Hi, i am thinking to make a game with rpgm and live2d models, but i dont know it is a good combination, so you know any game that has it? to know if it looks good or not.
None of the plugins to integrate it seem to currently work. I use live2d for most of my animations and I export each animation as a series of images and then use a plugin to run the animations for it.
My game's here if you're interested in checking it out. (OLD LINK REMOVED BECAUSE MY WEBSITE DIED)
Are you still up for recommendations?
I really like how "The Evil Guards of the Merchant City" implemented it, though I would be lying if I said it couldn't be greatly improved. It prides itself in the variety of randomly generated women, and the ability to custom design one later, but it could stand to trim down the superfluous number of options for some traits and increase the number in others.

Absolutely not deliberate, just replaced it with the itch.io link which is the correct one now. When I started development I made a little website for the game to try to get a wiki up because it's a more open-world sandbox action-rpg and not at all a standard RPG, but then covid hit and destroyed my income so I couldn't afford hosting anymore and the domain was likely snatched up by someone else long ago.
In other news, I managed to actually get the live2d plugin integration working into MV while redoing the plugins and core systems of Horny Mage Academy. It might be able to be used in the combat system revamp in the future, but I'm worried about potential loading/memory leaks and still testing it out. It works fine with 10ish models but I don't know how well it will expand as HMA gets more and more animations and characters in the futures.
