's no error, at least not coming from the script itself.
The message you get is displayed when the SDK failed, for whatever reason, to starts the new process that will proceed the game.

Since, basically speaking, it's not different from launching the game independently, it's an issue with your OS. My guess goes for your anti-virus ; it's it that is the most likely to stop a sub process to be created.

You already have Python on your computer. It's no "installed" in the way that it isn't immediately usable, but any version of Ren'Py's SDK, and any Ren'Py games come with Python.

It turns out that this Windows 10 drug does not let you disable the antivirus that comes with the operating system, I have already looked for several videos on the internet and there is no way to disable this garbage.

actually if I try to open any game it works, but what I wanted was to translate the game, as I always did with the versions that used python 2.7 that opened without giving an error, it's only the game with the new Python that gives this error there, ja I tried to play the game on a Renpy with a lower version or above the same error.....

I'm going to go back to my windows 7 64 bit and stop downloading these new games, in my old windows 7 the games with Python 2.7 Renpy generated the translations and I never received any error... Thanks friend for the help.(y)

this is from Microsoft:
how to disable windows defender
  • Select Start and type "Windows Security" to search for that app.
  • Select the Windows Security app from the search results, go to Virus & threat protection, and under Virus & threat protection settings select Manage settings.
  • Switch Real-time protection to Off. Note that scheduled scans will continue to run. However, files that are downloaded or installed will not be scanned until the next scheduled scan.

If Tamper Protection is turned on, you'll need to turn Tamper Protection off before you'll be able to turn Real-time protection off.

this is for to make defender to ignore renpy:
Add an exclusion to Windows Security

  • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.
  • Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
  • Select Add an exclusion, and then select from files, folders, file types, or process. A folder exclusion will apply to all subfolders within the folder as well.

you can get more info here

I took windows 10 it to HD crashes all the time I got tired of this windows, it is good for SSD, I went back to windows 8.1 fast, practical, and without constant crashes..... Now I'm going to test all the games that were giving that error I said, and see what happens, then I'll tell you what happened here, thanks for all your attention, friend.(y)
