Anyone have the resources to create an open source Porn Editor in Unreal Engine, similar to Wild Life's Sandbox mode?

There's this game called Wild Life. It has a Sandbox mode where you can add props, lights, characters and sex scenes. It's extremely good, their animations and 3d models are of the highest quality; but the development is slow which is understandable. The developers have a commitment to make a Single Player Story for their game, so that will take away massive time from the Sandbox, which IMO is where the game truly shines.

What the adult porn game scene really needs right now is a Porn Editor with Triple A quality of Unreal Engine. This editor would allow the following functionality and features:

Porn Editor
- High Quality 3D characters with sexy bodies & faces, plus lots of customizations.
- High Quality sex animations.
- Open Source so the game can be HIGHLY moddable, using Unreal Engine Blueprints.
- Be able to create dialogue, story, branches, plot flags, like creating your own basic quests.
- Create erotic, pornographic stories that come to life through the power of 3D models, basic RPG dialogue mechanics, and animations, then share these erotic scenario files with the community, creating infinite amounts of content for each other. So you could make a mini Femdom story, Harem story, Netorare Story, or whatever kinks you're into.

Download the Wild Life game and try out the Sandbox. Then you'll see the potential for how amazing of a Porn Editor it can be.

Honey Select 1 & 2 and Koikatsu are SHIT. The animations are shit, the models are shit, the renderer is PURE and UTTER SHIT. Skyrim & Fallout modding are OLD & outdated, and never originally designed for porn.

Well, they've spent at least a couple of millions of dollars creating Wild Life. Even without the story mode, the amount of work required to create the editor is massive. That's not going to happen any time soon. Probably never.

Why don't you start by installing UE5 right now instead of hoping for something that more likely will never come?

Lumen & Nanite eleminate massive amount of tedious tasks; no GI baking, no manual reflect/light probes, no need for LODs. Smart use of Quixel scan library already allow to create huge complex scene. Cannibalizing MetaHuman for skin shading 101. Industry seems pivoting toward (UE, Unity, Autodesk, Maxxon, Zbrush, Blender... And I guess Daz too at some point) which should sharing assets between engine way easier. For animation lot of "cheap" solutions solution are being made, whether with mocap (with a simple phone/webcam) or AI trained.
